"My waffles will bring your end!" He yelled, continuing to throw it at him, "It'll bring back the real Avan!"

"Seems like a good place to start. I've never bothered to associate myself with students at this school. They're obviously not good enough."

Sammi yelped, trying to pull him off, "W-what are you doing?" she asked, panicked.

"Maybe if I ignore him long enough, he'll go away," he mused to himself as he walked for Dawn's room.

"There has to be some talent in this school. Come on." She led the way to the main office.

"Relax. You'll love it," he whispered before continuing to drink.

"Leo! My waffles don't seem to be doing anything!" he cried, starting to eat them instead of throwing them, "They're just SO GOOD."

"Hopefully, or I'll resent father for even sending us here." he frowned.

Sammi felt her body relax and she even ended up pulling Skylar closer to her as a drowsy, pleasant feeling took over her body.

Leo rubbed his head, groaning. "I don't know what to do!"

"Can't have that." She pushed the doors open. "Hi," she greeted the secretary sweetly. "Can we look at the student list? We're trying to find someone."
"Yeah, of course." She handed over a notebook. "You can sit down on the couch over there if you like."
"Thanks so much." She gestured for her brother to follow and settled down on the couch.

Skylar drank enough to keep her alive and satisfy his craving.

"But waffles man, waffles!" he said, his mouth full of them, "He's going into Dawn's dorm, stop the pervert!"

Ciaran sat down next to her, eyes skimming the list, "Notice any names?"

The girl swooned a bit, her eyes widening in fear, "Y-you're . ." she stammered, reaching for her weapon.
"You've gotta compel 'em, Skylar." Dawn instructed, licking the blood from her lips. She had already bitten five guests.

Leo took off after Avan, shaking his head. "This is not good," he muttered to himself.

"A couple. There's Koran and Anderson. They're both friends of our family and pretty ruthless."

Skylar nodded. "Relax," he soothed. "I'm not trying to hurt you. Just relax."

"We better go after him." he said, grabbing the other tray of waffles before following Avan.

"We'll seek them out." his eyes traveled to a familiar name, "Alois Kennedy is also another possible ally."

Sammi nodded and broke out into smile, "Alright, call me up sometime, Skylar." she winked before walking away.
Dawn smirked, "See, isn't this fun?" She had already changed the five others she had bitten and they were starting to feed on others as well.

Leo skidded around the corner leading to Dawn's room. "Alright. So plan. Plan. I have no plan. Waffles aren't working. What else? What else?"

"We'll start with those. Let's split up and look for them." She took pictures of their school portraits with her phone.

Skylar grinned, drunk with blood and power. "It's amazing!"

"Double waffle?" Drake suggested, "I don't know, I thought waffles would work." he sighed, "We'll just have to improvise."

Ciaran did the same and nodded, "Good luck, Helena." he said before getting up and headed towards the library.

"You can drink as much as you want." she murmured, kissing him on the neck.

"Just start knocking heads?" he suggested.

"You, too, brother."

"I'll take you up on that," he said, choosing his next victim - an artsy hipster in a plaid shirt and black skinny jeans. He smiled charmingly. "Hey."
He smiled back. "Hey. Enjoying yourself?"
"Oh yeah. You?"
"Pretty awesome party."
Skylar wrapped his arms around the boy's waist, pulling him close.

"Sounds good to me," He said, "Lead the way, good sir. He's your crazy cousin after all."

Ciaran glanced around the library, looking around for Koran.

Dawn smirked, moving to her next victim, a girl who was way to wasted. She didn't even bother making small talk, instead she murmured, "Don't move," and bit down at her neck.

"This is true." Leo followed Avan down the hall.

Avan stepped into the room, grinning at the intoxicated teenagers in front of him. He pulled a knife and stabbed the first person who stepped near him.
"Oh sh--" Leo tackled him from behind, dragging him down to the floor.

Screams filled the air, as well as the smell of the blood, causing the new vampires to start to grow twitchy and crave it.
"The hell?" Dawn hissed.
Drake ran forward and started to hit Avan with the waffle in his hand, "No, stabbing is wrong!" he lectured.

(BAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!)

In any other circumstance, Leo would be rolling on the floor laughing his head off except that his cousin was being possessed by a demon. "Drake, help me pin him down," he said, grabbing Avan's hands.

"Alright," Drake nodded, attempting to pin him down from the legs.
"What are you guys doing here?" Dawn demanded, "I don't like party crashers." she hissed, blood staining her lips.

"Would you rather have a knife through your throat?" Leo snapped back, crawling onto Avan's stomach and pinning him to the floor. "You can't move. Might as well give up."
Avan stilled and snarled. "Get off me, you worthless piece of flesh!"
"Now that's not nice. Avan - the real Avan - look at me. Focus. You're letting this demon feed on your anger. Relax."

Dawn frowned, looking over at Skylar, "What should we do?" she asked. She had no more care for mortals, even the ones she called her friends. Her blood lust took over that.
"Think about waffles man, and ponies, and and kissing hot girls, that's always nice." Drake said.

Leo snickered. "Avan. Avan."
He struggled less and his own expressions leaked through slowly as he regained control.
"Your knife," Avan rasped.
"What?"
"Your knife. You've killed a demon with it. Cut me. It'll help me get control," he ground out through his teeth.
Leo hesitated.
"NOW!"
"OK. OK." He pulled out his knife and cut Avan across the chest, not bad enough to do any real damage, but enough to draw some blood.
Avan gasped and threw his head back. He exhaled slowly as he regained control. He rolled onto his side as Leo slipped off. "Thanks," he hissed, touching the wound.
Skylar didn't speak - only watched his cousin writhe on the ground.

"Yay, you're back." Drake grinned.
Dawn smelled the blood and her eyes turned red, "You smell that?" she asked with a smirk.

"Ah crap muffins," Leo muttered. "Out. All of you. Out."
Avan scrambled to his feet and retreated out the door. "We need to go to Lionheart. This has gone too far."

The new fledglings tried to get to Avan, but Drake put himself in front of the door, preventing them from exiting, "There are freaking vamps? The hell! How did this happen?"
Dawn frowned at Skylar, "You had a perfect chance to get some of that blood, why didn't you?"

"He . . . he's my cousin," Skylar answered dumbly, stepping back against the wall.
"Dawn was bit and she drank from a vamp. She didn't die, so she's not a full vampire. She can be cured, but she can also turn others, like she did with Skylar and that room full of people. We need to leave and tell Lionheart. Now."

"No he's not." Dawn said, cornering him, "He's a human, he's our pray. Let go of your stupid emotions." she ordered, "They'll only get in your way."

"Then let's freaking go!" Drake said, grabbing them by the wrists and led them towards Lionhart's quarters, freaking out the whole way as vampires ran after them.

Skylar stared at her blindly, barely hearing her.

"OK, let's go faster," Leo said, taking off at a sprint alongside Avan.

Dawn narrowed her eyes, "Are you even listening? Go after them! I created you, and you are to listen!"

"Don't touch me don't touch me!" Drake cried, as they ran at his heel, "ONE TOUCHED ME!" he cried loudly, moving faster.
