Outcasts RP

Mercy stretched and stood, figuring she'd just go to breakfast. She didn't know what the day had in store for her, and it would be better not to start it off hungry.

"So, when are you going?" he asked as he headed outside with his sister.
"Tonight, so we have a day." she smiled.
"Hopefully, unless Lacie decides to send me out again." He sighed.
"She better not." Mimi frowned, crossing her arms.
"She's the boss, Mimi, she can do what she wants." he chuckled at her nativity .

Mercy walked slowly, letting her mind wander. She wasn't in any hurry, and when jack got up she was sure she'd be running all over the place with him.

They walked to the woods in search of Allen. He looked around, "Allen? Are you here?"
There was a shuffle of the leaves as a body emerged from the woods.
"Allen?" he asked slowly, walking forward.
The body collapsed after a few more steps onto the leaf covered ground.
Alaric's eyes widened and he ran forward, sliding to his knees towards the body. To his demise, it was Allen after all, and he was covered in blood.
Alaric's heart raced as he gently, turned him over face up. His stomach wrenched as he saw that there were gashes on his chest and on his face.
Mimi caught up with Alaric and her eyes widened, "Allen!" she cried
Alaric gently picked him up, "We have to hurry to camp."
"What happened to him?" she said, following at his side, looking at her brother.
"I think an animal must've attacked him while he was hunting." he swore under his breath, "Idiot."

Mercy wondered why she hadn't seen Alaric yet, she thought he'd have been up by now. Shrugging it off she continued meandering toward the barn.

Alaric emerged out of the woods, hurrying towards the farm house.
"Mimi, run ahead and go get Ada." he ordered.
"Yes." she nodded, darting off towards the house.

Mercy noticed someone heading toward the farm house out of the woods. It looked like Alaric and he looked upset. Wondering what was up she headed back over to the farm house.

Alaric laid Allen on the porch, wearing a worried expression on his face. He unbuttoned Allen's white collared shirt to reveal the large gashes in his skin.
He waited for Mimi, growing more worried by the second.

Mercy walked up behind Alaric, seeing Allen.
"What happened?" she asked, shocked

"He was out practicing archery and must have pissed off some animal." he said, glancing at her shortly before looking back at his brother. He glanced up at the door as it opened and saw Ada come out with Mimi behind her.
"I told him not to ever practice alone." Ada sighed, pulling back her long dark brown hair as she started to patch up the cuts

"Whatever animal he pissed off...he really pissed it off." Mercy murmured, looking at the gashes. They were fairly deep.

"Give me some space." Ada said glancing at the two shortly before starting to clean Allen's wounds.
"No way, he's my brother." Alaric snapped, "I'm staying."
"I need space, Alaric, please leave." she said tightly, not even looking at him.
Alaric hesitated before heading into the house, seeing if he could get anything to help Allen. He couldn't believe Allen would go out and do that, what was he trying to prove?
Lacie walked outside, seeing Ada treating Allen. She frowned, "I suppose I'd rather not know." she then glanced over at Mercy, "Please follow me, we need to speak."

"Ah and I haven't even gotten to breakfast yet." Mercy attempted to joke with a rueful smile. She sighed and followed Lacie.

Lacie ignored the joke and lead her inside to her office, where Stefan was like always.
"So, because of Gen's failure, the next mission I'm going to ask you to be in charge."

Ada continued to patch up the wound, frowning as she did so, "Allen, you messed up this time." she sighed. She looked over as the door opened and Alaric came out, holding pieces of cloth, "In case you need more to bandage the wounds."
"Thanks." she said shortly and went back to work.

"Alright." Mercy said folding her arms. She'd never been exclusively in charge of a mission, but they sort of always worked together anyways.
"What all does this mission entail?" she asked

"There has been people in Laviern who have gone missing. Laviern, if you didnt know is a small city far off from here that is in bad shape. The people who have gone missing are known to openly dislike Alexander. I want you to put a stop to it.

"How do you propose I try and put a stop to it?" Mercy asked, making sure there wasn't anything specific Lacie wanted her to do.

"Do anything you see fit, I'm testing your skills." Lacie shrugged, "Just don't kill anyone on our side and we'll be peachy."

"Alright sounds good. Want me to take anybody along?" Mercy asked, her final question.

"I was hoping you'd be able to take Alaric and his siblings, but after what happened to Allen, I am unsure." she frowned, crossing her arms and glanced over at Stefan who just looked back at her and nodded once.
"If you want anyone else to come with you, including Alaric, you can chose them. Just do not bring Gen."

"Alright I'll get on that." Mercy said with a nod.

"Good. Leave by tomorrow, at the latest. The sooner we get this solved, the better." Lacie said, and turned around to sit down at her desk.

"I will." Mercy said with a nod, exiting the room.

Lacie glanced over as she left and leaned back in her chair.
Stefan looked over at her, "I'm guessing there's a reason why you're sending her off to do this."
"It'll all work out, Stefan." Lacie smiled, "The dead Brotherhood will soon have no more influence on my group."

Mercy frowned to herself as she walked back outside. She was surprised Lacie had asked her to do this. She wished she could take Gen along, but then again it would just be awkward. She hoped Alaric would agree to go, at least she sort of knew him.
