Crimson Academy RP

Dawn blinked, "I'm surprised it work." She quickly turned over to the demon Drake was struggling against and threw the water at it, watching it react in the same way.

Avan continued to breathe deeply through his mouth. His voice was all croaky like he was suffering from a bad cold. "Well, we know how to get rid of them now."

Dawn knelt down next to him, "Are you alright?" she asked, looking him over.
Drake looked at the two and leaned against the wall, "That was nothin'!" he grinned, "I could've taken on ten of 'em!"

"Yeah, I'm alright," he assured, patting her knee. He glared up at Drake. "You didn't know how to get rid of them until Dawn spilled water on them."

"I could've found a way." Drake shrugged, "There may be more than just stupid water."
"Stupid water that probably saved your life." Dawn pointed out.

"What she said," Avan said, getting to his feet. "I don't think they can be smashed to death."

"Who knows." Drake muttered, "Since when are you a demon expert?"
Dawn ignored him, "Anyways, we should tell Lionhart about this. This is bad."
"Why?" Drake asked, "There were only two of 'em"
"Idiot, you don't get it. Demons have been locked away for a least one hundred years, and now all the sudden they're coming back."

"Again, what she said," Avan said. "Demons coming back is not good. Something bigger has to be coming." He ran his hands through his hair. "Demons run when a good man goes to war," Avan murmured to himself, smiling faintly.

"Yeah okay, whatever that means." Drake rolled his eyes at Avan. "Then we can get rid of them again."
"Those demons seemed to be Lesser Demons, there are far worse ones." Dawn sighed, and stumbled a bit as the train stopped at their destination.

Avan nodded, remembering the lessons with his grandfather. He shivered at the stories he used to tell. "Far worse ones. Terrible ones." His eyes darkened suddenly. "Destructive ones," he whispered. He leaned against the wall, lost in his own mind. He crossed one arm over his chest. His other hand folded over his mouth. His eyes flicked back and forth, watching the ground.

Dawn looked at him and nodded, "We'll have to be ready." she said quietly and exited thru train as it stopped.

Avan barely heard her. He looked up and followed her out, hands shoved in his pockets. His mind was a thousand miles away

"Jeez, what's up with him?" Drake muttered to Dawn who frowned at him.
"This is serious, Drake!" Dawn said.
"Whatever, we can handle it."

Avan pulled out his phone and texted his grandfather. I need to talk to you. This weekend. I'll come visit. We have a problem. I'll explain more then. He tucked it away with a sigh.

Dawn looked over at Avan and sighed quietly. He seemed to be the most shaken up about this. She wanted to assure him they could deal with the demon's return, but she wasn't even sure herself how badly this was going to turn out.

Avan grinned suddenly. "Well, can't say today was boring."

Dawn looked at him, a little shocked by his sudden behavior changed, but smiled back at him and nodded, "Yeah, and at least one thing went well, we all passed." she said, turning around the corner towards the school.

"I never doubted our skills for a second." He pushed his hair off of his forehead. He wrinkled his nose at the texture. "I need a shower."

"I agree." Drake smirked, "You stink."
Dawn rolled her eyes, "That'll have to wait, we have to report to Lionhart first." she pointed out. She walked through the large, black gates of the academy. As they walked through the courtyard she heard murmurs from fellow students.
"Did you hear about the new students that were enrolled today?"
"Yeah, I heard they're all qualified to be year fives, it's amazing!"
"Lionhart allowed them to skip, no way!"
"How many are there?"
"Six of them, or so I hear."

"New students? Talented new students," Avan remarked, listening to the whispers as they passed. "Could always use some fresh blood in this place."

"They're not as talented as me though, that's for sure." Drake smirked.
Dawn stayed silent, the murmurs making her feel unease, What the hell is Lionhart thinking? Five years for every student, no matter how talented they are. Something isn't right about this. She headed into the Academy and towards the Head Master's quarters.

"I want to meet these people. They sound like proteges," Avan said, getting a little excited.

Dawn looked at Avan, her expression was completely changed, and her blue eyes looked at him coldly, "Don't get too excited about this Avan, if you are join the crowd of gossiping girls." she said coldly, surprised by her own anger. Just something about these new students sparked anger inside of her.

Avan raised an eyebrow but made no comment on her tone. "There's always a grain of truth to every rumor."

Dawn didn't answer and just crossed her arms, walking ahead of them.
"Ooh, Dawn's jealous." Drake teased.
"Shut it, Drake." she said coldly as they reached the Head Master's door.
