Faith's Edge RP

He grinned. "You need to keep up your strength though. Have you eaten at all today?" he asked, concerned.

"Not really, but I'll be fine." Fang assured, "I'm a big boy."
"And big boys need their food." Chloe added.

Colin gave him a rather motherly look. "Big boys need more food than little boys. Eat."

"Okay, thanks moms." he rolled his eyes at the two, "I'm not really hungry but whatever, force feed me if you want."

"You hold him down and I'll feed?" he asked Chloe.

Chloe giggled, "Of course, sounds like a plan."
"No need for that," Fang said quickly as his plate was put down on the table. He took a bite out of it and sighed in relief, "Well, at least I can eat it without feeling like I'm dying."

Jade listened to them banter with amusement, trying her own food. It was spicy, but not so much that it was unbearable, she liked it.

Colin grinned around his fork, enjoying himself.

Fang finished up his meal quickly and leaned back in his chair, satisfied, "That was actually really good."

"Glad you liked it." Colin pushed his plate back and leaned forward on his arms. He tugged at a loose string idly.

Chloe finished up a few minutes later, "I'll have to come here again soon," she smiled.
Fang nodded, "So you're paying right?" He flashed a smile at Colin.

He smiled. "Yeah, it's all on me. My treat."

"You don't have have to do that, Colin." Chloe said.
"No, no, if insists." Fang smirked.

(Sorry. I fell asleep and then we had to go to church.)

He returned the smirk. "No, I'll be more than happy to pay."

"Well, if you insist." Chloe said with a small smile.
"So, where to after this?" Fang asked with a large yawn.

Colin folded one arm behind his head. "I'm following you all."
Jai returned with the check. "Separate or together?"
"I got it," Colin said, pulling his wallet out and counting enough to cover the meal.
"Well, aren't you a nice kid? I wouldn't do that for my friends."
"You don't have friends," Colin reminded.
"Mean, but true." Jai grinned. "I'll be right back with your change."

"I think we should get you back to Faith's Edge and have someone check on that arm of yours." Chloe said.
"I agree." Fang nodded.

Colin nodded, prodding his hand. "I think so, too."

"Then rest up for the night, alright?" Fang added.
"I think we could all use a good nights rest after these two busy days." Chloe added.

Colin pointed vaguely at Chloe then at Fang. "What she said." He took his change from Jai and smiled. "Thank you for the wonderful food. They enjoyed it."
"Bring 'em back sometime."
"Oh, I will." He got to his feet and stretched fluidly - like a cat. "Well, let's go."

"Yep." Fang said, getting to his feet and yawned widely once again.
"Back to home." Chloe smiled, leading the group back.

"Let's." Jade sad with a smile. "This had been the first pleasant evening she'd had in a while."

Colin waltzed along slightly ahead of everyone else. The ending of the day made up for anything that had happened earlier. He clasped his hands behind his back. He dug his fingernail into the palm of his numb hand, trying to feel something, anything. But still, it felt dead - like it didn't belong to him.

"So, do you think we'll get assigned a new job soon?" Fang asked Chloe as he walked alongside her.
"Hopefully, I'm having fun with these jobs." she winked with a smile.

Jade listened and walked beside them, enjoying the company.
