"Never hurts to have backup handy though." He handed her phone back.

"Thank ya." Dawn smiled, putting her phone in her pocket.
Drake finished typing in his information for Avan's phone, adding the name, "Awesome Guy" for the contact. He handed it over to Avan, "There." he said, leaning back in the chair.
"We'll be there soon, so get ready." She winked.

Avan laughed at the name. "I'll always know who that is."

"Don't you ever forget it." Drake smirked, "Especially when I finish the test with flying colors."

"I shall be consumed with jealousy for the rest of the week if that happens," Avan stated, grinning broadly.

"Damn right." he smirked. He felt the train slow down to a stop, "Looks like we're in the city, time to kick some ass." he said, getting up from his seat.

"I love me some good ass-kicking," Avan agreed, following him out.

Dawn exited after them. As they exited from Grand Central station, she felt an odd sensation go through her, almost compelling her to walk down a certain street. "Does anyone else feel this strange feeling?" she murmured.
"I just feel like going that way," he said, pointing to the right, "Not sure why."
"Maybe we're connected to our targets in a way?" Dawn though aloud.

"Makes sense. Our blood did react to their blood." He followed, growing more and more excited by the second.

Dawn's mind began to race, wondering how she was going to be able to bring down the werewolf, if she could. She shook her head, not allowing doubt to get the better of her.
As they reached the end of the block, Drake suddenly said, "I . . I think I'm going to go this way." he muttered, a bit out of sorts and headed down an opposite street.
Dawn was tempted to call him back, but she knew that his target was close, and she wouldn't stop him. She glanced over at Avan, "Let's continue, then."

"Let him follow his own path. Come on." He grinned and gestured with his head. His hand went to the weapon at his belt, more than ready to face his vampire.

Dawn looked at him and nodded, continuing to walk next to him. She wasn't sure if she was following Avan or her target. "It looks like we'll be in the same area at least." she said with a relieved smile.

Drake wandered down the street, his hands in his pockets. He felt himself be drawn into a luscious hotel at the corner of one of the streets. He looked up at it for a few moments before muttering, "Let's get this over with."

"That's a relief. In case one of us needs backup."

Dawn smiled at him happily. She continued to walk with him, but found herself stop in front of a rundown building that was boarded shut. A shiver went through her spine and she looked over at Avan, "I think this is the place." she murmured.

Drake headed up the stairs of the hotel, trying to avoid any management there that wanted to stop him. He found himself on the top floor and opened his backpack. Inside was his scythe, in miniature form. He held it in his right hand and it grew to normal size. He took a deep breath as he made his way to the door.

"You feel it, too?" he murmured. He exhaled. "Well, let's go."

"I've got your back." she said reassuringly as she entered the house. She took out her claw gauntlets and slipped them onto her hands as she made her move.

Drake stood at the door and released a small breath of air before kicking the door down. He twirled his scythe over his head as he entered, looking around the suit. He heard a startled scream and a women, partially naked, run out of the room past him.
"The hell?" an annoyed voice grumbled from the bedroom. The voice had a distinct Irish accent, "What is it now?" he muttered.
Drake readied himself for his target, excited with the hunt.

"And I've got yours." He wrapped the chained weapon around his hand and kept the knife by his knee.

"Thanks," She said quietly and entered the house. She glanced around and crept forward, keeping all senses on high alert.

A girl named Aimee with long brown hair sat on a battered couch. She got up as she distantly heard someone come through the door, "Did you hear that?" she asked.

Drake looked as the faerie came out of the room, his chest bare and his abs showed as he wore grey sweatpants. His short blonde hair was styled perfectly. Drake felt his heart race just looking at him.
"Ah, looks like I got assigned to the Test." the faerie muttered, "Fantastic. You're unfortunate to have me as a target."

Avan followed on her heels, catching every movement she didn't.

"Be ready, we have guests." she said quietly, as she moved towards the stairs, silent on her feet.

Dawn frowned, stopping. She had a bad feeling about this. She glanced over at Avan, a worried expression on her face.

Drake shook his head, trying to get himself back on track. He readied his weapon, "You'll be an easy pray."
The faerie chuckled and it sounded like music. He strode over to him and looked at him with his perfect light green eyes, "You don't want to hurt me," he murmured, caressing his cheek. Drake froze, enthralled. All feelings of wanting to harm the faerie disappeared and were replaced by lust.

Francais sighed. "Well, I guess this won't take long. Come along, mon aimèe. Let's have some fun."

Avan just nodded. "We have to go through with this, no matter the danger."

"Happily, I was getting bored." Aimee murmured and kissed him on the cheek before heading downstairs.

Dawn nodded, "Right." she felt on edge and nervous about the whole thing.

"Fantastic. Can't have you getting bored, can we?" He pulled her up after him.

Avan reached out and touched her shoulder gently. "I'm right here with you."

"No we can't." Aimee grinned wickedly. She made it to the end of the stairs and heard the two, "Time to have fun, let's get them by surprise." she smirked.

"Thanks, Avan," she smiled, "same here."

"We should ambush them. Make them squirm." Francais grinned wickedly and kissed her neck. "We do love playing with our food."

"Just keep calm and focus." He nodded with an encouraging smile. He had been doing this since childhood, but not everyone had to go through that torture.
