"I'm glad then." he smiled, "But, that was weird with Alice." he frowned, "She acted like she knew you."

"Maybe I look like someon from her past. I dunno."

"Strange. So, anything you wanna do?" He asked, sitting up on the counter.

"What do you do for fun around here?"

"My brother and I usually cause some trouble for entertainment . ." Ethan started to say before Aiden ran in, "There are Reapers advancing on the base." he warned.

"What?!" Blair squealed, jumping to her feet. She saw Hakkam and Kit dash by the kitchen towards the armory.

"We've gotta get ready." Aiden said before following after the two.
Sam was already in the armory, grabbing a metal pole before heading outside.

Blair took Ethan's hand and dragged him after Aiden. She saw Hakkam outfitting himself with a machete and a dozen throwing knives. Kit donned his usual spiked knuckles. He tightened them into place and wiggled his fingers.

Ethan grabbed for his rope dart while Aiden pulled out a crowbar, "Let's get rid of these bastards."
Ethan looked to Blair, "Take any weapon you'd like."

She chose a wicked-looking double-bladed staff and swung it expertly a few times. "Let's go then."

Sam nodded, leading the way out towards the group of Reapers. There seemed to only be about seven of them. The leader walked ahead of the path and announced, "If you give us your souls, you'll die peacefully."
"Like hell I'd give you my soul." he sneered.

"You keep trying but the answer is always the same " Kit said with a sigh.

"Then we'll take it by force." He decided.
"You can try." Sam said, running forward.

Kit and Hakkam moved in time with Sam. Hakkam slashed one to pieces immediately.

Sam swung at one of the Reapers in the head, watching as he stumbled back before stabbing through his chest.
Ethan ran through swinging the roped dart and slashed at one of the Reaper's faces

Roxy used her long, almost sword-like knife to make several quick slashes across the chest of a Reaper, and finished it off with a stab through the chest as it stumbled back.

Blair stayed next to Ethan, slashing at any Reaper that moved.

"You're good at this." he smirked, swinging the rope towards another Reaper.

"Lots of practice," she assured, stabbing another two straight through. She saw Kit destroy another out of the corner of her eye. He was just as calculated and accurate as ever.

Roxy took out another Reaper with a swift blow to the neck, dancing out of the way of another's attack in the process.

Sam took out the final one before the rest retreated. He released a tired sigh, "They'll be back soon enough." He said, looking at the others then at Blair, starting to become more trusting of her.

Blair glanced at Kit. He was doubled over, one hand gripping his side. His jaw was tight, and his teeth were grinding against each other. "You alright?"
He just glared, still in too much pain to talk.

Roxy glanced at Kit with a bit of concern, then around at everyone else, who seemed to thankfully be alright.

Sam moved to his side, "Kit, are you okay?" he asked, concerned.

He straightened slowly, using Hakkam's hand on his stomach for support. "My rib," he explained tersely.
