Chloe smiled, "I'll try that out." she looked over at Fang who seemed a bit distant and sighed, putting a hand on his shoulder, "Let's have a happy lunch, okay?"
Fang looked over at her and forced a small smile, "Alright."

Colin smiled at Chloe, thanking whatever gods that were out there for her existence. He grinned at Jai as he turned up with their water. "I see you managed to keep the water from catching on fire."
"Haven't succeeded in doing that yet. Weirdly."
"You'll figure out a way, I'm sure."
"Ready to order yet?" he asked.

Chloe laughed softly then responded, "I am, I'll try the crab masala." she said.
"I'll just have anything with meat in it," Fang responded, "Surprise me."

"I'll have the same as her," Colin said. "And whatever you make for Fang, soak it in that hot sauce stuff. The stuff that makes you sweat."

"Do I have no word in this?" Fang frowned, "Fair enough, challenge accepted"

Colin laughed. "If you start crying, I'll pay for the second meal," he promised. "I cried when I tried it. Like a baby."

"That doesn't shock me." Chloe teased.
"Nor I." Fang said, amused.

Colin laughed to the ceiling. "Always the target, aren't I? Then again, I bring it on myself half of the time, don't I?" He leaned back, one arm folded behind his head.

"You did set yourself up for that one, buddy." Fang smirked, "So it's all on you."

He chuckled. "I did, didn't I?" He's smiling again, at least. That's a start.

Fang leaned back in his seat and took a sip from his water as he sighed, "I can't believe you talked us into trying this."

Colin flashed a cheeky grin. "You're hungry enough, I suppose."
Jai and Raj returned with their food. Jai brought shawarma with mango salsa for Fang. "I put some of that hot sauce on it. Colin cried when he tried it."
"Yes, yes I told them. Thank you, Kai."

"Luckily your right about that," Fang smirked then looked over at Jai, "I'm more of a man than he is, I've got this." he winked.

"Dear Lord, please let him bawl his eyes out," Colin prayed just loud enough for Fang to hear. He dug into his crab, mouth already turning into a waterfall at the smell.

Chloe laughed softly at the two and cut up a peace of the crab and put it in her mouth. Her eyes widened as she finished, "Woah, this is good." she remarked.
"Oi, don't be a brat." he said, preparing to eat his meal.

"I know, right?" he said to Chloe, grinning. He laughed at Fang. "I apologize. I'm sure you'll be able to handle it just fine anyhow."

"Damn right I will." he smirked and took a bite out of it. He chewed for a few seconds until he started coughing, his eyes tearing up from the heat of it.

Colin leaned forward, watching him intently. "It's spicy, isn't it? Kinda hurts your tongue? Pretty much liquid pain."

"Yeah," he said tightly and grabbed at his water, chugging it down as it soothed his burning throat.

"Not a good idea," Colin said a little smugly. He was enjoying this way too much. "Water helps for a couple seconds and then makes it worse."

"God, you're such an ass," he coughed, the burning sensation in his throat was driving him crazy.

Colin laughed, pumping his fists in the air. "Here, I know what'll fix it. I'll be right back." He got to his feet and ran back to the kitchen. "Fang's have a fit. Can I get some pineapple?"
"Yeah. In the fridge." Jai laughed. "Not so tough, is he?"
"Well, he hasn't started crying yet, but his face is a little red." He grabbed a couple slices and hurried back. "Here ya go. It'll cut the spiciness."

"You're a saint." he murmured and stuck the pieces of fruit into his mouth.
Chloe giggled, "This is so silly."

"From ass to saint in less than a minute. I feel accomplished," Colin joked. "And Jai'll bring out another one without the stuff on it."

"Thank you." he said, relieved, "But I'm not sure if I can eat after that."
