"Nice man." Alaric smiled faintly before going into the room, seeing Gen asleep on the bed. He felt a bit better seeing that she was in better condition. Her wound was wrapped up and she looked like she was in less pain.
"So, I guess this means we'll be staying the night."

"Guess so." Mercy said, collapsing to the floor against the wall with a tired sigh.

"Get some rest, I'll stay up and keep watch to make sure none of Sebastian's lackeys followed us." Alaric offered.

"You're going to need sleep too." Mercy protested, though she couldn't contain a small yawn.

"I'm use to pulling all nighters." he insisted with a charming smile, "I can sleep after I get chewed out by Lacie."

"You're going to want to have your wits about you for that." Mercy chuckled "Wake me up if you get too tired. We don't want to be surprised in the middle of the night because you fell asleep." she joked

"Right, got it." Alaric nodded, "sleep well, Lacie." he said and grabbed a chair and dragged it over towards the door before sitting down on it.

"Night." Mercy said, curling up in a ball with another, larger yawn. Sleep came almost immediately, and she drifted of into her subconscious.

Alaric stayed wide awake all night, able to stay on guard. He was use to staying up late during missions, it just came naturally. He waited patiently for morning to come.

Mercy slept relatively peacefully, and she was glad for that when she woke up right as the sun was beginning to rise. She sat up and stretched out all the kinks she'd acquired from sleeping curled up on the floor.
"Morning" she said to Alaric

"Morning." Alaric said to Mercy with a slightly tired smile. He glanced over at Gen who was still asleep, "We'll have to wake her up, we've spent too much time here."

"Agreed." Mercy said, standing up and dusting off her dress. She walked over to the bed and placed a hand gently on Gen's uninjured shoulder.
"Gen." she said

Gen's eyes fluttered open. She looked around the room and her eyes widened, springing up, "Where am I?" she asked, eyes wide.

((I'm heading off to bed, night~))

"A little hotel in a town not too far from Amaticia." Mercy replied calmly

(nighty night!)

Gen forced herself to calm down as she glanced around the room, taking in her environment. She then glanced at her bandaged wound and laid back down, "Thank you guys for getting me here." she said with a faint smile.
"Not a problem, but for now we've gotta get going." Alaric said, getting to his feet.

Mercy nodded in agreement "Like I said, we aren't far. We really should get a move on."

"Right." Gen said, slowly getting up, "Let's get a move on then."
"If we're lucky, we may make it back by night." Alaric said, heading towards the door.

"It would be nice to be lucky for once." Mercy said with a half grin, following Alaric out the door.

Gen followed after them quietly, not really up for any conversation.
"So," Alaric said, tucking his arms behind his head, "any other stops you guys want to make?"

"I'd like to delay seeing Lacie as long as possible, but we really should just get back probably." Mercy replied

(I have to go because I have to babysit, but I should be on later.)

"So would I, but better go and meet my fate." Alaric joked lightly, though he was a bit afraid to meet his leader and tell her his failure.

"Dum dum dum dum." Mercy said with a chuckle

Alaric laughed lightly before leading the way towards the Outcast's hideout. He was anxious the whole way, hating the thought of dealing with Lacie's wrath.

Mercy walked behind Alaric, keeping an eye on Gen and the surroundings.

Gen stayed silent, thinking over thoughts the whole way. Her mind wandered to the Sebastian character. She noticed something . . . off about him that made her uneasy with suspicion. She barely noticed the time passing by.
