"Well, she'd attempt to anyway." Mercy said

"Alright, so no going to Outcasts. I'd rather keep you alive."

Scott found Dean and Carson dueling and the three of them found Ross roaming the halls a few minutes later.
"Ross, come with me. We're gonna go round up some rebels," Scott said, smiling.

Levi laughed awkwardly. "I'll let you know."

"We appreciate that." he said with a cheeky smile, "Staying alive is nice."

Ross raised an eyebrow and nodded, "Sounds like a plan."

Catherine winked, "Good." she smirked, and faced forward, directing her house out of the way from a large rock.

"Better than being dead," Isabella stated. "Well, let's go."

"Great. Let's roll." Scott led the way down to the ground.

Levi smiled faintly, urging Summer into a steady trot.

"That too," Alaric nodded, following after Isabella, "I can't believe we're making an army."

Ross followed, "The sooner the better, Duncan is waiting for us."

"Is thee anything else you want to do?" Catherine asked, "Riding is fun but after a while . ."

"I can't believe it's taken us this long to make an army," Isabella said, leading the way through the woods. "It should've been done a long time ago."

"We'll get through this as soon as we can," Scott promised.

"I'll let you choose this time. What do you like to do around here?" Levi asked, steering his horse towards the stables.

"Like that king guy said, we all had separate ideals," He shrugged, "Even if it means we have the same goal."

"Good," Ross said, "Not that I don't like this group, it's just Duncan wishes it."

"Let's go to the pond," Catherine smiled, "It's on the estate and it's very . . romantic." she winked.

"And there was no definite leader, I suppose. At least it's happening now."

Scott smirked. "Of course. You do as your king commands."

Levi smiled. "Lead the way."

"I still don't want that Duncan guy to lead the new Avon," Alaric muttered, "You should be the leader, Isabella."

"I am a loyal subject." he smirked.

Catherine smiled at him before directing her horse down the path towards the pond.

Isabella smiled modestly. "Duncan seems far wiser than me. He never said that he would take over. He only would if no one else stepped up. When we get to his domain, we'll see how good or bad of a leader he is."

"As you should be. How long has he been ruling over there?" Scott asked, heading through the streets to a known rebel group that one of his friends ran with.

Levi followed a step behind, thankful to be outside and not in the city or in the house.

"If that Ross guy follows him around, he obviously isn't a good leader then." he muttered, still bitter about the whole thing.

"Thirty years, ever since he helped rid Alexander's troops from there." he responded, admiration clear in his voice.

It didn't take long to reach the pond, once they did Catherine walked over to the edge of the water and sat down, undoing the laces on her boots before dipping her feet in. She turned over to Levi and smiled, patting the grass next to her, "Come next to me." she smiled, looking at him with her warm, brown eyes.

"Don't base a leader on his followers. There are always bad eggs," Isabella said gently, smiling at him.

A quick smile split Scott's face. "He rescue you or something?"

Levi obliged quickly, pulling off his boots and rolling up his pants. He settled down next to her, sticking his feet in as well. He breathed deeply. "I could stay right here forever," he whispered as if talking any louder would upset the wildlife around them.

"Still, the guys an ass." Alaric said crossly, "If you become leader, exile him, please? For me?"

"Yeah," Ross nodded, "My mother was abused by those soldiers, and ended up killing herself so I fended for myself. Duncan took me in and helped me to fend for myself.

Catherine laughed softly, leaning her head against Levi's shoulder, "Isn't this nice?" she asked quietly.

Isabella laughed. "I'll consider it." She patted his cheek teasingly as they reached the city. "Scott will go looking for Dustin, so we'll head East. There's one big group that I know of."

"Your admiration of him is definitely warranted, in that case. It's much like what I did with Isabella, except that she's the leader, not me."

He smiled. "It really is." He leaned his head against hers, growing more and more comfortable with her. Like how he felt with Gen and Isabella. "It's relaxing."

Alaric reddened a bit and looked away, nodding, "Sounds good, commander, sir, er, ma'am."

"Really?" Ross raised an eyebrow, "That's a story I'd like to hear."

Catherine moved closer, nestling up next to him, "I'm really glad you came here, Levi," she said quietly.

Isabella tried her best not to laugh at him. He was easy to talk and mess with like Levi or Scott.

"Her parents initially headed up the group. We were smaller then, only a couple dozen or so people. One night, her parents took her and me out to rescue some prisoners. But, it was a trap. Her parents were murdered right in front of her. She was badly injured, and I managed to get the two of us out of there. She was only 13. I was 19, and her little brother back at camp was three. I became their father of sorts. I raised her from the moment her parents were gone, but it was obvious that she was the better leader."

"I'm glad I did, too." He looked down at her. She really was beautiful - a different kind of beauty from Gen's innocent, unassuming grace or Isabella's fierce, fiery spirit. It was a pure, untouched beauty worthy to immortalized in a painting or sculpture. His hand moved seemingly on its own accord. His thumb skimmed over her cheek and jaw, tracing the details there. "Thank you for bringing me," he whispered.

Alaric looked over at her, raising an eyebrow, "I can tell you're not trying to laugh at me, mean."

Ross looked at him, "It seems like you're as kind as my King." he said with a slight bow, "It's an honor then."

Catherine leaned towards him and whispered in his ear, "Let's have some fun."

Isabella lost it. She laughed loud and hard. "I'm trying my very hardest, I promise. You get flustered so easily, Alaric. It's cute."

Scott's face split in a peculiar smile. "And you're not as bad as I thought. It's good to have you on, Ross." He clapped him on the shoulder before turning and knocking on a door to what looked like an apothecary.

Levi tilted her face towards his, kissing her gently on the lips. One hand cupped her face, pulling her closer.

"Cute?" he blushed slightly, "I am not cute."

"Thanks," he nodded with a slight smile, following him and glanced around, "An interesting place."

Catherine scooted closer, her hand on the back of his neck.

"Fine. It's . . . highly manly."

"Everyone's gotta have a front in this town."
The door opened slightly. "Scott?"
"Hey, Dustin. Can we come in? We have something to talk about."
"Yeah, sure, of course. Come on in." He opened the door just far enough for them to fit inside.

Levi smiled against her mouth, letting himself unwind and relax.

"That's better," Alaric smirked.

Ross narrowed his eyes a bit but followed after them. This whole being out of Senentiae was overwhelming to him.

Catherine broke away from the kiss to catch her breath and smiled, "See? That wasn't so bad, was it?"

"Men," Isabella scoffed. She turned into an alley, shoved aside a stack of wooden boxes and pulled up a hidden door that led down to a wine cellar. "Israel, stay up here and keep watch."
"As you wish."
"Come on, you two." She led the way down the spiral staircase.

Dustin led them to the back and down a set of stairs. "So, what do you want to talk about?" he asked once they reached the main meeting area packed with rebels.
"Ross, do you want to tell them or me?" Scott asked.

He smiled. "No, it wasn't bad at all," he breathed.

"What's wrong with men?" Alaric frowned, following after her.

"I'll tell them," Ross spoke up, "Duncan, who runs a city called Sententiae wants to create an army to stop Alexander, we would like your assistance."

Catherine's hand traveled around his chest, "I told you I could get your mind off of stuff and be fun."

"Always having to prove how manly and tough you are." She kept one hand on the railing. The light was dim and musty.

Scott stood next to him. "I've met Duncan, and he's powerful, fair, and from what I can tell, a good man. He's influential enough to bring all of us together. All we ask for is your help."
Dustin nodded. "We're in. We've been waiting for something like this. I assume we'll have to travel to Sententiae?"
"Yes. The army will gather there. Travel as discreetly as possible. There can't be a sudden mass migration away."
"We have our ways. And you have our help," Dustin said, clapping Scott on the shoulder.

"And I'm sorry I didn't believe you," he laughed, tugging a knot out of her hair.

"Well, that's what makes us awesome," he smirked, arms crossed.

"Thank you," Ross said with a bow, "We need all the help we can get."

"We should do this more often." She murmured, looking up at him.
