"Will you be able to contact your brother on your own, or would you like to send Vincent to go with you?" Alexander asked.

Gen looked away, ashamed of herself, "I know." she said quietly. She just wanted to be with Levi, the man she had been trying to find for over a year. She wanted nothing more than to be with him, but she understood his conflict.

"I can handle my brother. It's been a while since I've seen him," Victoria said, tracing patterns into the table. "It'll be nice to have a little family reunion."

"What do I do?" he murmured, burying his face in his hands for a few moments. "She had to have known this was coming. Israel must've told her about you." He smiled at Gen, unable to stop. "I'm in a bit of trouble, aren't I?"

"I'm sure it'll be absolutely pleasant." Alexander said, picking up his glass of red wine and took a sip of it.

Gen looked down at the ground, "You do whatever your heart tells you to do, Levi." she looked over at them, tears forming in her eyes, "I'm just a girl from your unknown past, while Isabella has been with you for a year, you remember her."

"We'll have a cup of tea, chat for a little while, and then I'll threaten to kill his little boy. It'll be marvelous."

"But you're not forgotten anymore. I know who are. My heart is telling me two different things at the moment." He reached over and wiped the tear away. "Please don't cry," he whispered.

"Sounds lovely, I hope you enjoy it, dear." Alexnader smiled.

Gen smiled sadly at him, "I'm just happy you're back." she said, her voice shaky, "You scared the hell out of me, I thought I lost you again."

"It'll be the highlight of my week."

"Oh, you won't get rid of me for a long time. I always seem to bounce back." He smiled crookedly.

"Would you like to stay the night, Aunt Victoria, or are you planning to leave now?" Vincent asked.

Gen smiled at him, "You always seem to." she agreed and embraced him in a hug, "It's good to have you back"

"I should be heading back. I appreciate the offer though, dearie."

Levi returned the hug, burying his face in her shoulder. "It's good to have you back, too. I didn't realize I missed you so much until now."

"Anytime, Aunt Victoria." he said and bowed his head, "Be safe."

Gen hugged him tighter, resting her head on his shoulder, "We have a lot of lost time to make up." she murmured.

"Thank you. To as well." She smiled at Catherine before kissing Alexander's cheek and getting to her feet.

"Yes, yes we do. But that can begin tomorrow. You look exhausted. You've had a trying day. Go get some sleep." He kissed her forehead and smiled.

Catherine rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, looking away.
"Have fun, darling." he said to her with a slight smile.

Gen nodded, she was tired but she didn't want to leave Levi's side. She forced herself to get up and she kissed Levi's cheek, "Alright, feel better." she smiled and headed towards the door.

"No doubt I will." She swept out of the room with all the grace of a swan and headed into the night.

Levi held onto her hand for as long as possible before she moved out of reach. He smiled, leaning back against the wall.
"What're you going to do?" Israel asked, coming in from the opposite door.
"How much did you hear?"
"Enough."
"I don't know yet. I love them both, if that's possible." He looked up at Israel. "Any advise?"
He laughed. "For this? I'm afraid that you're on your own."
"Great."

"God I hate her." Catherine muttered venomously.

Gen headed towards her room, still a little shocked at what had just happened. She opened the door to her room and collapsed onto the bed. "He's back." she smiled, tears streamed down her eyes, "I can't believe he's back."

Levi slid down onto his back, staring at the ceiling. There was one less hole in his heart. He had Gen back. "My Gen," he murmured and exchanged a grin with Israel.
"I'm glad you're happy, man."
"I am. I know I probably shouldn't be given the circumstance, but I am."
Israel gripped his shoulder. "Sleep, lover-boy. Your body needs it."
"I know."

Gen wiped away the tears and took off her black boots and striped from her dress and laid it on a chair. She went underneath the covers of the bed and closed her eyes. For the first time in a year, she was truly happy.

Mercy sighed as she walked through the hideout, the more she was up here, the easier it got, but she couldn't stop thinking about Jack, and Levi, and Gen.

Alaric saw Mercy as he went around the corner, "Hey, you're still up." he said, a little surprised.

"Yeah. I've just been wandering and thinking." Mercy replied

"Just get some sleep, alright?" Alaric smiled, "We've got a big day ahead of us." he patted her on the back before heading towards his room.

"I'll try." Mercy said with a small smile, heading toward her room.

Alaric looked behind his back at her and smiled. He went into his assigned room and fell into the bed, and was captured by sleep almost instantly.

Levi blinked against the sunlight leaking through the window. He stiffened, gritting his teeth against the pain. He resisted the urge to touch his chest.
Israel was at his side in an instant. "Yeah, the painkillers would've worn off by now. Hold on, I'll get you some stronger ones." He grabbed a bottle from the cabinet and a glass of water. He helped Levi sit up and handed him the glass and the pills.
He downed two and sighed. "Thanks," he rasped.

Mercy stretched as she sat up in bed. She'd crashed as soon as she'd hit the sheets, surprisingly. With a yawn she climbed out from under the covers, waking up.

Gen was already up and dressed. She stood near the window of her room, thinking about what happened last night. She still felt the touch of Levi's lip linger on her own. She released a shy, frustrated by the whole thing.

Isabella trotted down the stairs with Asa at her side. They appeared in the infirmary.
"Hey!" Levi greeted cheerfully. "Come here, big boy," he said, patting the bed next to him. Asa ran and plopped down next to him. He met Isabella's eyes. A pang of guilt flared in his mind. He managed to hide it from his expression.
She kissed him briefly. "You look better."
"Thanks to Israel."
"I'm here to help," he said from the counter.
