Nik smirked, walking alongside her, "This place is really odd."

"I'll say." Ava nodded in agreement

Nik traveled down the road with her until they reached a castle, made of wood, bricks, panels, windows, all different materials, and was colored with different patterns and textures. "Well, I guess we start looking around here, then."

"All these colors are disorienting." Ava muttered, looking at the castle.

"Yeah, I can't tell if it's cool or annoying," Nik said, walking towards the large doors.

"I'd opt toward annoying, but we haven't seen everything yet." Ava replied, following him.

Nik walked to the door, as he grabbed for the triangle shaped doorknob the door opened on its own, a multicolored carpet rolled down the hall and stopped at their feet, "I guess we go this way, then."

"Follow the multicolored carpet, nice." Ava joked

"Seems like it," Nik said, walking down on it, glancing at the hall. Once again, it was odd, filled with weird shaped windows, different colors and patterns streaked the wall as well.

"What is this place even supposed to be?" Ava asked, starting down the hallway.

"No clue, looks like a children's book to me."

"That's probably a decent guess." Ava said

Nik continued to move forward, startled as he heard a smooth voice say, "Who could this be? Guests here? Oh my, oh my."

"Hello?" Ava called, surprised by the voice.

"We must prepare! Prepare we must! But not with these evil creatures running a muck."
"Do you mean the Heartless?" Nik called.
"Oh my, oh my. Such evil things, so vile, so mean."

"Do you know where they are?" Ava asked quickly

"In the courtyard! In the Courtyard! Get them, so we may enjoy our guests!"
"You heard him, let's go." Nik said, running back towards the entrance.

Ava nodded and ran after him, her keyblade materializing in her hand.

Nik held out his hand and his keyblade appeared into his hand. He ran out to the courtyard and saw a group of heartless stalking around. "Ready?"

"Yep." Ava replied simply, raising her keyblade and jumping at the Heartless.

Nik ran forward, slashing at the heartless, turning them into nothing but shadows.

Ava took the Heartless on her side, slashing and stabbing her way through the shadows, that burst into nothing as she cut through them.

((Sorry, had to catch up with family members I'm visiting >__< just been a busy day))

"This is getting easier," he smirked, but just as he said it, a large, more powerful Heartless appeared in dark armor, "Crap."

(I understand. I was busy all day too)

"You had to say that, didn't you." Ava said with a groan.

"Sorry," Nik said with a slight smile, "We'll have to work together with this one."
