Alaric nodded, frowning though, "I think that's an excellent idea. What do you think, dear?"

Ash hesitated before looking back at him, "I'm sorry that I can ruin fun sometimes." he said quietly, thinking about what Finn said.

"I think it's perfect." She sighed. "He's been cruel to Ash lately. The boy needs to learn more about him."

Jennings frowned. "What're you talking about?"

"Alright then, it's settled, let's go talk to our son." He said, looking over at Isabella.

"It's just . ." he hesitated, "Finn said that I ruin the fun and I just feel bad."

Isabella nodded. "Thank you, Israel."
He bowed his head. "I was in Ash's place once. I know how it feels." He dismissed himself.

"Finn's stupid. Ignore him. You don't ruin anyone's fun."

Alaric smiled sadly at him as he left then looked over at Isabella, "He's probably in his room, let's go." he said and took her hand.

"Are you sure?" Ash asked, looking unsure.

She took it and followed him. "What are we going to do with that boy?"

"Of course I'm sure! Now where's that game?"

"I don't know." He sighed, "but I blame you." He teases lightly.

"In the closet. " Ash coughed and ran and pulled out the boxed game.

Isabella laughed. "Fair enough."

Jennings plopped down on the floor.

Alaric chuckled, leading her up the stairs to Finn's room. He knocked before opening the door, seeing their son on the edge of his bed.
"We need to talk." He said, his voice a bit stern and Finn looked up and paled.

Ash opened up the game, "It's one where you chose a hero and go through a story which are the spaces." He smiled, "Uncle Ben said it was lots of fun."

"Israel told us what happened," Isabella said, her voice gentler. "And we agreed to the punishment."

"You be the knight," he said, handing the muscular knight to Ash.

"What!?" Finn stared, "But mom!" he complained, "I don't want to!"

Ash beamed, "Okay." He nodded, taking the piece and put it over at the start.

"I don't want to hear it. You need to learn the struggles he has to do with. If you knew how hard he has it, you'll be less likely to torment him about it. You will do it, and you will be happy about it. Understood?" she said sternly.

"I'll be the . . . archer." He picked up the piece and put it next to the knight. "How do we start?"

Finn opened his mouth to protest but released a heavy sigh, "Okay."
Alaric ruffled his hair, "It'll be a good thing for you."
"Whatever." he grumbled.

"Okay, well." he looked over at the directions, "You roll the die to advance forward." he said, taking the dice in his hand and tossed it onto the board, watching as it landed on three. He went forward then took a card, "Castle gets burned by a fire, lose a turn." he sighed, "Just my luck." he said sadly.

"And Jennings will love you for it. You want to keep him as a friend, right?"

Jennings patted his shoulder. "A knight doesn't need a castle. He's too busy saving everyone else from evil." He beamed at him and rolled a four. "Captured by bandits. Go back two spaces." He moved his piece back. "Your turn!"

"Of course!" Finn nodded.
"Then this should be no problem then for you." Alaric smiled.

"Right." he smiled widely and took the dice and rolled a two. He picked up his card, "Saved the town, go forward four spaces." he grinned widely, moving his piece forward.

Isabella grinned. "Maybe you'll even learn to like Ash. You've never tried before."

"See. I told you," Jennings said, poking his cheek. He rolled and picked a card. "Saved the princess from a dragon. Take another turn. Cool." He rolled a one and chose another card. "Lost an arm. Go back to the beginning. DANG IT!"

Finn didn't answer, he just pouted and looked down at the ground.
"No pouting." Alaric said as he left the bedroom.

"Awh, I'm sorry." He said, giving his brother a side hug, "You'll still be the best archer though." he grinned widely and rolled a two. "Failed to save the village from a troll, go back three spaces." he sighed, moving back.

"Pout and you'll have the punishment for another day," Isabella said, following him.

"With one arm?" he giggled. "Well, you're still beating me." He rolled and chose a card. "Won a duel. Go ahead two spaces." He moved his one-armed archer ahead.

"Levi, find Colton and get your men. We're heading out," Adonis said to his sidekick.
"Yes, your Grace." He slipped from the room and found Colton where he usually was at the armory. He was working on a sword for himself. "Time to go. Get yourself cleaned up and changed."
He nodded and wiped the sweat from his brow. "Coming."
Levi stepped out to the yard where his men - all dressed in dark green and black - were training. Even Levi was scared of their abilities. "Time to go, men."

Finn sighed, crossing his arms as the two left and closed the door.
"He can be such a handful." Alaric sighed, "Let's go get ready for the meeting."

"Well, yeah!" Ash beamed, "Because you're Jennings, you can do anything!" he said and rolled before taking a card, "Defeat a demon, go forward three spaces." he grinned, moving forward and got excited as he neared the finish space.

"Something else he gets from me, no doubt," she joked but nodded. "Right. Who all do you want there with you?"

Jennings blushed and smiled humbly at his praise. "Except winning a game. You're way ahead!" He rolled and chose a card anyway. "Executed for treason. Lose two turns. WHAT?"

"Of course it's from you." He teased lightly, "I'd like you there, of course, Israel, Gen and Claudia."

Ash looked at him, feeling sorry, "We can just ignore it if you'd like." he offered with a smile, "Since you're already far behind."

"Alright. I'll go find them. Go make yourself presentable." She kissed his cheek swiftly before trotting away.

"No, no. Go ahead. My one-armed, dead archer will wait." He giggled at his own struggle.

Alaric watched as she went with a smile before heading into his room, changing into black slacks, a white collared long sleeved shirt and a black vest.

"Okay." Ash smiled, rolling and pulled a card, "Ended a curse, go forward three spaces." he squealed excitedly as he was only one space away from winning.

Claudia sat outside at the courtyard, waiting for Colton and his father to arrive. There was a bit of anxiety coursing through her.

Isabella found Israel dueling with some of the new soldiers outside. "Israel, Alaric wants you at the meeting."
He nodded to the soldier and headed over. "I'll get ready then."
"Thank you." She smiled her thanks before heading off to find Gen.

Jennings smiled. "My poor archer." He rolled and pulled a card. "Saved the kingdom from an invading army. Move ahead 12 spaces. Yeah!" He ended up three paces behind Ash.

Gen sat out at the garden, looking thoughtfully at the stream that ran through it. She released a tired sigh, unable to get Levi out of her mind.

"Wow! Nice." Ash smiled, rolling and picked up a card, "Injure self in battle, lose a turn. Dangit." he sighed.
