"J-just going to a meeting." he mumbled, glancing away nervously.
Alaric frowned, not able to get the guy in a good view. He needed the guy to move over. He frowned, thinking of how to get the man to move.

The man looked at her nervously before backing away from Mercy and into Alaric's view. He smirked and released the arrow, watching it fly into the man's back.

Alaric grinned, pulling the bow's string back as the man collapsed, the contents of his bag rolled out of it as he did so. He frowned, seeing that it wasn't a clean shot for the man was attempting to get back to his feet as the blood streamed down his back.

Alaric stayed silent for a moment before calling over to Mercy, "Do it, put him out of his misery."
The man looked up at Mercy, looking mortified, "Please, don't!"

Mercy looked down at him, troubled. "Who are you?" she asked quietly, almost to herself, fingering the blade of the knife.

"He's a rat that's what." Snake said, coming out of the shadows, "He was on his way to deliver the plans of an underground rebel group to Alexander, that's what he does."
"T-that's not true!" he stuttered, though it didn't sound believable.

"I'll pay, you I'll do anything!" he pleaded.

"Very dignified." Mercy said, letting disdain motivate. With a swift motion she ducked down and plunged the knife deep into the man's upper back.

The man screamed in pain before life faded from his eyes and his body went limp.
"You hesitated too much, but I'll let it slide." Snake smirked, watching as Alaric jumped out of the tree and headed over towards them.

"If it'd looked like he was going anywhere, I wouldn't of." Mercy responded, walking over and wiping the blood off the blade in the grass "I just usually like to know who I'm killing and why."

Alaric was a bit uneasy as he walked a few steps behind them, lost in his mind. He hated what this group stood for and wanted to destroy them.
