"She's tough." Mercy nodded

He turned and frowned. "You're not Israel."

Isabella laughed a little. "I'm flattered, but we should let Levi choose, no?" She smiled up at her. "I like you. You're the kind of girl Levi would like."

"You're very observant," Catherine said, amused. She trailed her finger down his cheek, "But I am the girl who is willing to tell you about your past."

Gen smiled and nodded, "Right," she said, "And thank you for helping me out, I feel much better."

"Well, I guess let's take it easy for a while, then." he smiled.

Levi's breath caught in his throat. He stepped back away from her hand. "Who are you?"

"Good." She smiled and got to her feet. "Need anything else?"

"A friend," Catherine said, turning on her heel, her brown hair swished with the movement, "If you want to know more, come with me," she said, offering him her hand.

"I'm fine, thanks." Gen said, and closed her eyes, feeling exhausted.

"Agreed." Mercy responded to Alaric with a smile

"I - uh . . ." he ran a hand through his hair. "Ugh. Wait up." He ran after her, eyes bright and hopeful. "What can you tell me?"

"Your room should be ready now. It's a hall over and at the very end. I need to check on my brother." She patted Gen's knee. "Go get some sleep."

"Wanna walk around for a bit?" Alaric asked, glancing around the hallway.

Catherine smiled at him, and bopped him on the tip of his nose with her finger, "Anything you want to know, I promise."

"Right," Gen said, getting up to her feet, "Again, I owe you."

"My uncle. Is he alright? I haven't been able to find him. Who is Gen? Why do I feel like I know her? Was I really with the Outcasts?"

"You owe me nothing," Isabella said with a wave of her hand.

"Sure, I'd like to explore." Mercy smiled with a nod.

"Jeez, one question at a time, kid." Catherine muttered before responding, "As far as I know, he's alright. I haven't heard a word from him either. Gen, I guess you can say you two were close," she said vaguely with a mischievous smile, "And yes, you were apart of the Outcasts, but you were considered a traitor." As she answered, she lured him towards the trap that was set in motion.

Gen got up from her cot and headed towards her room. She closed the door behind her and fell onto the bed, exhausted, physically and mentally.

Alaric grinned, "Let us travel then."

He blinked at that. "I was?" he murmured. "Am I still a traitor?"

"Alright." Mercy said smiling, starting to walk

"I have no way of answering what your intentions are now, ever since you disappeared. Besides,I simply heard that you were considered a traitor, that doesn't mean you were, but then again, you could've been." she smirked, having fun. She lead him into a large estate own by Alexander, hoping he was too lost in his mind to notice, "But Gen was the only one who believed you weren't."

"This'll take a lot of getting use to." Alaric said, glancing around.

"Yeah, don't sleep walk, you'll fall and break you're neck." Mercy joked

"Gen?" he whispered mostly to himself. "That explains it. Why can't I remember anything?"

"Yes, let's avoid that." Alaric smirked, amused.

"I dunno." She said innocently, "I'm curious myself." she said, leading him to the courtyard of the estate. She was surprised of how easily he took the bait.

"Hmm. I'll have to dig around some more for that answer then, huh?"

Isabella poked her head into Asa's room. "Hey there, kiddo. Still awake?"
"Yeah." He set aside his sketch pad and pencils. He ran over and wrapped his arms around her waist. "I missed you."
"Aw, I missed you too, buddy." She knelt down next to him. "But I'm fine." She kissed his forehead.
"Well, don't even bother saying hello, do you?" a new voice said from behind her.
Isabella laughed and turned around, looking up at Scott. "I apologize." She got to her feet and kissed the man's cheek. He was practically her older brother and father ever since her parents died. He was only five years older, but he was decades older mentally. His voice always eased her often racing mind. He never yelled or spoke in anything but soothing, calm tones.
"As long as you're alright," he said, hugging her tight.

"Seems so," Catherine said with false sympathy, and opened the door to the estate, "We can talk more in here, come inside." she said in a welcoming voice. She glanced over to the shadows of the dark room, where guards were hiding, weapons ready in hand.

He hesitated for a moment. The urge to know more was stronger than his sense of caution. He followed her in, senses on alert despite the want to understand.

The door closed behind them as a guard moved in front of it. The other guards, that surrounded the room, came out of hiding and trained all weapons onto the boy.
Catherine smirked, pulling out her own pistol and put it to Levi's head, "You were so easy to trap, it was almost cute."

He chuckled. "Yeah, I'm adorable," he muttered, glancing around. "I really don't like being outnumbered. It makes for too much stupid in the room."

"Your cousin only wishes to have a chat with you." Catherine winked, "And I only wish to have fun with you. As for your past, forget about it, it's never coming back."
"That's enough, Catherine." Vincent said, descending down the stairs, "Hello, cousin. It's been a while."

Levi narrowed his eyes. "I'd say the same, but I don't remember you either."

Vincent gave a look of mock pain, "You can't remember your favorite cousin? What a shame, looks like we're going to have to catch up." he smirked. He glided forward, a knife in his hand as he attempted to dig it into Levi's side.
