"Oi, stop it!" the one who was holding onto Mercy snapped, their voice also hinted towards a woman, and aimed a hard kick at her back.
What the Hell? Women bandits... Mostly brute men are known to be Bandits. Alaric frowned.

Mercy hissed in pain as the boot made contact with her back, sending her stumbling forward.
"What am I supposed to do, limply let you drag me away." she muttered angrily, regaining her balance.

"I would not object to it." the woman responded with an amused tone to her voice.
"Ah," the second woman said with a smile, "We're here."

"Wonderful. Isn't this generally the part of the story where the abductees get their blindfolds taken off." Mercy said with a slight hint of sarcasm.

"Great, we've got one with attitude." the first woman sighed, continuing to lead on, "We should have cut their tongues off as well, Nadra."
"Minerva would kill us, Cana." Nadra, who was leading Alaric, responded.
"Still." Cana said, making a, 'tch' noise with her tongue as she lead Mercy up the stairs, behind Nadra.

They're all women Mercy though, falling into a confused silence.

"We're here, Mistress Minvera." Cana announced as they entered the room. Nadra put her booted foot on Alaric's back, forcing him down to his knees.
"Wonderful." the woman responded, "It seems like it's time to end them."
"Of course." Cana said, bowing her head and put her boot on Mercy's back, forcing her to her knees.

"Endings...I sooo prefer beginnings." Mercy said acridly as her knees hit the floor smartly. If she was going to die, she mine as well die being a smart a**.

The girls ignored her. Cana walked away a few steps, but shortly returned, baring a sword, "Let's make this quick." she smirked, aiming a thrust at Alaric's back.
"Wait!" A voice interrupted and everything was still.
Alaric released a small breath of relief. So, they do have guys here
"What is it, Snake?" Minvera snapped.
"We don't have to kill them." he said calmly.
"That was our order, Snake." Cana replied, annoyance clear in her voice.
"But, they are skilled members, even the one who gave us the bounty admitted it." he reasoned.
"I'm listening." Minerva said.
"We can keep them, she'll never know that we didn't kill 'em." he said.
She? Who would want to send us here. Alaric thought with a frown.

There are seldom few people who knew we were traveling that road, and even fewer who could be referred to as she Mercy said, trying to narrow down who had got them into this mess, and paying attention to what was going on around her.

"What are you saying? Allow them into the Crimson? I don't have the patience to train them." Minerva frowned.
"I'll show them the ropes." Snake offered.
"But what about the boy, you know I hate boys in the group." she said lowly.
"You allowed me in, Mistress, make one more exception." The boy said with a light plead.
There was an agonizing moment of silence as she pondered the thought, "Very well, but they're your issue. One mess up though, and they're dead."

Mercy held in a sigh of relief. Okay they weren't being killed, they were being trained. She could work with that.

"Untie them, Cana." Minerva ordered.
"Of course, my lady." Cana said with a bow as she undid the binds behind their backs and took of their blindfolds. Alaric blinked twice, rubbing his wrists as he glanced around at the people surrounding him. There were numerous amounts of girls around, including the girl, Cana, who was undoing Mercy's bindings. Her hair was dark hair against the light shined a dark purple color that contrasted against her pale skin. His eyes then went to Minerva who sat in a large chair that resembled a throne. She was covered in steel armor which her long red hair tumbled over.
Next to her was the boy Snake. He blinked once at boy whose eyes resembled those of snakes. The boy winked at him, his white blonde hair falling into his eyes.

Mercy looked around, her vision blurred for a moment before adjusting to the light. She looked around at all of the girls, and the single boy Snake. THis was certainly an interesting group.

"Get them out of here, Snake. I may change my mind." Minerva warned.
"Of course, My Lady." he bowed and walked over to the two, "Let us get going."
Alaric narrowed his eyes at him then nodded, "Yeah, alright." he muttered, following after the boy.

Mercy didn't say anything, but followed the boy quietly. She wondered what was going on in Alaric's mind. This wasn't the best situation, but it had almost been much worse.

"You're from Laviern, aren't you?" Alaric turned to look at Snake, "I remember you, although you were much younger."
"Glad you remember me Rick." the boy smirked, "After all, we did have fun stealing from those passing nobles that one time." He stood across Alaric. He was a bit shorter than Alaric, but they seemed to be able the same age.
"Now you go by Snake, eh?"
"Yup, Minerva gave me the name, she saved me from that town." he smiled, "Now, I saved you guys."

"Wait, you two know each other?" Mercy asked, surprised

"When we were kids, yeah, before I came to The Outcasts." Alaric explained, "We were both from Laviern, as you know a very poor area. We went on a thieving mission together."
"Almost got caught too." Snake smirked.
"Yeah." Alaric shrugged, feeling a bit uneasy. He's never talked about his past.

"Oh, well thanks for saving us." Mercy said with a small smile.

"Not a problem." Snake said, "But you're not in the clear yet, you'll have to go through lots of training. If Minerva doesn't like you then she won't hesitate to kill you."
"Lovely." Alaric muttered.

"At least I'm a girl." Mercy said "What's up with the no guys rule?"

"Minerva doesn't like men, honestly I think she should be named after Artemis, the virgin Goddess from the old tales instead of Minerva. She just doesn't like men, I don't know why though." Snake shrugged.

"Minerva was a virgin goddess too." Mercy commented idly "But I can understand not liking men I guess. I don't like most of them, but then again, I don't like most girls either." she said with a half smirk.

"Huh, I thought it was only Artemis." Snake murmured but then shrugged, "I was never good at old religion anyways." he easily brushed off the last comment, he was use to remarks like that.
Alaric was tempted to spit back a remark but didn't dare in a place full of men hating women.
"I guess I'll start showing you around by bringing you to the training areas." Snake started.
