Catherine walked down the hall, stopping as Vincent asked, "Trouble in Paradise?"
She frowned, "I'm losing him, all because of that girl, who got out of her room, by the way," she glared.
"Don't look at me."
"You were on guard duty."

Stella took it and followed Israel back to camp.

"But --"
"No, Allen," Alaric snapped, "drop it.'
"But I can help!"
"No!"

Israel led the way up the ladder. He found Isabella directing a group of soldiers.
"Hey there. Oh, so this is your lady friend. I'm Isabella," she introduced, holding out her hand to Stella.

"So, you aren't going to let me fight are you?" Jack asked, surprising her by his knowledge of what was going on
"I said 13, maybe, you're still 10 years old young man." Mercy teased with a tired smile "There are other things you can do to help."

Stella looked at her for a moment before moving her blonde hair out of her purple eyes, "I'm Stella, it's a pleasure."

"Stella. Well, it's an honor to meet you. Israel, I need you to pack as many medical supplies as we can carry."
"Yes ma'am," he replied, turning to Stella. "Want to come help?"

"Sure." she smiled, following after him.
Alaric walked up to Isabella,"Anything you.need?"

Mercy left Jack but the exit of the hideout to search for Alaric or Isabelle, to see if there was anything she could do. She found them talking and waved, walking over.

"Yeah, can the two of you send all the men that come this way down to the trucks. I need to get my brother."

Israel jogged to the infirmary and sat two leather duffel bags down on the counter. "We need bandages, painkillers, tournequets," he grabbed a bone saw, "fever reducers, adrenaline shots, anesthetic, vials, needles, and stethoscopes. Most of it should be lableled."

"Got it," Alaric nodded, heading off to do his task.

"Got it," Stella nodded, looking through the shelves for each item.

Isabella met Asa in his room. "We're going away for a little while."
"I know. Scott told me. Are we going to be OK?"
"Of course we are. We just need to leave this city for a bit."
"OK. I'll pack my things."
She kissed the top of his head. "Good boy."

Israel packed one bag full of supplies, zipped it up, and set it aside.

Mercy followed after Alaric quietly.

"I think I've got it all," Stella said, putting the rest of the medicine into the duffle bag.

Alaric headed towards the men, hands in his pocket, his mind heavy with the upcoming battle.

Gen opened her eyes, the emotional exhaustion from earlier. The anger still burned inside of her, making her feel sick.

Mercy squeezed her eyes shut for a moment as she walked, taking a deep breathe. This was something big, they'd been waiting for this, but it was also terrifying.

"Alright, let's head out to the trucks." He slung one bag over his shoulder and smiled down at her. "Ready for this?"

Isabella jogged down the stairs, Asa's hand in hers. "I'll take you to Scott's car, alright?"

Stella hesitated a moment before looking at him and nodded, "Yeah, I'm ready," she said with a faint smile.

"All of you, get ready to board the truck," Alaric announced to the group of rebels he rounded up and they obeyed, heading in the direction of the trucks, "Huh, that wasn't so bad."

"Alright. Let's do this." He led the way out to the supply truck and set the bag down in the back.

Asa settled down in the passenger seat.
"Stay here until Scott gets here, alright?"
He nodded. "Alright."
"Good. I'll be back." She jogged back inside to meet Alaric.

"Rather easy actually." Mercy said from behind Alaric

"Right," Stella nodded, her eyes looking towards the ground. She was afraid to go against her family.

"Right, I thought they'd be difficult."

Israel tilted her head back and kissed her forehead. "Everything will work out. I promise."

Isabella found Alaric and Mercy. "Everything going smoothly?"

"Very." Mercy replied with a nod

"I'm putting my faith in you." Stella said, looking up at him sadly.

"Yeah," Alaric agreed, "We should be all set."

"Well, I'm told I'm pretty reliable, so I suppose you're in good hands."

"Great. Go ahead and get down to the cars. I'll round up the strays."

"Alright." Mercy said with a nod. Mercy motioned for Jack to come over, and she headed over to the cars with him.

"Yeah," Stella smiled, kissing him on the cheek.

"Alright," Alaric nodded, rounding up his two siblings before heading to the car.

Catherine strolled by Levi's room again, "Are you still thinking?" she asked, sounding concerned.

Israel led her to the car they'd be riding in and settled down onto a bench seat.

Isabella directed all the strays to their assigned cars before meeting Asa and Scott by the truck. "Alright, time to move out."
