Jade peeked into Fang's room and saw Chloe. Quietly she walked over and joined her.
"Good morning, hows he doing?" she asked quietly

Chloe opened her eyes and looked over at Jade with a smile, "Hey." she said quietly, "How'd you sleep?"

"Well enough." Jade replied with a shrug, keeping her voice down "And you?"

"About the same." she said with a small smirk, "I'm just worried about him." she said quietly, looking at Fang.

"I am too, but he'll be okay" Jade tried to assure with a half smile.

"Right," she nodded with a small smile, "He always turns out okay."

"He's a tough guy." Jade nodded, glancing down at him as she said so.

Colin and Devon stayed by the door. Colin smiled. Chloe had known him longer than he had.
Devon nudged his shoulder. "I'm gonna go see if my dad's awake."
"Alright. See ya in a bit."
"I'd say the same, but, you know."
Colin chuckled and watched him go.

Demas ordered every man he passed to collect whatever weapons needed and meet on the grounds.

"Indeed," she said and looked over at the door to Colin and smiled slightly, "Morning."

Neko stood at the window, looking down at the courtyard at the men gathering, his expression blank for once. "Looks like we'll meet again, old friend." he said distantly.

Jade offered Colin a wave and a small smile to supplement Chloe's good morning.

Colin returned the smile and wave. He pushed off the doorjamb and headed over. "Any change?" he whispered.

Demas claimed his broadsword and headed down with the men in the yard.

"His wounds look a little bit better, I just think he's tired." Chloe said, running a hand through her hair.

After a few minutes, Neko prepared himself for the battle and walked down the stairs and walked to his men and Demas, "Is this all of them?"

Jade stayed quiet, letting Chloe talk.

Colin nodded. "Good." He leaned against the wall. "How're you two doing? Sleep well?"

"There are a few stragglers, but everyone else has already been assigned a job."

"Well enough, despite yesterday." Chloe said, glancing down at the ground.

"Good, let's get going then." Neko nodded, pleased

"Well, I slept." Jade said with a shrug

Colin smiled crookedly. "Under the circumstances, any amount sleep is a blessing."

"After you, my lord," Demas said, gesturing for him to lead.

Chloe smiled slightly then looked over at Fang as he opened his eyes and released a huge yawn.
"Good morning." she said cheerfully.

"Lord?" Neko laughed, "That's a bit too much, don't you think. Leave the lower ranks to greet me with that title."

"Ah, he awakens." Jade joked with a half grin, looking over at Fang.

"Morning, Sleeping Beauty . . . well, the sleeping half is applicable," Colin greeted, grinning.

Demas smirked. "Seemed fitting. All the same, you're our leader. Time for you to lead."

"Indeed I do," he smirked at Jade then looked over at Colin and made a face, "I thought I was beautiful."

Neko nodded, moving in front of the group of Death's Bloom members and grinned wickedly, "Let's have us some fun."

Colin snorted. "I've seen better."

Demas followed, the ever-present force at Neko's side.

"Well, thanks." he rolled his eyes, sitting up with a grunt of pain. Chloe looked at her with a concerned expression but he brushed it off, "So, anyone want to spend time at the beach?"

Jade raised an eyebrow at Fang "You really wanna get up?" she asked

"Well, sitting around is boring." he said with a slight shrug.
