"Have fun," Ben smiled before looking over at Mercy, "Lunch is almost done."

"It smells delicious." Mercy smiled
Lily placed her hand son her hips and looked around, wondering where she should look first. "Probably somewhere with weapons." she muttered to herself, heading in that direction.

"Made it with love, though I realize how corny that sounds." he smirked, putting the pasta shells onto a plate and handed it to her.

"Mmm but love makes the best pasta." Mercy laughed, taking a bite. "Thank you."

((Sorry had to run out and do something))

Ben smiled and kissed her on the forehead, "Anytime."

"So what went on around here while we were gone?" Mercy asked

"Nothing much, same old same old." Ben shrugged, "It was quite boring without you."

"Am I really that entertaining?" Mercy joked

"Yes." Ben smiled, kissing her on the tip of her nose.

Mercy smiled at him "Well I missed you too." she said

"Next time take me with you." he murmured, starting to eat his pasta.

"Family vacation." Mercy smiled, continuing to eat.

"We should really do that sometime." Ben nodded with a smile.

"It would be fun." Mercy grinned, finishing off her pasta.

Mags wrote:"You wouldn't understand." Ben said, shaking his head, he looked over at Lily, "Maybe you should go find your cousin."

"I know." Finn breathed, tiredly, "You're just too fast! It's annoying!" he complained slashing at his shoulder.

"Hello." was all he said as he sat down without a drink, just staring out the window.
Ashlee raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything, she then looked at Colton, "Want anotha?" she asked, voice a bit slurred.

Ash smiled, though he internally smirked, One step closer., "Thank you!" he beamed, hugging her.
"Bless you, Isabella." the woman smiled and then looked at Phil, "Why don't you show Warren around?"

Jennings's laugh cut short. He rubbed his shoulder and jumped backwards. "Ow!"

"Sure, but you don't." He poured himself a second one.

Isabella laughed and returned the hug. "Of course." She smiled at Abigail. "Anything I can do to help."
Phil grabbed Ash by the wrist. "Come on! I'll introduce you!"

"Yeah," Ben nodded, "Is there anything you want to do?"

"Aha!" Finn gloated, "I'm the best!"

Ashlee sighed, crossing her arms, "You're no fun."
The man looked at the two curiously, waiting for a chance to get some information.

Ash yelped in surprise as he was dragged forward, "So, how long have you been here?" he asked, looking around. Part of him already missed being with his dad, being home, but he wanted to make his father proud.

"Yeah, you hit me. It wasn't even a vital hit, sharp blade or not." Jennings rolled the pain out of his shoulder and held his sword out to him. "Now try to kill me."

"Nope." He glanced at the guy down the bar. "Is there a reason you're staring, or do you just have a crush on one of us?"

"About a year. You'll like it here, I think. The people are really nice."

Finn grinned, running forward and lunged at him.

"Just curious," he said innocently, "I just wanted to hear local news."

"Yeah, I bet I will." he chimed in happily, "Thanks for being so nice to me."

Jennings batted his sword away and circled around.

"Local news? But you're a soldier here, judging by your uniform. Shouldn't you know all about that anyway?"

"No problem." He ran up the stairs to the room he shared with two other boys. They were both younger, being eight and ten. "Seth, Carson, this is Warren. He's new here."
"Hiya!" Carson – the ten-year-old – greeted cheerfully.
"Your hair looks funny," Seth stated, scrunching up his nose curiously.

Finn frowned in frustration, jabbing at his chest.
Brooke sighed, "When will this end?" she complained.

The man blinked for a moment, "I've been stationed in Amacitia and I just returned. Just wondering what I've missed." he said innocently, "How about I buy your next drink?"

Ash hid a scowl, annoyed by how many times it had been commented on, "I had a sickness that made my hair turn white." he explained, his green eyes unable to hide his annoyance.

Ashlee sighed, crossing her arms, "You're no fun."
The man looked at the two curiously, waiting for a chance to get some information.

"Relax, walk around and see people? I don't know, anything you want to do?" Mercy asked him

Jennings only laughed. He was teasing Finn now. He didn't attack, only blocked and avoided.
Israel stepped into the middle. "OK, call it truce this time. Swords away."

Colton shrugged, accepting the explanation. "I won't turn down a free drink."

Carson, being more perceptive than Seth or Phil, smiled. "He's only eight. I'm sure you get told that all the time. Leave him alone, Seth."
"Still think it's weird," Seth grumbled under his breath and went back to his puzzle.
Carson bopped him on the head.

Finn glared but threw his sword on the ground, "You're no fun." he grumbled, arms crossed.

He smirked, gesturing for the bartender to give him a strong drink, "Enjoy, so, you're one of the commanders, right?"

Ash smiled a bit, liking Carson better and ignored Seth's remark, "So, what do you guys do for fun?"

"Sure, let's walk around." Ben said and took her hand.

"Okay." Mercy smiled, standing and following him.
Lily found Jennings and Finn as they finished their fight. "Hey guys, Hi Israel." she said, walking up to them

Jennings chuckled. "Temper, temper," he chided, sheathing his sword.
Israel turned. "Hello there!"

"Of sorts, yeah." He took a sip. "Mm. That's good."

"We have puppies!" Seth said suddenly, perking up. "Oh! And it's my turn to feed them! Be right back." He ran downstairs to feed them a few scraps of leftover food.
Phil laughed. "Abigail said we could keep them as long as we fed our food to them. But, we have books for those of us who know how to read. I'm teaching Seth and Carson how right now. Games that we kinda make up as we go. We just kind of bother each other until we're entertained. And for the older kids, like you and me, Isabella and Abigail get random jobs for us in town so we can earn a little bit of money."
