Colin wrapped an arm around Fang, pulling him closer. He folded his other arm under his head and pressed his forehead against Fang's temple. The adrenaline caused by the nightmare ebbed away.

Devon grumbled something incoherent and fought his way out of the bed sheets. "The covers tried to kill me is all," he muttered, kicking his feet free and getting up.

Fang still was worried about Colin but pushed it away, he had to trust him. "We should get Chloe to cook for us." he smirked.

"Those damned covers." she laughed, "Sorry that they gave you a hard time."

He chuckled. "That might be pushing it. I could help her if anything."

"They decided it was time for me to leave," he joked.

"I rather you just sit here with me and look handsome." he murmured.

Chloe laughed, "Well, we better get you out of here then. Do you want any breakfast?" she asked, leading the way down the stairs.

Colin laughed. "Well, in that case, I'll stay here. I don't want you to suffer from withdrawals or anything."

"I'm starving!" he gushed, following her out.

"Good," Fang said, pulling Colin closer.

"So is Skitty." she said, the cat was meowing from down the stairs, demanding to be fed. "What do you want to eat?" she asked.

Colin smiled and ran a hand through Fang's already sleep-mussed hair. It was soft and thick between his fingers.

"I dunno. What do you have?" He hopped up onto the nearest counter.

Fang chuckled low in his throat, but jumped as the cat jumped onto the bed and hissed at him, swiping at his face, "Damn cat." he muttered, the scratch forming on his face as the cat ran away, "We've never seen eye to eye."

"Cereal, fruit, pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, etc." Chloe said, "You name it."

"Well, considering you have an affinity for dogs, I'd say not." He wiped away the thin line of blood with his thumb. "You've survived worse though," he murmured, kissing the scratch.

"Bacon. Bacon sounds good. And fruit. Lots and lots of fruit."

"I don't think I'll survive." Fang sighed dramatically.
"Coming right up," she said, getting some bacon strips out of the fridge. "Colin, Fang, do you want anything?"

"Oh hush, or I'll scratch you myself," he chuckled. Colin sat up. "Have any eggs?" he asked, smiling at her.

"Yep, mind helping me out around the kitchen?" she asked, getting a fry-pan out for the eggs.
"Nope, he's staying with me." Fang smirked.

"I'll come help. Least I can do. Let me go, Fang," he ordered, chuckling.

"Fine." Fang sighed, lounging back on the bed, letting Colin go.
"Thanks for your sacrifice, Fang." Chloe laughed, cutting up various fruits.
"Anytime. Also, I want eggs and bacon."

Colin leaned over and kissed his forehead. "I'll be back soon with your food." He trotted to the kitchen to help. "How'd you sleep, Devon?"
"Like a baby. Yourself?"
"Not bad. Bed's comfy."
"Yeah, or Fang is," he teased.
Colin cuffed him round the ear. "He was a dog at the side of the bed."
"Sure, sure."
Colin shook his head and laughed. "Alright, what do you want me to do?"

"Awh, that's no fun." Chloe sighed, "Just keep an eye on the bacon and eggs for me, please." she said, flashing a smile.

"You two are crazy," he laughed, manning the skillet. "We're new at this whole, thing remember."

"So, it's fun to take it fast." Chloe winked.
"I'm sorry, Chloe. I didn't realize you were apart of this relationship and the decisions we make." Fang said, rolling his eyes.

"What he said," Colin agreed, gesturing in Fang's direction. He smiled though. Devon and Chloe meant well. They were just excitable.

"Fine, fine." Chloe said, rolling her eyes, handing a bowl of fruit to Devon.

Devon found the fork and started gnawing on a piece of pineapple. Colin scraped the finished eggs and bacon onto two plates. He handed three pieces to Devon and split the eggs between himself and Fang. "Want any eggs or bacon, Chloe?"

"I'll just have cereal." she said, getting on her toes and grabbed a box.
Fang got up and stretched, "Thanks, Colin, and Chloe too I guess." he smirked.

"It's her food, so you better thank her," Colin remarked, taking his own plate and leaning against the counter to eat.

Fang ate sitting up, leaning against the fridge as he stabbed at his egg and started to chew at it, "It's great."
"Good." Chloe grinned, starting to eat her bowl of cereal.

"Thanks for letting us crash and eat your food," Colin said, grinning with a full mouth.
