Outcasts RP

Scott slowed to a stop a couple feet away. "He's alive, right?"
"Yeah, I'm alive."
"OK, on three," Israel said, "and you're standing up. One, two, three." Israel hefted him to his feet.
Levi screamed through his teeth as the skin around the injuries stretched with the movement. "Oh dear God above, that hurts," he hissed.

"Who did this to you?" Gen asked, having a faint idea who it could have been.
Alaric cringed at the sound of his screams and suffering.

Mercy winced, glad he was alive but she hated to see him in pain. Catherine or Vincent she thought to herself

"Catherine," Levi replied, tossing his sweaty bangs out of his face. "Vincent and Victoria were there, too."
Isabella touched his side gently. Raw fury and happy relief warred in her eyes. "Let's get you home. Asa won't go to sleep until he sees you."

"What a lovely group," Gen sighed under her breath and shook her head.
"That's rough." Alaric muttered.

"Lovely people." Mercy murmured sarcastically to herself.

"Oh yeah, love them to bits. We're besties now," Levi replied with equal sarcasm.
"Well, they certainly didn't hurt you bad enough to take away that tongue of yours," Israel remarked. "I need to treat him as soon as possible, so I suggest that we head back."

"Right," Gen nodded, "Let's head back." she felt distressed seeing him this way.

Mercy nodded, they definetly needed to get back.

Scott took the rest of Levi's weight. "We'll have to take him up the lift when we get back."
"I'll go up first then," Israel said.
Isabella walked in pace with Gen. She released a shaky sigh.

Gen looked at Isabella sadly and put a hand on her shoulder, "He'll be okay." she reassured with a sad smile.
Alaric looked over at Mercy, "See, your friend'll be okay." he smiled, "There was nothing to worry about."

"Yeah." Mercy replied with a half-hearted smile.

"I could say the same to you. You care about him just as much," she said quietly.

Alaric put a hand on her back and smiled, "Let's just get back to the camp and take it easy for the rest of the night. I think we could use the rest."

Gen looked down at the ground for a moment. She was worried about him, so much that it made her a bit sick, but she hid it from her face. It was something she was use to doing this past year, "I know," she said sadly, "but he's Levi, he'll be okay."

Mercy offered him a small, but genuine smile this time. "Alright." she agreed.

Isabella looked at Levi's back. She smiled gently, like a little girl smiling at her first crush. "He's always OK."

"That a girl, good." he said, pleased.

Gen hid the jealousy that burnt in her and nodded, "He'll be up and about in no time."

"That a girl?" Mercy asked with slight amusement.

"Probably tomorrow if Israel doesn't stop him," Isabella said, giggling.
"I heard that!" Levi said over his shoulder.
"Good. It'll remind you not to do it."

Gen smiled slightly but didn't say anything. For some reason, she felt too shy to even talk to Levi. She looked down at her hands as she walked, keeping silent.

"I don't know." Alaric shrugged, "It just seemed good to say."

"Well alright then." Mercy said with a half smile.

They broke the tree line and reached the camp. Four ladders descended from the branches. Israel let go of Levi and climbed up first to man the lift.

Gen watched them, standing back to give some room. She looked over at Alaric and Mercy, offering them a smile. She was relieved to have them with her.

The front doors to the estate opened as Alexander entered. He wore a black suit and his white blonde hair was styled perfectly. He walked into the estate, and was immediately tackled into a hug by Catherine.
"Uncle Alexander!" she gushed, "Welcome back!"

Mercy smiled back at Gen, still worried.

Israel lowered a platform with three walls from the branches. Levi and Scott filed onto the lift and Israel pulled them up.
Isabella climbed up the ladder. Asa waited for them. He ran into Isabella's arms. "Is Levi OK?"
"He will be, don't worry."
