Colin shook away his thoughts and turned around. "Yeah, I'm coming." He opened the door and smiled down at her. "I tried. I think I made the situation worse though."

"Let's get the others then," he said quietly.

Chloe looked at him sadly, "He'll come around, but for now we should focus on the task at hand. We should get going."

"I know. Come on." He offered Chloe his hand and smiled his usual dorky smile.

Chloe smiled at him and took his hand, "I honestly don't know how anyone can stay mad at you, you're so adorable."

He chuckled modestly. "You should remind Fang of that."

"You two will make up in no time." She reassured and walked down the stairs with him. She saw Fang and Jade at the door, and smiled, "Lets get going."
Fang looked down at the floor and nodded, "Right."

Colin kissed the back of Chloe's hand before letting her go. "Hopefully we'll have better luck this time."

"Hopefully," Chloe winked,then looked at the others, Let's go kick some butt."

"I need a good butt-kicking session. Not for myself. On some other poor soul."

"Seems good," Chloe smiled, "We can all use this, I feel." she started to lead them towards the area Balthasar told them about. She turned around and looked at Fang, who was keeping distance from Colin and sighed. She wished they'd just hug and make up.

Colin glanced down at Chloe. He read her expression with a wry smile. "I know. I'm fighting the urge to attack him and force a forgiveness out of him," he whispered.

Chloe looked at him sadly, "Maybe this mission will bring you closer together." she said, her voice hopeful. She lead them through the woods that would bring them towards their destination.

"I hope so," he murmured, glancing back at Fang.

She put a hand on his arm and smiled, "It'll be okay, I promise." she winked at him.
Fang could distantly hear them, due to his dog like hearing, but ignored it. He was trying his best to avoid the whole thing.

"I hope you're right." He ran a hand through his hair. "I really hope so."

"I'm always right." She laughed musically. She stopped in mid stride though and frowned, an unsettling feeling going over her, "I think we're nearing." she murmured.

He glanced up. "We are. Keep close."

Fang morphed into a wolf and felt the presence become stronger with the more steps they took. "There seems to be at least three of them." he warned lowly

Colin's fingers morphed into curved dragon claws. He stayed close to Fang despite the unrest between them. There was still that urge to protect him.

Fang was too focused on the task at hand. He started to hear murmurs around them. He shot them a warning look with his green eyes before stalking forward.

Colin followed close behind, eyes darting back and forth.

Chloe brought light to her, creating an axe as it solidified in her hand. She crept forward, looking through the bushes at the three Death's Bloom members. Two of them were males, while one was female.
"This is so boring." the girl huffed, her orange hair cascaded down her shoulders in curls, "I just wanna fight something."
"Calm down, Ginny," the scrawny and said, his arms crossed loosely over his chest. His dark black hair fell into his eyes, "Don't make me calm you don't." he warned.
"Shut up, Skylar." she said, sticking her tongue out at him.
"Enough," the larger man snapped, "We have work to do."
Chloe glanced over at the others, seeing if they were ready to reveal themselves.

Colin nodded to her, poised and ready to attack.

Fang came out of the tree line, barking at the group and growled lowly.
Chloe followed after them, "Freeze, and we will not attack."
Ginny frowned, crossing her arms, "Great, we got caught."
Skylar looked at the group and smirked, "I sense anger within them."

"Creepy dude," Colin remarked. "I don't feel comfortable with another dude 'sensing' anything about me."
