Isabella sighed. "Here we are. Home sweet home." She pushed her way through a thick wall of bushes to an area of thick-trunked, massively tall, ancient trees. All the houses, rooms, and buildings were built firmly into the trees. They were nearly impossible to see past the lower branches. Five ladders fell from the boughs, landing all around them. When the men started for the ladders, they froze at Isabella's whistle. "Oi. Guests first. Manners." She grinned, letting them know she was only joking. "But seriously, let them go first."
Levi gestured for Gen, Mercy, and Alaric to follow him. He knelt down, holding the ladder steady while they climbed.

Gen looked around in awe. It was like nothing she'd ever seen. Every rebel camp she'd seen was usually in towns or in small villages, disguised as something else. But this, this was extraordinary. She was distracted by the view, she had to be nudged back into reality by Alaric to get her to start moving up the ladder.
Alaric climbed up behind her. He decided they'd look around the place for a few before going after their siblings.

Mercy followed up the ladder, impressed with the hideout. It was unlike anything she'd ever seen.

Isabella followed Mercy up with Levi close behind. "Well, how do you like our humble abode?" she asked, leading them across a bridge to the central hub of the camp - a massive headquarters that completely encircled a thick tree. It contained a dining hall, training rooms, an infirmary, and her, Levi's, and Israel's quarters.

"It's amazing," Gen said, breathlessly.
"It's . . . interesting." Alaric admitted. He was anxious to leave though, he kept thinking about his siblings and the danger they could be in.

"I'm extremely impressed." Mercy said, looking around "No wonder I've never heard of you guys, this is awesome."

She beamed at them over her shoulder. "Glad you like it. My parents started it a decade or so ago. Are you staying for the night?"

"It would probably be unwise to travel at night." Mercy said, though she wished she could get Jack immediately.

Alaric looked at Mercy, "You girls stay, I'll go get Jack, Mimi and Allen."
Gen sighed, wishing she'd could come with Alaric, but she wasn't in any condition to.

"You shouldn't go out alone, especially at night." Mercy said, shaking her head.

"I don't want to wait another night though." Alaric said, crossing his arms, "Who knows what Lacie might have done to them."
"I don't think Lacie would do anything, Alaric." Gen responded, "She may be a b*tch, but if she harmed them, everyone would turn against her, she doesn't want that."

"I need to go into the city to meet with Israel. Do you want me to come with you? Safety in numbers after all," Levi asked.

Alaric shook his head, "No, it's best not you get involved in this. It'd be worse if we got more people involved. But if you want to Mercy, we can wait a night." he said, taking Gen's words to heart.
Gen smiled at the mention of Israel, as it brought back memories of the Brotherhood.

"I think Gen's right and she wouldn't do anything...I still don't like it but...it would probably be best if we waited till morning." Mercy said.

Levi looked between the three of them, raising an eyebrow.

"We'll just head out tomorrow then, I suppose." Alaric muttered then looked over at Isabella and Levi, "Ah . . .sorry, we're probably not making any sense now, don't mind us."

Stella walked through Nexia, glancing around at shop buildings as she passed. She heard the murmurs of residents, talking about the events of today with guards being killed ruthlessly. She rolled her eyes at them as she walked by.
