Outcasts RP

Vincent turned around, seeing that Mercy was chasing him. He pulled out a knife from his belt and hurled it towards her, though his aim was off from a last second of hesitation.

Mercy was able to dodge the knife fairly easily, as the aim was off. She continued to run after him, Stella was right, this could be her last chance to get him.

He continued to run, heading towards Alexander's quarters. Part of him wanted to stop running, but he urged himself to move on. He hated the feeling he got when around Mercy, it made him feel different and unsure.

"Ben wait!" Mercy said, silently cursing to herself as she followed him. He was faster than her, which wasn't helping with the whole trying to catch him thing.

He stopped in his tracks at the sound of his old name, his body shook as he fell to his knees, "Who the hell am I?!"

"Here, I've got it," Isabella said, pushing the bookcase the rest of the way.

Mercy caught up to him and knelt down next to him. Reaching out tentatively, she gently placed her palm against his cheek. "You know who you are." she said softly. Telling him over and over wouldn't do any good, he had to realize it for himself.

"Thanks," Alaric said, a bit out of breath, he looked over at the ground as he took a step back onto something metal, "A trap door?" he frowned, opening it up, "It may be a tunnel that can lead us closer to the estate."

He looked at her, "I don't. Am I Sebastian, am I Benjamin? Am I anyone?"

"You're certainly someone, I can tell you that." Mercy replied with a ghost of a smile "And I happen to think you're Benjamin too."

"I am a fan of trap doors. Let's try it," Isabella said, following him.

Alaric nodded, shooting one more glance at Gen before heading down the ladder, "Let's get this over with."

"I don't even know who he is," he admitted sadly.

"You'll remember." Mercy replied, heart aching for him.

"Right after you," she replied, following him down.

"What if I can't?" he said quietly, looking a bit frightened.

Alaric led the way through, hearing the sounds of war above him, "I hope everyone's alright."

Stella grunted as she was pinned against the wall, soldier's guns trained on her. "Alexander wants her in the cells." a head soldier said and they started to carry her away as she attempted to squirm away.

"You can." Mercy said encouragingly "And besides, I'll help you."

"How can I trust you? You're my enemy, or are you?" he hesitated, "I don't even know who you are."

"I'm not your enemy, I'm Mercy." she replied "And you can trust me because well, I'm sort of in love with you." she said, glancing uncomfortably at the ground as she stated the last part.

"I hope so, too," she said quietly - her voice small and shockingly timid.

Israel jumped back into the fight as Levi disappeared completely from sight. He sighed and threw himself into a group of soldiers.

"What? I thought you wanted to kill me." he stared.

Alaric put a hand on her shoulder, "We can do this," he said, trying to encourage her.

"Not you." Mercy shook her head

(I've gotta go. I might get on tomorrow morning. I'm sorry guys)

"Then who?" he asked quietly, "Do I want him dead too?"

She touched his hand and smiled. "I know. Thanks, Alaric."

Alaric flashed a smile before the reached the end of the tunnel and there was another ladder up, "I wonder if these are tunnels servants use to get to the Estate." he muttered idly, starting to climb up.

Gen blinked as she opened her eyes, disoriented. She started to get up to her feet, her head spinning. Her memories were back in tact, but it all was a bit fuzzy, "Where am I?" she frowned, moving towards the barricaded door and started to move the bookcase.

"It would make sense. I wonder how often they're used," she wondered idly.

"Probably not that much," he said, tightly, trying to push open the covering blocking the way out, "I can see why, this place is a mess."

Gen stumbled out of the place, wincing as the sounds of gunshots and screams filled the air. What's happening? She frowned, grabbing a gun off of a fallen soldier and looked for anyone she recognized.
