Jennings laughed. "Race ya there?"
"I hope so. He needs to get out of that office every once in a while."

Colton scowled and staggered backwards. "What are you? My mother?" he slurred, jabbing an accusing finger at her.

"Five years." He teased the little brown puppy. He named the dog Orion. After the constellation.

"He won't. He's a smart kid."

Brooke beamed at him and nodded, "Yeah!" she dashed forward, getting a head start.

Claudia glared at him, "No, I'm your girlfriend, but maybe not for long if you keep acting like a child." venom laced her words, not in the mood to be dealing with this.

Ash blinked, "Wow, that's a long time. I didn't know kids stayed here for that long."

"Let's hope you're right." She murmured, running her hand over chest chest.

Jennings waited a moment longer before running after her. His longer legs could catch up with her soon enough, but he slowed down to make it an even race.

His scowl deepened. "I don't appreciate your tone. I am still your boss. Technically. I'm a prince, after all. Watch your place, woman."

"They do when they're not claimed or adopted," he replied with a sad half-smile.

Levi smiled fleetingly. "I hope I am."

Lily chuckled and chased after them, content to keep up and not exert herself.

((OH NO HE DIDN'T))

Brooke giggled as she started to run faster, looking behind occasionally and started to giggle even more.
"Yeah, I'm really concerned about him." Finn said quietly and looked at the two running.

Claudia's eyes flared, "The boss of me? Well, fine then, Prince, I'm done with you." she snapped, slapping him across the face.

"Oh, right." Ash said quietly, "I'm sorry." he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly as Kira jumped at his knees.

"What if him being back in his homeland takes him away from you?" Erza asked, hiding a smirk.

(OH YES HE DID)

Jennings pushed his pace just enough to tease her into running faster. "I'm catching up!"
Lena smiled, watching the pair. She looked at Finn. "I am, too."

His face snapped around and he blinked, surprised. He rubbed his face. "Ow!"

Phil shrugged. "It's alright. Like I said, I like it here. In a couple years, I can move out and get a real job and place of my own."

"I have a backup plan."

"Noo!" She squealed, running to the lawn of the orphanage.
"Maybe Mom can get him to stop working."

"Ass." She snapped before stomping off.

Ash smiled, "That'll be good." He nodded, "You're 14, right?"

"Do tell." She murmured

Jennings reached the lawn a moment after her. "OK, you win."
"I hope so. We should set up an evening alone for them or something."

Colton watched her go and glanced at the bartender.
"Smooth," he remarked.
The prince scowled. "This is why you shouldn't let me drink." He stumbled after her, knowing full well that he'd only make things worse.

"Yep! Are you 14, too?"

He grinned cheekily. "Spoilers."

Brooke jumped up and down, "Yay, I won, I won!"
"We should." Finn said, smiling at his twin sister before looking over at Brooke and shook his head, "Yes, yes, you won. Let's go look for Phil and the others."

Claudia walked tensely, her gray eyes full of fury. She whirled around, hearing uneven footsteps behind her and her eyes flared, "What do you want?" she snapped.

"Yeah," he nodded and smiled, feeling content of being around those his old age instead of with his father and the others at the estate. He picked up Kira who licked his face and he laughed, "So, wanna do something?" he asked.

Erza sighed, "You're no fun." she complained, "How can I get you to talk?" she murmured, idly glancing out the carriage window to see if they were close.

Lily chuckled and continued to follow, feeling slightly out of place because she hadn't been here for so long.

"I want to see the puppies!" Jennings yelled, dashing inside, suddenly turning into a five-year-old.
Lena rolled her eyes and laughed. She looked at Lily. "Have you been here since Mom got it up and running?"

"You," he said with a lopsided, giggling grin. He shook his head, trying to sober himself up. "No. Well, yes, but to apologize."

Phil grinned. "Yes! What do you want to do?"

Levi smirked. "I'm sure you'll think of something."

Brooke giggled, following after Jennings. Finn shook his head, "You two are too much." he said, following after them.

Claudia's eyes narrowed at him, "Don't you even dare try to apologize to me while you're a slobbering drunk." she snapped.

"I don't know." he admitted, "I don't really know all the things to do around here." he raised an eyebrow as he heard distant voices and the sound of footstep near.

Erza smiled mischievously, sitting on his lap and pressed her lips against his.

Lena heard Jennings laugh loudly over his shoulder. She giggled. "Dork."

"Right. Right. Hit me again."

Phil perked up when he heard Jennings voice. "JENNINGS!! There's some people I want you to meet!"

Levi stiffened momentarily before returning the kiss. He pulled his head back. "Not quite what I meant, but I'll take it."

Claudia just stared at him and turned away, "I don't have time for this."

Ash raised an eyebrow, "Is he apart of the orphanage too?" He asked watching as Kira ran towards the others.

Erza smirked, "Seeing if that would work. Tell me? Pretty please?"

"No. No! Please, Claudia. I'm sorry. Seriously though, hit me again. It'll clear my mind a little more."

"No, they're from the palace, but they're super nice and awesome!"
"PHILIP!" Jennings yelled, running and tackling the smaller boy to the ground.
Phil yelped and laughed, batting Jennings's hands away and kicking him off. "Get offa me, fatty!"
"That's hurtful."

"Why are you so curious? Don't you want to be surprised?"

Claudia shook her head, "No, sober up yourself then maybe I'll listen to you." She said coldly, starting to walk away again.

Ash looked at Jennings carefully, his heart racing a bit though he had no clue why.
Finn laughed at the two, "So cute. "

Erza made a face ,"I hate surprises."

Colton went to follow her again, but let her go. He scowled. "I'm dumb."

Jennings laughed and rolled onto his back. He spotted Ash and raised an eyebrow. Something about his eyes . . . "Who're you? You new?"

"Learn to like them," he replied with a wickedly teasing smile.

Ashlee stumbled over towards Colton, her face flushed and a smile on her face, "Why ya lookin so down, bro?" She slurred, "We're spoused to have fun! " she slurred.

Ash blinked once, brushing off the strange feeling, "Yeah, I'm Warren."
"You have weird hair." Brooke said to him and he just frowned
"Brooke, you can't just say that to people." Finn sighed


Erza narrowed her eyes and got off of Levi and sat a distance away, "Whatever, are we there yet?"

"It's Claudia. This is why we shouldn't drink."

Jennings chuckled and rapped his knuckle on her head. "Be nice. You have a weird nose, so don't judge."

"Five minutes."

Ashlee snorted and rolled her eyes, "She just doesn' know how ta haf fun!" she handed him a shot glass, "C'mon, we' celebratin!"

Brooke covered her nose and squealed, "I do not!"
Finn chuckled and looked up at the sun, "We should really go into the woods and play some manhunt, we haven't done that in forever."
"Man hunt?" Ash raised an eyebrow, confused.

Erza crossed one leg over the other and nodded, "Are we meeting at the tavern?" she asked, "Or just the woods?"

"Not anymore. I need some water." He pushed the glass away.

Jennings grinned. "You and Phil should join us!"

"Not the tavern. Someone was hanging around the last time. We're meeting in the forest."

Ashlee rolled her eyes, "Wuteva. Your girlfriend is makin ya a bore."

Ash rubbed the back of his neck, "I don't know how to play." he admitted.
"Just run and I'll have to find you and take you down." Finn smirked.

"Oh." she said in distaste.

"Go lie down, Ashlee."

"It's like extreme hide and seek," Jennings explained.

He snorted. "Not your favorite location, I know." He got out of the carriage and walked for the tree line.

"Nuu, I dun wanna." she shook her head, "But goin on bout Claudia, she's kinda too guyish. Bein a commander and all."

"Okay." Ash smiled, "I'll play."
"Alright, let's get started." Finn grinned.

Erza followed alongside him, arms crossed, "Why isn't Kieran here too?"

"Shut up, Ashlee," he grumbled, heading back for the palace.

"Sweet. You starting, Finn?"

"He should be here already. He had something to do before hand."
