Isabella laughed. "I just need to know whether or not we need to make up a couple extra rooms."

"We'll all be staying." Alaric said with a small smile, "Thank you again for your hospitality."

"If you wouldn't mind." Mercy said with a small smile

"Not at all. Jasper, Koins, make up a couple rooms for our guests. Give them the ones down the hall from mine."
"Yes, ma'am," they chorused and started through the building and up the stairs.

"Thank you." Mercy said gratefully

Gen smiled and felt her legs crumble underneath her. Alaric caught her before she fell to the ground.
"Sorry," she said with a tired smile, "Still hasn't worn off, I guess."

"Here," Isabella said, taking Gen's weight. "I'll take her to the infirmary," she said gently. "If you don't mind."

Mercy watched, grateful and tired. They'd actually had decent luck for a change.

Alaric nodded, "Just take care of her."
Gen rolled her eyes, "I'm not dying, I'll be fine." she looked over at Isabella and smiled, "Thank you."

She smiled. "Of course. Levi, help them out with whatever they need. Food, drink, chair, whatever. Alright?"
"Of course."
Isabella looked over at Gen. "Let's get you back to normal." She kept a steadying arm around her back as she led her to the infirmary.

Gen nodded, putting some support on Isabella as she walked. She tried not to let jealousy get the best of her, but still felt uneasy around Isabella.
Alaric watched them go then looked back at Levi, "We won't try to hold you too long. You have a meeting soon, right?" he said, remembering Levi mentioning it.

"Well, everything didn't go completely to hell this time." Mercy joked

Levi laughed. "Yeah, I do, but Israel's a patient man. Freakishly patient. Hungry? Thirsty? Need to sleep? I'm here to help."

Isabella lowered Gen onto a cot. "Deep breaths." She grabbed a few supplies from the cabinets and knelt down in front of her.

"Let's hope we make a habit of having good luck." Alaric winked at Mercy then looked over at Levi, "I'm pretty good, just a bit tired." he admitted, "I don't need to be coddled though."

Gen obeyed, releasing deep, relaxing breaths. Something felt wrong though, felt over anxious for some reason by tried to suppress it.

"Yeah, some sleep is all I need." Mercy said with a small smile.

"Alright." He held up his hands. "Your rooms are in there. Take a right at the dining hall and straight to the back. If you don't need anything, I'll leave."

Isabella glanced up at her. "I'm not blind, you know," she said gently as she ran a swab over the crook of Gen's elbow.

"We're all good, thanks again." Alaric said with a smile, "And good luck at your meeting." he said.

"It's nothing," Gen said, shrugging it off, or at least attempted to.

"Thanks." Mercy said with a smile, echoing Alaric.

"Yeah, thanks. Take care." He waved once before heading back down the ladder.

"No, that's not what I meant," she replied with a quirky smile. "Levi. You were together, no?" She filled a short needle with a pale green liquid.

"So, how do you like it here?" Alaric asked Mercy, leaning against the wall.

Gen blinked at her, "How'd you know?" she asked quietly, shocked she came to that conclusion.

Levi headed through the streets, hands shoved in his pockets. He enjoyed the night. It was calmer, cooler. Helped him think.

"Eyes can be very deceiving. This might sting a little." She pushed the needle tip into her skin and pushed the anti-poison into her veins. "I've caught a look and a glance that meant more than just friendship."

Catherine, who had been waiting for Levi ever since she had seen him, spotted him as he walked down the street. She began to follow him from a distance, her hips swaying.

Gen exhaled tightly, then stayed quiet for a few moments, unsure what to say, "Don't worry, there is nothing between us anymore, we both changed." she said quietly.

Blissfully unaware of his tail, Levi turned down a street towards Israel's usual meeting spot.

"He hasn't changed much. He just can't remember." She covered the puncture spot with a bandage and rocked back onto her heels. "I remember when he remembered Israel for the first time. Israel had been with us for a couple months, but when Levi came around, it was like nothing had ever happened. They were back to being best friends again." She inhaled and looked down at her hands. "Chances are, it'll be the same with you."

"I rather like it here a lot, actually." Mercy said "Though I feel bad for Gen."

Catherine smirked, deciding to pick up her pace. She walked right at Levi's heals and murmured, "There you are."

Gen looked at Isabella, and shocked herself as she said, "I won't pursue him anymore, you've been good to him, he deserves someone like you."

Alaric nodded, "It's gotta be rough, but I have a feeling she'll manage."
