"Seven hells! Fine. You'll never leave me alone if I don't." He jogged after Fang, his stomach churning with nerves.

(I can't be on long. My mom's staying at the hospital over night and she has the charger.)

"Good luck!" she called, "Young love is so cute," she sighed.
Fang walked back towards the reconstruction zone, his hands in his pockets.

(I know! Perfect timing, right?)

Colin jogged until he spotted Fang a few yards away. "Hey Fang! Can I, uh, talk to you about something?"

Fang looked over at him, raising an eyebrow, "What is it, Colin?"

(It's fantastic.)

"OK, we're best friends. Everyone knows that. But, ah, what if," he rubbed the back of his neck, "we could be something . . . more?"

Fang blinked at him, "More as in . . . ?" he felt himself redden a bit as he put his hands into his pants pocket.

"You know what, forget it." He looked away, his own face reddening. He closed his eyes and shook his head. "I'm sorry. I should've just kept it to myself."

"Hey," Fang said, putting a hand on the side of Colin's head and moved his head back so he was looking at him, "Tell me." he said, a small smile on his face, "You can't just leave me hanging like that."

Colin met his eyes. He hesitated before taking Fang's neck between his hands. He kissed Fang desperately, putting everything he couldn't say into that one gesture.

Fang's eyes widened, stiffening at first from surprise before pulling Colin closer to him and returned the kiss, his eyes closing.

Relief coursed through him when Fang didn't pull away in complete horror. Colin pulled back, hands still cradling Fang's neck. He raised an eyebrow. "So . . . um," he smiled sheepishly. "I hope that answered your question."

Fang blinked at him for a moment before looking away, reddening a bit. It's not like he hadn't thought of the two of them together like this, but . . . He looked hesitated, taking a step back, "Not that it wasn't . . .nice . .it was just sudden, I need time to process this." he said, breathless.

Colin nodded. He expected that. "Right. OK. I know." He stepped back and looked down at his hands. "I'm gonna go back to training. See ya." He offered a little smile and turned to head back to Chloe and Jade.

Fang watched him go and then sighed, shaking his head, still surprised by what had occurred. He walked towards the construction zone, hands in his pockets. "What if this is wrong?" he sighed.

Chloe sent shards of light into a tree while she waited for Colin to come back, practically bouncing in anticipation.

Colin smiled to himself, hands in his pockets. Despite Fang's hesitance, he was glad he did it. He spotted Chloe and smiled at her.

"You're smiling! I'm assuming things went well!" Chloe grinned as she spotted him.

"So, the loser arrives." Kris said as Fang neared the Reconstruction zone.
Fang narrowed his eyes, not in the mood, "Go away."
"I just wanted you to know how I'm going to beat your friend Colin to a pulp. We're all going after him first." he smirked.
"Don't you dare." Fang snarled, fangs barred.
"Try and stop me." he challenged.

"Well . . . I kissed him and he didn't run away in horror. Kissed me back, actually, but you know how he's not good at the whole emotion thing so he needs some time to, ah, think about it," he explained, jogging over.

"That's so cute!" Chloe gushed, "He must like you if he kissed you back!"

Without thinking, Fang morphed into a wolf, snarling at Kris. He started to jump at him but fell back into the ground, yelping as Kris entered his body. He tried his best to fight it off, but Kris's magic was too strong.

He beamed at that. "I hope so. Otherwise, I'm not sure how high the level of awkwardness would be." He twisted a grin. "Now attack me. Let's get some more practicing in."

"Alright," Chloe grinned, creating dulled shards of light and hurled them towards Colin in rapid aim.

Fang's body morphed back into human as he stood back up, a smirk on his face, "Seems that I can have him in his human form too, good." his voice was silky then usually, "Looks like your team is done with, Fang."

Scaled crawled up Colin's arms. He deflected the shards with the lizard-like armor. Colin sprinted forward, a fireball exploding from his mouth as he ran.

"Well, now that Fang's our little b*tch, this should get even more interesting." Reagan grinned wickedly as she spoke.

Chloe disappeared in a blinding light as armor encased her body. She jumped up, the flames of the fireball just touching her feet as she aimed a hard kick towards him.

"Indeed," Kris said, turning to her with a smirk, "It'll distress the other team as well."
"Great plan, Kris." Zev praised.

Her foot struck Colin's stomach, making him grunt and stagger backwards. He recovered quickly and jabbed at her with his claws.

"I'm actually very impressed," Reagan admitted. "Poor Colin will be so traumatized"

Chloe staggered back a bit, though her metal suit took in most of the damage, "Nice try." she smirked, creating a whip of light and flicked it towards him.

"Good, that's what I was aiming for." Kris grinned, "Let's get to the duel, I want to see their faces when they see Fang on a different team."

He laughed and leaned back. The whip flicked harmlessly over him. As he straightened, another fireball burst from his mouth.

"Lead the way," she invited, gesturing him forward.
