Faith's Edge RP

Colin focused his anger and frustration into the impending fight. His fingers grew and curved into claws as the black and blue scales inched up his wrists and arms.

The two teams met at the center of the small, roped in arena, "The first team to lose all members loses. Kris, your team is outnumbering Chloe's, drop a member."
"I will drop out then," Kris said, jumping over the rope and smirked.
"Then let's begin!" Balthasar declared.

Colin watched him leave, his suspicion growing, but he shrugged it off and focused on Reagan. He'd focus on her.
"Alright, watch out for me, OK?" Devon murmured.
"We'll take care of you, don't worry," Colin assured, gripping his shoulder.

"We've gotcha." Chloe assured.
"Ready, go!" Balthasar yelled, and the fighting started. Fang ran towards Chloe, who encased herself in a bright light, making him stagger back.
Zev closed his eyes, forcing together a bunch of rocks until they made a golem and sent it towards Devon.

Devon shifted, centering himself in front of the golem. A burst of electricity split the rocks in half.
Colin flipped over the wall of fire coming from Reagan. He lashed at her with his claws. She leaned back, dodged, and lunged forward again.

Zev clicked his tongue before bringing life to the grass beneath Devon, trying to ensnare him.
Chloe jumped back, now encased in armor as she slashed at Fang with a sword made of pure light. Fang growled and pounced at her, pinning her underneath her as he ripped at her skin.

Colin sent a pillar of fire at Fang then at Reagan as she attacked. Colin danced backwards and wings unfurled from his shoulder blades.
Devon grunted and collapsed to his knees. He pressed both palms against the ground. A burst of electricity shook the ground under him, frying and killing the grass ensnaring him. He glided forward, thin bolts of lightning flickering around his fingers.

Fang snarled, stumbling backwards, "Reagan, you take the girl, I want to take down Colin."
Zev swore under his breath before bringing life to a nearby tree that unrooted itself and tumbled down towards Devon.

Colin paled for a moment but lowered into a crouch, clicking his claws against each other.
Reagan nodded and shifted directions. A line of white-hot fire lanced in Chloe's direction.
Devon ducked and rolled away and back to his feet. He whirled, listening for Zev. He blocked every other noise and focused on the boy's breathing and voice.

Fang ran towards him aiming to pounce on him and pin him down to the ground.
Chloe danced out of the way, sending shards of light towards Reagan.
Zev forced the roots of the surrounding trees to encase Devon's hands to try and make him unable to use his magic.

Colin rolled under him and glided to his feet. A massive orange and blue fireball exploded from his mouth, and it was on a collision course with Kris.
Reagan waved her arm. The wall of fire absorbed the light. With a push, the flames surged towards her.
Devon grunted and thrashed his arms, fighting to get free. He snarled, straining as hard as he could without hurting himself.

Kris grunted, staggering back while Fang blinked, "W-what?" he muttered, shaking his head.
"I've had enough of you." She said, creating a shield of light and attempted to slam it against her head to knock her out.
"It's over." he muttered, forcing the roots to hit back down to the ground, trying to knock him out.

Colin gripped his shoulder briefly before turning to Devon. He hooked his claws in Zev's shoulders and slammed him to the ground. He burned the roots away from Devon with a wave of her hand.
Reagan grunted and collapsed to the ground, eyes rolled back into her head.

Zev released a cry before he was slammed into the ground, knocked out cold.
Fang shook his head until Kris regain control and he went after Colin once again.

Colin whirled and jumped out of the way. He rolled to his feet, his wings retracting into his back. Colin sprinted for Kris, smoke trailing from his mouth and claws pulled back for attack.

Chloe ran forward, distracting Fang as Kris stumbled back, "I'm not the one fighting, idiot!" he snapped.

"No, but you're controlling him. I don't know how, but there's no other option," he snarled, another round of fire bursting from his mouth.
Devon grabbed Fang by the arms and pulled him back. "Come on, Fang, sober up. Look at who you're attacking."

Kris grunted as the impact sent him into a tree, knocking him out.
Fang continued to struggle until Kris's control was released and he fell to his knees, passed out.
"Seems Kris's team is out, Chloe's team wins."
"Yay!" she cheered.

Colin staggered backwards, panting. He knelt down next to Fang and lied him on his back. He rested one hand Fang's chest, shaking him lightly. "Can you hear me, man?"
Devon grinned at Chloe before kneeling down across from Colin.

Fang opened his eyes, looking up, disoriented. He was able to make out Colin and smiled, lifting his head up and put his lips to his.
"Cute!" Chloe gushed.

Colin blinked in complete shock for half a second before wrapping one hand around the back of his neck. He closed his eyes and smiled against his lips. Colin pressed his forehead against Fang's, breaking the kiss. "So . . . you thought about it?"
Devon grinned. "Enough talking. Kiss."
Colin shoved him over.

"Yeah . . I did." he said, closing his eyes, content, "Let's give it a try."
"We should leave the lovebirds alone." Chloe said, and looked to the crowd, "C'mon people, nothing to see here!"

Colin nodded. "Fair enough." He smiled, relieved and excited. "But, on a more serious note, are you alright?"
Devon grinned and got to his feet, helping Chloe escort the crowd away.

"I'm fine, I'm sorry I tried to hurt you though," he said, ashamed.
"They're going to be cute together." Chloe gushed.

"You know, I'm starting to get used to it," he joked with a twisted smile. "Come on." He got to his feet and held his hand out to Fang.
Devon beamed. "Yes, yes they are. Colin literally makes up for everything Fang lacks. And vice versa."
