"You're no fun either!" she called as he left.
A boy with dark hair ran through the courtyard, his blue eyes looking around as he accidently ran into Colton, "Sorry, mister." he said innocently.

"Yep, hide." he grinned, smirking, "You guys have until two hundred and then I'm going after you guys." He begun to count and Ash ran through the woods, looking for the best place to hide.

"Hmm, a big old meeting then, lovely." she murmured, putting a hand around his hip.

Colton was still unsteady. He stumbled back a step. "It's alright. Why are you in such a hurry?"

Jennings grinned and took off. Phil cheered and bolted in the opposite direction.

"It's like a reunion," he joked, pushing aside bushes and underbrush.

The kid looked at him and rubbed the back of his neck, "I'm looking for my father, he just returned from his post out near the shore, I was just in a rush to see him but I can't find him."

Ash ran through the woods, looking for the best place to hide. He looked around and not ahead, oblivious to the nearing loose ground ahead of him.

"Mmm, yeah. It better be fun and interesting. I swear if we are just updating again I'm going to scream. I need excitement."

"Want me to help?"

Jennings barely contained his excited giggles as he raced through the underbrush.

The boy blinked then smiled, "Yes please, sir. I'm Seth, by the way."

Ash continued to dash forward before letting out a yelp as he fell through the loose ground, tumbling through the tall grass and bushes before rolling to a stop. He groaned, a gash on his head as he regained his breath.

"Seth. I'm Colton. So, what's your dad look like?"

Jennings skidded to a stop before he crashed into a tree and headed in the other direction, continuously glancing over his shoulder.

"He has lighter hair, dark gray eyes and is about your height." Seth informed, "I'm sorry Mister to bother you, I've just been missing him." he said quietly.

Finn called out as a warning, "Only sixty seconds left!" he warned

Erza groaned, "Are we there yet?"

"No, don't worry about it. I'll help you look." He held out his hand. "Come on."

Jennings ran faster. He looked ahead too late. The ground fell out from underneath him. He fell into the pit with a wild, shocked yelp. He hit the ground on his back and grunted.

"You're easily bored, you know that?" he asked, reaching the clearing. "Here we are." Kieran and Adonis were already there.

Seth smiled and took his hand, "I'm also looking for a friend of mine, sir."

Ash woke with a start from his unconscious state and saw Jennings now stuck with him, "You too? "

"Finally." She breathed, "Let's get to plotting. "

"Alright then. Holler if you see them. Any idea where they might be?"

"Yeah. Ran right into the hole," he said stiffly as he sat up.

Levi rolled his eyes behind her back and nodded to Adonis. "She insisted on coming along."
"She would've found a way here nonetheless. Your boy, he's been planted?"
"He has."

"No. I've never been here before, i have no clue." He said innocently, "Are you a soldier like papa?"

"Do you think there's a way out?" He asked as he looked around. He released a rough fit of coughs as he did so.

Erza glared at him before looking over at Adonis, "What's this all for if I may ask." She murmured as she looked him over.

"Of sorts. I'm not a common soldier though. I think your dad and friend will be around the training yards. That's where most of them congregate."

Jennings frowned. "You alright, man?"

"Taking them down from the inside out. They don't trust me enough to let me on the specific details of the country or their personal lives, so we're using Levi's son to accomplish that."

"Okay. " Seth said and looked back up at him, "Then what are you?"

"Yeah." He said gruffly through a cough, "Sorry I'm known to get sick." He glanced at him with his forest green eyes

"What if that's not enough?"

"I'm a prince. I fight with the men, but I lead them as well."

"Ah. I'm sorry." He leaned against the wall of the pit. "That can't be fun."

"I found a few men in the city that would be willing to pose as servants to spy for us then."

Seth looked at him and blinked, "No way." He breathed

"Yeah" Ash coughed, looking around, "How will we get out of here?"

Erza huffed, "And what will we do? I'm getting so bored."

He chuckled. "Yeah, way."

"Umm . . . wait for someone to find us?"

"They know what you look like, and to be honest, you're not very subtle. So you will be making friends with the criminals in town," Adonis said.

Seth blinked again before exclaiming, "That's insane! Why are you helping a kid like me then? "

"It's going to be night soon though and it'll get colder." Ash frowned, "We can't just sit around."

Erza glared but nodded, "Fine but we better get to slaughtering soon."

"Because you're a kid and shouldn't be wandering around alone. And I need to get my good deed for the day in," he joked with a wink.

"Well, if you can figure out some way to climb up a wall of dirt, let me know."

"I'm tempted to ban you from this whole thing entirely with that viewpoint," Adonis replied coldly.

Seth smirked and opened his mouth to say something but saw his dad, "There he is!" He pointed at the man from the bar.

Ash glared, "Your very helpful, you know." He said sarcastically

Erza smiled pleasantly, remembering Adonis was not one do them, "I meant symbolically slaughtering Alaric's rule since you are by far the better hope for Avon."

"That's your dad? Just met him, actually."

Jennings smirked. "They'll find us before we freeze to death, don't worry. Save your energy in case a bear falls in here or something." He folded his hands behind his head and closed his eyes.

"Of course you did," Adonis said smoothly with a half-smirk.

"Did you happen to meet my friend, too?" He asked as Vincent walked forward.
"I see your sober." He said, amused, "Thanks for escorting my son."

Ash looked at the boy, finding him strange, "How can you be so calm?" His dad had always taught him to be on guard, so it was very odd to him.

Erza smirked, "Then I shall do as you asked, sir." She bowed and walked by him, hands trailing along his covered chest.

"I don't think so. Only met one new person today." He smirked at Vincent. "Even though I get wasted easily, it clears up quickly for me. Cute kid."

He opened one eye. "I don't know. I've never been one to panic and worry. Doesn't mean I'm letting my guard down. I tend to make mistakes when get all tense and panic, so I don't let myself get into that mental state."

Adonis watched her go out of the corner of his eye.
"What about us? What do you want us to do?" Kieran asked.
"I believe you have some allies in the city, Levi."
"I do."
"Contact them. Call in some favors. Kieran, you're the most discrete out of all of us. I want you to follow Alaric and Isabella whenever they go into town. Tell me everything they do, who they talk to. I want to know everything about them."
He nodded once. "Will do."

"Cute, I suppose you could describe him like that." he said, a bit amused, "I'm sorry, was he any trouble?"

Ash blinked and nodded, "I guess that's a weakness of mine." he leaned against the dirt wall, "My father . . when he was still alive," he added, "He always taught me to be on guard, but I guess I always let panic get in the way of things. . " he said thoughtfully, his white hair falling into his eyes.

"Watch out!" Finn grinned as he started to search the grounds.

"Nah, just looking for you."

Jennings looked at him thoughtfully. "Israel – my teacher. Not my dad. I can't even remember what my dad looks like. Always taught me to remain calm no matter the situation. Adrenaline is fine. It enhances your hearing, reflexes, and sight, but panic sends your mind into overload and you end up getting hurt. It's hard though, and the training for that was absolute hell."

Lena hid in her tree branches. She had always been good at climbing. She stayed perfectly still, watching the grounds from above.

"I see, well thank you sir." he saluted, "You may want to go find that girl of yours. I heard her yelling." he said with an amused smile.

"Yeah, my dad has told me that too." He sighed, running a hand through his hair, "I guess . . ." he stopped himself, unsure why he was about to spill out his feeling to some Avon kid. "Never mind." he said, looking around the pit.

Finn walked around near the tree Lena was in, looking around carefully for any sign of the others.
