Mercy laughed "Alright, I'm kinda hungry too."

"Can't go playing hero on an empty stomach now, can we?" Alaric grinned.

"Gosh, no I don't think we could manage." Mercy chuckled

Alaric grinned and headed towards the kitchen, "Just a small bite before we go rescue them." he said quietly, mostly to himself.

Mercy smiled and shook her head, following him.

Mags wrote:"Yep." She smiled back at him, walking over, "And I'm assuming your Scott, right? What do you need me to do?"

"That's me. Can you start frying up some eggs? That'd be marvelous."

"You've got it." Gen nodded with a smile, heading over to the stove. She took out a pan an cracked the side of the egg against it before letting it fall onto the pan.
Alaric followed the aroma of food to the kitchen, seeing the two inside, "Oh, hey." he smiled sheepishly, "Could we get some food?"

Mercy followed him in. "Good morning" she greeted with a smile.

"Hey, guys! No, I'm sorry the guests have to starve. Pancakes right behind me and sausage right next. And Gen's working on the eggs. Help yourselves."
Isabella appeared close behind. "We running low on anything?"
"Not yet."
"Good. Need any help?"
"Nope. I've got Gen here. We've got it covered."
"Great." She smiled briefly and nodded once.
Scott frowned. "We'll talk later. Dean needed you down on the ground."
"Right. Have fun."

"So, are you guys going to head out to get your siblings soon?" Gen asked, as added a bit of salt and pepper onto the eggs.
"Yeah, once we eat." Alaric nodded.
"Do you guys need help?" she asked.
"Nah, we've got this." he winked, "This isn't your fight."

"It shouldn't be too major of an operation." Mercy said, grabbing a little food.

"Israel," Levi whined.
"No, you're not allowed to get up."
"But I'm so BORED!"
"Want me to find you something to do?"
"Sure . . . as long as it doesn't involve math. I don't like math."
"I'm just going to have you refill some medicine bottles." He dumped an armload onto the bed with nine different bags of medicine.
"Yay."
"I'll help you, don't worry."

"I hope you guys are right." Gen said and released a small sigh as put the eggs onto a plate. She leaned against the counter, her mind wandering once again.
Alaric leaned against the counter next to her and started to wolf down his food.

"Levi, I'm sorry, but I need to run into town and pick up a new supply. We're running low on surgical stuff."
"Kay. I'll just sit here and brood."
"You're good at that."
He smirked.
Israel shrugged on a coat and trotted to the kitchen. "Hey, I'm going into town. Running low on some stuff. Anyone want to come?"

Victoria rung the bell on George's counter.
"One moment!" her brother called before appearing. He paled instantly. "Vic-Victoria. What can I do for you?"
"I need you to come with me. Don't make a scene, it'll be easier for all of us."
"I don't think so."
"It has to do with Levi, and if you don't come, my men will kill your little boy."
He swallowed hard and wiped the oil off his hands. "Fine. Fine. He's a friend's house anyway. Just send one of your men to tell him that he'll be staying there for a couple days."
She smiled sweetly. "Done. Get your coat, brother."
George glared at her darkly and shrugged on his faded, leather trench coat.

"I'll go." Gen volunteered, then looked over at Scott and smiled a guiltily, "If you don't need anymore help, that is."

"Nah, I'm good now. Have fun. Israel, watch her."
"Of course. Need anything?" he asked Gen, smiling.

"Nope," Gen shook her head and smiled up at him, "I just want to walk around a bit." she admitted, "And it's good to be in your company after all this time."

"Agreed. No doubt we have much to talk about." He offered Gen his arm. "Off we go then."

"Yeah," Gen smiled and took his arm, "So, what have you been up to this past year?" she asked. Words couldn't describe how thrilled she was to see Israel alive, she thought that he had met the same fate as many of their allies had.

"I was hurt pretty bad during the whole . . . ordeal a year ago. I spent the first month recovering. After that, I found some odd jobs. Usually spying or healing. Isabella found me three months later, and I've been working for her ever since as a spy, information gatherer and as a doctor. Occasionally as a babysitter. Apparently, kids love me. Who knew? What about you? What've you been up to? Did you find anyone . . . anyone else from Outcasts?"

Gen smiled at him, happy that he seemed to be doing well for himself, "That's good, I'm glad to hear that." her smile faded though as she looked down at her hands, "No . . . no one survived that I know of. There is a new Outcasts now, led by a terrible woman. I've been with them though this past year." she said quietly.

((Off to bed, night!!))

"Ah," he said sympathetically. He kissed the back of her hand. "You're more than welcome to run with us, if you'd like. And, what's the name of his terrible woman? Maybe I've heard of her."

"I think I may take you up on that offer." Gen smiled sadly, then responded after a moment of hesitation, "Her name is Lacie. She means well, but . . . she lets her own wants get in the way of what her group stands for." she sighed.
Vincent stalked around the town, keeping a close eye on Gen and Israel as they walked. He smirked, deciding to go through with his own plan. Victoria and Alexander will be pleased when I come back with this girl. Levi can't ignore a threat like this once we have her, he'll come crawling to us.

"Lacie. I've heard her name whispered about. Terrifies most of them, to be quite honest."

"Yeah, she's anything but pleasant," Gen said quietly, glancing down at the ground, "Anyways, what do you need again?"
