Outcasts RP

"Thanks." Mercy said, offering him back a half smile. She'd been thinking about who could have done this to them, and she could think of only one girl who had the information to sell them out. The conclusion she reached scared her though and she hoped she was wrong.

"That's about the jist of the test." Snake announced, walking back over.
"If you can do these two things you're set."
"Sounds easy enough." Alaric shrugged.
"Yea, but one mess up and your dead."

"No pressure." Mercy said with tired sarcasm, rubbing her eyes.

"I suppose you two have had a long day. You should get some rest before the test tomorrow." Snake suggested.

"Probably a good idea." Mercy said

"I have a whole cabin to myself, you both are welcomed to stay there." Snake offered.

"Thank you, again." Mercy said with a small half smile.

Snake nodded, "Anything to help you two out." he gave a friendly smile.

Mercy smiled at him appreciatively and tiredly.

Alaric just crossed his arms and followed after the boy. He was itching to find out who did this to them, and he was determined to find out.

Mercy followed after Snake and Alaric. Wondering if he'd come up with anyone other than she had. They'd have to talk later.

Snake led them to a small cabin on the outskirts of the bandit's territory. He opened the wooden door and lit a candle to reveal the rest of the dark room. There were three rooms to the place, one seemed to act as a kitchen/living room while the other two rooms had beds.
"Here we are." Snake announced.

"You get kicked all the way out here because you're a guy?" Mercy asked, assuming.

"The other girls don't really accept me like Minerva does." Snake explained, "but she was nice enough to give me a place to stay, despite my gender." he smiled,

"Ah I see." Mercy replied, looking around.

"Make yourselves at home." He insisted as he went towards one of the doors that led to his room.

"Thanks." Mercy said, glancing at Alaric.

Alaric waited until the door closed before looking over at Mercy, "Any idea on who may have lead us to this?"

"Well, who had the information to do it, and is a girl?" Mercy said, not really wanting to state her idea outright.

Alaric hesitated, three girls came to mind, "Lacie, Ada or . . ." he looked flustered, reluctantly admitting it, ". . . Gen." He picked up his composure, "They all have the ability to do this, and are cunning enough to do it without us even knowing. Also, all three knew about us coming here"

"Well I don't know Ada very well so I can't say about her. I highly doubt Gen would do this. And I'm fairly certain Lacie would." Mercy said, leaning against the wall and thinking.

Alaric's posture tightened, "I know you don't like Lacie much, but she wouldn't do this." he said lowly. As much as he didn't like Lacie's personality, she did help him get to where he is today.

Mercy bit down on her bottom lip "She'd do whatever she thought was best for her group and would give her the best chance to get to Alexander in the future." she said

"No." Alaric said simply, "I won't waste my time with 'maybes', I will find out who did this."

"Assuming we get out of here...alive." Mercy said wearily, the reality starting to sink in.
