"Are you alright." Jade asked, surprised by her sudden change in mood.

"Y-yeah, my stomach just doesn't feel to great." she muttered, her face becoming more flushed, "Let's just go."

"Are you sure you're okay to walk that far?" Jade said, looking at her concerned.

"Yeah," she muttered, sounding annoyed as she started her way towards her house.

Chloe stumbled a bit as she walked over the stone bridge that lead them towards the park. "I shouldn't have drank." she mumbled.

"It'll be okay once you get home." Jade said reassuringly, watching to make sure she was okay as they walked.

"I . . . . " Chloe frowned, her thought process still slow, "I . . Don't remember, but I bet you said something smart." she said, her voice still slurred.

Chloe nodded, leaning a bit on Jade as she started to stagger.

Jade slipped her arm around the other girl lightly. "Easy, we're almost there."

Chloe continued to smile, even though the affects of her drink were wearing off and she began to feel more sick. She breathed a sigh of relief as they reached her house.
