"Wait, but isn't he dead?" Alaric frowned, confused.

"Yes..." Mercy said, though it sounded uncertain. The idea had wedged itself in her mind, that he might be alive. She hadn't been able to actually be certain that day...

Alaric hesitated before putting a hand on Mercy's shoulder, "He may not be Ben, he may just be a lot like him." he said softly.

"I know, I know it's crazy, but his voice..." Mercy trailed off again. This was stupid of her, getting her hopes up over nothing like this.

Alaric looked at her sadly, "I just don't want you to get your hopes up about this."

"I know." Mercy said with a sigh.

"Let's head back, before Lacie sends anyone after us." Alaric suggested

"Good idea." Mercy nodded, though she wished she could go back. Jack was more important though, she determined resolutely.

"We can always try to find out more about Sebastian later on." He smiled slightly.

"You're right." Mercy said, returning a small smile as she walked.

"At least we got our siblings back." Alaric said, ruffling Allen's hair.

"Yeah, I guess that's a good thing." Mercy teased, looking down at Jack
"Hey!" he replied indignantly.

Alaric chuckled at them and continued forward, looking forward to go to their new home.

"So where is this place Mercy?" Jack asked her, walking beside her.
"Oh, you'll see, it's really cool." Mercy said with a mysterious grin.

"I dont think I'll like this place." Mimi said, making a face.
"Trust me, you'll all adore it."

"It's like living in a tree house." Mercy said, still grinning

"Wait, is it actually in a tree?" Allen blinked.
"You'll see." Alaric chuckled.

"Tell us!" jack said, looking at Mercy avidly
"You'll see in a little, calm down." Mercy laughed softly

"Kids, so eager," Alaric joked.
"Whatever," Allen rolled his eyes, crossing his arms.

Levi stepped back, only suffering from a few cuts. His stitches had reopened in spots. Blood soaked through his shirt. He barely felt it. A dozen men lied dead or dying on the floor. He sighed and stumbled out of the bar. He glared at Catherine. "Satisfied?"

"Exteremly," She winked. It shocked her he would do this just for one girl, "Just know, you saved some innocent people today who were kept hostage by that group."

"Hostages?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "What hostages?"

"They're most likely still in the basement." Catherine said idly before looking over at Levi, "These guys are messed up, they try and get attention to Alexander by killing off citizens."

Gen's eyes fluttered open as she woke up after a short sleep. She stretched her body, and immediately regretted it as her wounds started to flare up, "Dammit." she hissed in pain.

"Really?" Levi asked, skeptical. "Prove it. Show me the hostages."

"Shh, you're alright," George soothed, rubbing a cooling oil over the inflamed skin around the worst of the wounds. He wrapped those he could in cloth and smiled sadly. "I'm sorry you got mixed up in this."

"Of course," Catherine nodded, leading him downstairs to the basement of the bar. In a corner, there was a group of ten people, mostly made up of women, tied up and whose mouths were covered to prevent talking. "See, is that enough proof for ya?"

Gen forced a small smile, "It happens, comes with the life style I suppose." she inhaled sharply as he applied the oil onto the cuts.
