Fang heart pang with distress at his friends words, and how scared he seemed, "Colin, I'll help you get to the boat, but I can't go with you after that. I have to save the people of this town."

Colin nodded, pressing his fingers to his eyes. He wiped away any escaped tears. He looked over at Chloe. "We need to bring her, too." He closed his eyes, mentally cursing himself for being so weak. "I'm sorry," he whispered.

"Hey, don't beat yourself up about this," Fang said, putting his hands on Colin's shoulders, "You can't control this and your safety comes first during times like this."

"I promise I won't," he said, giving Colin a thumbs up and a smile, "We'll get this done as soon as possible." he looked over at Chloe and sighed, "Take good care of her, you hear?"

"I will. She'll be alright." He punched Fang's shoulder lightly. "Go be the hero." Colin got to his feet and knelt down next to Chloe. He shook her shoulder gently. "Chloe, wake up, come on. You're alright."

Chloe whimpered, opening her eyes, "Colin," she said in a small, child like voice.

Fang looked at the two for a moment before morphing into a wolf and ran back towards Devon to finally set things right.

"Come on, let's get back to the ship. We'll be well out of range there. Can you stand?" he asked gently.

"Everything sorted?" Devon asked.

"Y-yeah," she nodded, getting up to her feet, though her legs were a bit shaky, "Let's just get out of here," she whispered.

"Yep, let's just end this madness right away." Fang said, climbing up the crates and onto the roof.

Colin put a steadying hand on her back. "I don't think I'll be able to sleep again."

Devon followed close behind, using his sense of hearing and touch to feel his way up. He had gotten skilled to maneuvering without his eyes. "See anyone?" he asked, stepping onto the roof.

"Me either, hopefully they'll beat the crap out of whoever is in charge of this." she said with a tired smile.

"No," Fang frowned, glancing around. He looked up in the distance, at the trees and noticed a figure in one, "Wait, there's someone over there I think." he muttered, focusing in on the person.

"They better." He kept to the beach, enjoying the feeling of sand crunching under his shoes and the sound of the waves.

"Let's go then!" Devon said, urging him on.

Chloe felt her strength start to come back as they continued to travel away from the town, "I still feel guilty, not helping them." she said quietly.

"Right," Fang nodded, looking at Devon and Jade, "I'll bring him over to us, so be ready," he transformed into a hawk and headed towards the boy. The boy looked up at Fang as he flew right in front of him.
"You're starting to get annoying," the boy frowned, opening his strange black eyes as he got up to his feet. He couldn't be any older than 16, and his black hair fell over his forehead, partially covering the black rose tattoo on his forehead.
So, Death's Bloom is in charge of this. Fang frowned and flew back as the boy slashed a sword at him.
"Catch me if you can." Fang smirked, starting to fly back. The boy followed after him, jumping from tree to tree branch .

Jade saw them coming and concentrated mentally. The sleep was really beginning to take a toll on her, but she ignored it. Just a little longer.

Fang brought the boy back to the roof the others were on and morphed into a wolf, growling at the boy who rolled his eyes.
"So threatening. I guess the two of you have resistance to my . . . abilities, but you do not." he said, pointing his sword at Jade.

"Yet, all a matter of time," he shrugged, "After all, your friends are probably driven to madness by the want to sleep, and the nightmares." he smirked.
"Shut it." Fang growled.

The boy smirked, and drew his blade off as Fang lunged at him, digging the blade into his chest. Fang snarled as the boy dug the blade away from Fang's body.

The boy sidestepped just in time with perfect grace and smirked at Jade, "Time to sleep already, traitor." he murmured.

"No." Jade said, gritting her teeth against the fresh wave of tiredness. Her fire sputtered all the way out as she struggled to remain conscience, losing ground.
