Chloe didn't have time to escape. She yelped as the fireball sent her flying back, "Nice one." she said tightly, getting up to her feet.

He bowed dramatically. "Wanna head over now?" Colin offered her a hand.

"Yeah," Chloe nodded, taking his hand as she got up to her feet, "We may need Devon to take part, the more I think about it. Fire vs Fire with Reagan and Jade may not work. No offense, Jade."

"We might all end up burnt black by the end," Colin added.

"True," Chloe said, leading the way to the dueling area, "Let's just hope we beat those losers."

"Beat them and make sure they never come back here," he grumbled.

Chloe nodded, "Yeah," she smiled slightly as she led him towards the field where the dueling took place. She froze, seeing Fang talking to Zev and Reagan.

Colin frowned. "What is he doing? He's not murdering them."

Chloe blinked, watching as Fang turned and smirked at them, "Sorry guys, I decided to join the winning team, I've just had enough of you guys."

Colin opened and closed his mouth several times before scowling. "Come again?"

"Don't you get it, Colin? I'm done with you guys . Especially you, you're too clingy." He said, crossing his arms, "I look forward to finally facing you guys."

"Well, thanks for the head's up, man. Really appreciate it," he retorted, winking sardonically. He was still a little suspicious about the whole situation.

"Anytime." Kris smirked, moving back to his team.
"Something doesn't seem right," Chloe frowned, crossing her arms.

"No, no it doesn't," he agreed. "What'd you do to him?" Colin demanded, advancing on Kris.

Kris smirked at him, crossing his arms, "Nothing, he just came to us wanting to join us. I can't be possessing him."
"It's true," Zev said, "He can only possess animals, not humans."
"Just face it, Colin," The controlled Fang said, crossing his arms, "I've moved on."

"Hmm. Except you're not physically capable of moving on that easily without help." His fingers morphed into claws, and his eyes turned yellow and slitted. "So either you tell me what you did to him and how, or rip your lungs out through your chest, deal?" he snarled, still disturbingly calm and menacing.

"Colin," Fang snapped, moving in the way, "I'm sick of you just always getting in the way. I mean, how can I even trust you when you have this past with an evil man?" he forced out, unable to hold back the information with Kris's control, "I've had enough."

"Hmm. Have you forgot who your brother is? He's not exactly man of the year either. Now get out of the way," he hissed.

Fang smirked at him before turning to the others.
"This is working perfectly." Kris grinned wickedly.
"Hey, Colin . . " Chloe said, following after him, concerned.

Colin retracted his claws and stepped back, still seething and growling low in his throat. He returned to Chloe's side, blinking his eyes back to normal.

"I'm sorry about how Fang is acting." she sighed, "He'll come back to his senses." she looked over to Devon, "Wanna join us in kicking some butt?"

Colin shoved his hands in his pockets. "Something's still not right. That wasn't Fang talking. Not really."
"Definitely," Devon replied, grinning.

"Hopefully it wasn't but . . " Chloe hesitated, "I've never seen Kris control humans before." she then turned to Devon and grinned, "Good."

"But Fang's not human all the time," he murmured mostly to himself.
"Let's go kick some ass." Devon grinned wickedly. "Or electrocute some asses, in my case."

"Let's do this." Chloe grinned, looking over as Balthasar walked over, with a group of spectators behind him.
"Let's get the duel started!" he declared
