Outcasts RP

Mercy walked out of her room and adjusted to the sunlight.
I guess I'll head down and check on Levi, that's pry where everyone is she thought.

Gen turned away from the window and released a sad sigh before exiting her room and headed towards the infirmary after a few moments of hesitation.

Levi ruffled Asa's hair. "Sleep well?"
"I did. Did you?"
"Like a baby." He held onto Isabella's hand all the while. He met her eyes. "I need to talk to you later. In private."
She nodded. "Alright."

Gen stood at the door, hesitating a moment before knocking once.

"Come on in!" Levi called.

Gen entered and offered him a small smile, "Hey, how're you feeling?"

"Better. Sleep helped. How 'bout yourself? You look a bit less . . . haggard."

Mercy made her way down to the infirmary, surprised at how quickly she'd gotten used to being up here. It almost didn't bother her anymore.

"I slept better then I have in a long time." she said with a slight smile, "I was just wondering if there is anything I can do around here to help, since you're giving my friends and I a place to stay."

Alaric wandered down the hallway and spotted Mercy, "Hey." he called with a smile.

Isabella tapped her chin. "How're your cooking skills?"

"Pretty good," Gen said modestly, "I use to cook for all of the rebels." she explained.

"Hey, good morning." Mercy said with a smile.

"Are we going to head back to the Outcasts today?" he asked, his arms crossed loosely over his chest.

"Yeah we should." Mercy said, nodding.

"Wanna go tell your friends or sneak out?" he asked with a mischievous smile.

"Wanna help Scott in the kitchen for a bit? I'll be there in a few minutes."

"Sure," Gen smiled, taking one more glance at Levi before exiting the room and headed towards the kitchen.

"Asa, can you leave us alone for a couple minutes?"
He blinked his round, dark brown eyes at her but nodded. "Can I come back later?"
"Of course, buddy. I need someone to keep me entertained while I'm confined to this blasted bed," Levi replied, ruffling his matching dark brown hair.
He beamed, gave Levi a quick hug, and dashed from the infirmary into the hall, probably to wake up his puppy.
"So, what did you want to talk about?" Isabella asked, sitting down on the edge of the bed.
"I remember," he started quietly. "I remember Gen. Not everything, but I remember what she means to me."
"Ah," she whispered, looking down at her hands. She pushed aside the jealously and sadness threatening to take over her mind. She knew this would come eventually. "So, what're you going to do?"
He took her hands. "I don't know yet. Alright? I don't know."
She swallowed hard. "Well, whatever you decide on, make sure it's the right choice." She leaned over and kissed his forehead.
Levi twined his hands in her hair, smiling. "This doesn't mean that what we have isn't real." He pressed his forehead against hers. "I still love you. But it's . . ."
"Complicated. I know." She offered a half-smile and pulled away. "I should go help in the kitchen."
"Yeah," he whispered, dropping his hands. He watched her leave and close the door behind her. Levi leaned his head back against the wall. "What am I going to do?"
Israel smirked. "I love how all of you treat me like I'm invisible during those moments. If I ever went rogue, you all would be in trouble."
"Shows how much trust we have in you."

Gen walked down the hallway, the scene from the night before played in her mind. She wanted Levi, so badly that it hurt to think of her not being with him, but she knew that they had both changed, and he found Isabella. She released a small sigh before peeking her head into the kitchen, "I've been told I can help out here." she smiled.

Scott turned and smiled warmly. "Yeah, come join me. Gen, right?" he asked, wiping his hands off on a towel.

"Yep." She smiled back at him, walking over, "And I'm assuming your Scott, right? What do you need me to do?"

"Hmm, let's see if we can get back without them noticing we were ever gone." Mercy said, catching his look and grinning back at him.

"Mischievous, I like that." he smiled, "Then let's get to it."

"I do know how to have a little fun." Mercy joked in a fake affronted manner "Let's go."

"Can I actually just grab something real fast?" he smiled sheepishly, "I need something to eat before we go and rescue."
