"I did, it was a pleasant trip." Mercy responded "But I'm glad to be home." she finished with a smile.

"And I'm happy you're home as well." he said, moving over and kissed her on the forehead, "I assume you heard about Adonis already already and that he'll be helping Alaric rule."

"I did, news travels fast." Mercy replied neutrally, undecided as to how it made her feel.

"Let's just hope this all works out." He sighed, before looking back at Lily, setting her down, "Your cousins and Alaric's kids should be around here somewhere if you want to play with them."

"Okay, I will." Lily replied cheerily before dashing off to find them.
"She has far too much energy." Mercy laughed

"She obviously gets it from you." he teased, pulling her closer and kissed her lightly on the lips.

Finn sat in the living room, slashing around a fake sword, pretending to slay dragons and other mighty beasts.

"I don't know what your talking about." Mercy murmured against his lips, returning the kiss.

Ben smiled against her lips before he pulled away, "So, anything you want to do?" he asked with a flirtatious smile.

"Oh I don't know, I'm up for anything." Mercy said with a mischevious half grin.

Lily dashed inside and immediatley discovered Finn in the living room.
"I"m back!" she declared to get his attention

"We could go to town," he offered, "Go to that restaurant you like so much."

Finn looked up and grinned, his blonde hair falling into his brown eyes, "Hi Lily!" he said happily, dropping his sword to the ground.

"That sounds wonderful." Mercy grinned in response

"What were ya doin?" Lily asked, walking over to him

"Let's just tell Lily before we go, though I doubt she'd notice." he smirked, taking her hand.

"Just fighting dragons." he said, happily, sitting down on the couch.

"We could disappear for days and I doubt that girl would notice." Mercy chuckled walking beside him.

"Cool." Lily replied, plopping down beside him

"Probably. That girl is something else." he said, leading her to the living room.

"So, where have you been?" he asked curiously.

"Well, she's her parents daughter." Mercy smiled

"Amatica with my mom." Lily replied, swinging her feet above the ground "It was really cool."

"And we are indeed awesome, like her." Ben chuckled.
"Cool!" Finn said, jealousy obvious in his tone and eyes.
Ben walked into the room, "We're going out to town, Aunt Genevieve will be here to take care of you."

"Oh, okay. Have fun!" Lily said, not bothered by the news at all
"Behave yourself." Mercy reminded, planting a quick kiss on the side of her head
"I promise." Lily grinned

Ben gave her a quick hug, "Good." he smiled, "Have fun." he waved before bringing Mercy to the carriage.

"We will." Lily waved with a grin

Mercy followed Ben toward the carriage, looking foward to the outing.

"Soo what do you wanna do?" Finn asked, looking over at her.

"After you, my dear." Ben said, opening the carriage door for her.

"Are you done fighting dragons?" Lily asked

"Thank you kind sir." Mercy smiled at him, climbing into the carriage.

"Yep! I slayed the dragon and the city is saved." He responded happily.

"Anytime." he winked, getting into the carriage after her, "Off we go."

"Huh, well I guess that is out then." Lilly replied, thinking

Mercy grinned at him as the carriage started moving, perfectly content.

"We should go find Ash and Jennings!" Finn suggested.

Ben wrapped an arm around her, bringing her closer to him and kissed her on the cheek, "How is your brother doing?" he asked, "I haven't heard from him in a while."

"Good idea, let's go!" Lily exclaimed, jumping up.

Mercy snuggled against him happily. "He's doing well, traveling and getting his fill of 'everything I wouldn't let him do when he was younger' as I believe he put it." she said with a hint of amusement.
