Isabella helped him. "Easy with that shoulder. Don't want it getting worse."

Levi turned a corner and spotted Gen. She had a gun. He closed his eyes, guilt gnawing at his mind and heart. She was back to normal. Part of him was relieved that she was Gen again, and another part of him missed the fake Gen - the one that loved him.

"Right," he said with a small smile, grunting as they finally got it to open. He pulled himself out then offered a hand to Isabella, "Seems like we're in the cellar." he said quietly.

Gen turned and noticed Levi, blinking, "Levi," she said, full of relief until she blinked, remembering what he had done to her and took a step back, her hands tightening around the gun's hilt.

"Looks like." She took his hand with a grateful smile.

He met her eyes for just a second. "I'm sorry, Gen," he said just loud enough for her to hear. "I love you, but I'm sorry. Good bye."

"Let's finish this once and for all." Alaric smiled, "Together."

"Levi, wait." Gen said, moving towards him, "Stay here and make things right," she begged quietly, "I thought you wanted us to be together."

She nodded once, adrenaline shooting through her. Excitement, nervousness, and anticipation accelerated her thoughts. "Let's do this."

Levi backed up, smiling brokenly. "I do. More than anything. But . . . you deserve better. I'll be banned or killed anyway for what I've done. I might still live this way. I'm sorry." He turned and disappeared around a corner.

Alaric flashed a grin at her and ran through the cellar, pistol in hand and ready to shoot, "We'll have to deal with Catherine, Victoria, Vincent and Alexander, they'll be the hardest."

"Levi!" Gen called after him but stopped herself, a few tears stinging in her eyes. It's better this way, he's not the man I fell in love with anymore. She told herself and moved towards the battlefield.

Isabella exhaled, knives in hand. "Ready?"

Levi scaled the gates leading out of the city. He dropped down on the other side without an idea of where to go from here. He sighed and divorced himself of all emotion. It would only make him feel worse. Levi walked a few steps before taking off at a dead sprint, growing more and more desperate to get away.

Alaric nodded, "Yeah," he kicked open the door and shot at the two soldier's waiting outside, hitting them both in the chest. He turned to look at Isabella for a moment before running towards the main hall.

Isabella followed right on his heels, keeping an eye out for any oncoming soldiers.

Alaric glanced back over at her, "Seems like someone has already been through here and cleared out most of the soldiers."

"Remind me to find them and thank them later." She turned a corner. "Maybe they bumped off Vincent and Catherine, too?"

"That's wishful thinking." he said, slowing down as they reached the corner as the girl's familiar voice filtered through, "But seems like she's in the main room ordering soldiers." he sighed.

"Well, it was a nice thought." Isabella smiled grimly and inched towards the voices.

"I suppose we should get this started." he said, moving away from the corner, guns blazing as he shot at the small group of soldier's lined up.
"Kill them!" Catherine ordered shrilly.

Isabella moved gracefully and easily through the crowd of attacking soldiers. She slashed at anyone who moved with practiced form and skill.

Catherine tensed up, and begun to retreat toward the door.
"Get her, Isabella, I'll hold these guys off." Alaric called, shooting at the stray soldiers.

She nodded once. Isabella took off after Catherine, both knives pulled back and ready to strike.

Catherine turned around and pulled out her gun, fumbling with the trigger as she aimed a shot towards her.

The bullet missed her by half a foot. Isabella smirked. She skidded to a stop, slashing at Catherine's neck in the same movement.

Catherine let out a scream that turned into a gurgle as she fell to her knees and collapsed, blood dripping from her neck.
"Nice going," Alaric said, finishing off the last soldier.

Isabella exhaled shakily as Catherine slid to the floor. Blood stained Isabella's fingers and clothes. "Come on."

Alaric nodded, "One down, three more to go." he said, running up the stairs.

Isabella followed right on his heels, all her senses on hyper-alert due to the adrenaline.

Alaric slowed down as they reached the top of the staircase, hearing footsteps coming their way. He turned the corner, throwing a knife at the first soldier he saw and fell to his knees. He perked up, seeing Stella being carried by the group of soldiers.

"Stella?" She hesitated. "Should we help her or take care of the others first?"
