Avatar: The Last Airbender RP

"Probably a flying bison." Aiyana said, stretching as she followed them out.

"Gaho, and yes he's a Flying Bison," Rai said, matching Jiyang's gait.

"What?" Ur blinked, "I thought they were extinct."
"We thought that about Air benders too." Lyon reminded.

"All Airbenders are paired with a Flying Bison at a very young age. A bison had three babies the day I was born. The runt and started a friendship immediately, so Sai rescued Gaho and me because we couldn't bear to be apart."

"That's so cute!" Ur gushed, "So adorable!"
"You get excited over everything don't you?" Lyon sighed.
Ur turned around and stuck her tongue out at him before turning away.

Jiyang laughed. "Don't be such a mood-killer, Lyon."

"Sorry," Lyon said, rubbing the back of his neck and looked away, "I just want to make sure we get to Rai's home as fast as we can, before the Fire Nation comes after us."
"You're a fire bender yourself, you can handle them," Ur smiled.

"We all escaped from a maximum security prison. We can outwit them . . . for a little bit, at least," Rai agreed.

Aiyana listened to the others talk with slight amusement, not feeling like her voice was needed.

"Well, you are the Avatar so, I guess you're right, you're all knowing and stuff . .right?" Ur asked.
"You really don't know anything," Lyon sighed, "You're helpless."
"Hey! That's just mean." Ur said defensively.

Rai touched Lyon's shoulder. "Don't be too mean. And no, I'm not all-knowing. I'm just like you in that sense. Until I connect to the other Avatars through the Avatar state, I'm not any smarter or wiser than you."

Lyon shrugged off her hand and looked away. He just felt frustrated and determined to help the Avatar, but he knew he had to work with the others as well.
"We'll have to get you connect with them then," Ur smiled.

Rai raised an eyebrow but made no comment. She sighed. "The trick is actually accomplishing that. I don't have anyone to teach me the spiritual aspect of being the Avatar. That has to be developed, not learned."

"You'll have time while you learn how to bend the other three elements i think" Aiyana spoke up

"Sounds complicated." Ur frowned,

"I hope so," she said to Aiyana. "But before I can do all that, I need to know more about the war and what's going on. All I know is that there is a war and apparently it's between the Fire Nation and all the others."

Lyon nodded, "You have to be the one to take down the Fire Lord."

She paled for a second. "Right. Yeah. Of course."

Lyon hesitated, "Sorry, that's putting a lot of pressure on you."

Jiyang turned around and offered a huge smile. "You won't be alone though, if that's any consolation."
"It is. Thanks." She returned the smile and folded her arms over her stomach.

"Yeah, we'll all be one big team." Ur said excitedly.

Rai giggled at the excitable Ur. "Never thought making friends would be this easy."

"Well, I guess people grow closer after escaping prison together." She winked.

"This is true. Can't really just part ways after something like that, can you?"

"That we can't do," Ur agreed.
"I don't mean to interrupt this . . moment but, are we getting closer, Rai?" Lyon asked.
