"Yeah, I see you guys handled yourselves as well." Chloe smiled, "Let's head up to Balthasar."

"After you," Colin said, gesturing for her to lead the way.

Jade walked past Colin. They'd made it out with only minor injuries and the girl. They'd gotten lucky.

Chloe obeyed and walked forward, " So, what kinda mess did you guys get into?" she asked curiously as she entered Faith's Edge.

Colin twisted a smile. "Mostly a screaming match. Word of advice, don't piss off Fang when he's in wolf mode. It doesn't end up pretty," he joked, glancing back at Fang.

Jade chuckled "Is that what happened to your face?" she asked

Fang sighed, "Again, sorry for that."
"I'm not sure if I want to know." she frowned, walking up the stairs towards Balthasar's office.

"Face and arm." He held up his injured arm for a half-second. He wrapped his good one around Fang's shoulders.

"Ouch." Jade said, raising an eyebrow.

"I've still had worse," he said with a shrug.

"Long story," Fang sighed, "Rather not get into it." he opened the door for Chloe as they reached it.
"We were successful," Chloe announced, placing the girl gently down on the couch.
"I'm glad to see you all are okay." Balthasar smiled at him, looking generally relieved.

Jade didn't respond as they walked into Balthasar's office.

Colin kept at Fang's side, nodding to Balthasaar as they walked in.

"You guys did well," Balthasar said with a smile, "Take it easy for the rest of the day."
"As you say," Chloe said and bowed before exiting, gesturing the others to follow.

Jade offered Balthasar a small smile before retreating out the door after Chloe.

"Don't have to tell me twice," Colin said happily, back to his normal self again.

"We haven't had free time in a while." Fang smiled.
"Yeah, it's kinda a surprise, what do you guys wanna do?" she asked.

"I'm up for pretty much anything." Jade said with a shrug.

"I need food. So wherever we go, there has to be a restaurant or something around. My stomach is eating itself."

"Stop exaggerating." Fang rolled his eyes at Colin, playful hitting him in the back.
"Alright then, maybe get something to eat then go shopping around town?" Chloe suggested.

"Sounds fun to me." Jade said, smiling

Colin laughed. "But seriously, I'm starving. Shopping sounds good. Haven't been shopping in a while."

"Good, sounds like a plan." Chloe grinned.
Fang chuckled, "Let's get food before Colin complains more."

"I'm kinda hungry too, let's go." Jade agreed

"I'm good at complaining. You don't want me complaining," Colin warned, grinning.
