"Let's get it." Ava grinned at him

He mirrored the grin back at her and nodded, "Let's do this," he ran towards the creature and jumped up, slashing at it's chest.

Ava attacked its side, nimbly slicing up and down.

Nik landed back onto the ground, looking up at the Heartless who seemed unaffected by their attacks.

"We have to find a weak spot in it's armor." Ava said, trying the back, stabbing in possible places.

"I'll distract him, you keep looking." he said, drawing the heartless's attention towards him.

"Plan." Ava said, continuing to attack the creature.

As Nik continued to attack, he noticed that his neck was completely open. He jumped up, jabbing his keyblade into the creature's neck, watching as it exploded into shadows, sending him flying back.

"Nice" Ava said, lowering her keyblade as the Heartless disappeared.

"Yeah," he grinned, "Hopefully we won't have to deal with anymore of those."

"Hopefully, let's not jinx ourselves again." she replied with a half grin.

"So, I guess we better go back in and tell that guy that it's all clear,"

"Probably." Ava nodded, starting back inside.

"You know, we make a great team." Nik said, walking alongside her.

"We are pretty good aren't we." Ava said, smiling at him.

"We took down a giant heartless, so hell ya we do." he grinned.

Ava laughed "Let's not get too cocky huh?" she teased

"I suppose, but still, that was awesome."

"It definitley was." Ava grinned

Nik opened the door, the carpet unraveling again, "Alright, guess w better carry on."

"Let's see who lives here." Ava said, starting back inside.

"Yeah," Nik said, curiously walking down the hall, glancing around.

Ava watched the hallway ahead as they went, waiting to hear that voice again.

"Huh, I guess he's not talking," Nik frowned.

"So follow the carpet?" Ava asked, looking down at it as she spoke.
