Alice was quiet, standing up, "I suppose we've had enough for today, would you like to go to the mess hall with the others?"

Ethan was silent, hugging himself as he held it all in, unable to let what happen flow.

He was silent for a long moment. "No," he said with a sigh. "I don't want to see people right now."

Blair rubbed his back. "You can tell me when you're ready, but it might help you get out of here."

"You shouldn't avoid people," Alice said gently, "It won't help you get any better."

Ethan looked to Aiden who shook his head.
"Don't tell her, I don't want you to get in trouble." he whispered.
"I know." Ethan's body shook with a sob, "I can't."

"People only anger me. Unless I can see Hakkam," he said hopefully.

Blair rubbed his back again. "OK. Only when you're ready, alright?"

"Hakkam should be there, he has been well lately." Alice informed.

Ethan nodded, shaking, tears streaming down his dirty face, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." he repeated hysterically.

Kit nodded once. "Then I'll go."

Blair clicked her tongue sympathetically and hugged him briefly. "It's alright. Here, take some medicine. It'll calm you down." She handed him a pill and a glass of water.

"I'll escort you down there, maybe you can try getting along with Sam, Ethan and the others as well." she said with a bit of hope as she offered him her hand to get up.

Ethan shook his head, "N-no." he breathed, "They don't make Aiden feel good, I don't want them."

"Maybe Sam. Ethan annoys me," he said, scowling. He stretched his arms behind his head and cracked his neck.

"But Aiden's not the one taking them. You are. You're only going to get worse, Ethan. Please."

"Give them a chance." Alice said, leading him into the room with the others.

Ethan shook his head, shutting his mouth. Fear was clear in his eyes.

"Mm," Kit grumbled with a non-commital grunt. He hurried over to Hakkam immediately. He was at his usual table against the wall.
"Hey!" Hakkam greeted, smiling.
"You look better than the other day."
"Yeah, had a bit of a meltdown. I'm better though."
"Good."

Blair sighed. "Do I need to get Dr. Lucic in here to make you take them?"

Sam sat in the corner of the room, sitting in a chair and stared out the window. His whole body was shaking and he did the occasional twitch.

Ethan didn't respond, he just hugged onto himself, tears streaming down his eyes.

"What problem are working on now? Figured out how to break the space-time continuum yet?" Hakkam asked.
Kit chuckled. "Not yet. I'm working on teleportation."

Blair sighed, frustrated now. "Should I grind them up and put them in your food instead?"

"L-leave us alone." Ethan whimpered, sweat dripping down his forehead.

"Fine. Fine," Blair said, getting to her feet and walking out of the room. She'd sneak them into his food or drink later.

Ethan trembled in his bed whispering, "I'm sorry, Aiden, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." he cried. His brother looked at him sadly, but blame clear in his eyes.

Sam nervously walked over to the two, "W-what's up?" he twitched, looking around as if someone was behind him.

Blair watched him from behind the glass. "He wouldn't take them again," she said to Lucic.

Hakkam smiled up at him. "Hey, Sam. Come sit."

Lucic sighed, "This boy is a bother." He said, annoyed, "We'll have to use force."

Sam rubbed the back of his head nervously before sitting down. He looked over his shoulder a lot, paranoid someone was following him.
Alice stood at the corner of the room, observing.

Blair sighed sadly. "I think so, too."

Haruka watched Sam. "Relax. You're making me jumpy."

"Let me deal with it, my dear. You go to the others and see how they're doing. I believe Alice is a bit too easy on them." Lucic said, heading towards Ethan's room.

Sam smiled guiltily, "Sorry." he said, looking down and asked them, "How've you guys been doing in this mad house?"

Blair nodded and headed for the cafeteria to look for Kit, Sam, and Alice.

"Heard you've been getting better, Hakkam," Kit said.
He nodded. "A little. Less nightmares and all that. Still freak out if there's too much noise. You, on the other hand, haven't left your cell for three days. Until now."
Kit shrugged one shoulder. "I'm fine with that."
"How have you been, Sam?" Hakkam asked.

Alice raised an eyebrow at Blair when she entered, keeping her place at the far end of the room, "No need for you to be here, I've got it covered."

"Worse, the medication isn't helping as much anymore." he said tiredly, tapping his foot on the tiled ground, "It's all gone to hell. I need to get out of here."

"Lucic sent me all the same." She leaned against the wall. "How're are the boys?"

"We all do," Kit muttered, glaring down at his hands.

Alice frowned, "They're as good as they can be under these conditions."

"It's gotta be soon, I'm going to go even crazier being here." He whined

Blair nodded. "Impressed by Hakkam's recovery."

"I don't think I actually developed a mental disorder until I got here."

"Indeed, it is a miracle he has improved." Alice nodded, not taking her eyes off the three.

Sam nodded, looking down at his hands and twitched, tapping his feet louder and faster on the tiled ground.
