Faith's Edge RP

"Are you trying to scare me with that?" Jade asked, looking at the blade scornfully. "It doesn't matter what group I am or was in."

"So, youre not in it anymore?" Chloe picked up, drawing the blade back, "I just want to talk then."

"I'm not real big on talking." Jade said, though she stayed put this time.

"Faith's Edge has been concerned about Death's Bloom and its return," Chloe explained, letting the light evaporate. She watched out of the corner of her eyes as people passed by, staring at the two, "if you're not with them anymore, you could help us."

Jade laughed softly and darkly "Help you? Just because I hate the vast majority of Death's Bloom doesn't mean I like you all much better. You've hurt us as much as we've hurt you."

Chloe frowned, admitting in a way it was true. "But we haven't harmed you, if you dislike the other group, we can help you get whatever revenge you need, in return for information." she said lightly.

((So so so tired, sorry if none of my posts make sense. Off to bed, I'll be on a lot more tomorrow,I promise ))

"I don't have the time to think about revenge, I'm just trying to avoid them at the moment and survive." Jade muttered,p lacing her hands on her hips and looking down at the ground.

Chloe let down her guard, understanding that this girl wasn't like the Death's Bloom mages she had heard of. This girl didn't seem obsess with revenge, unlike them, she seemed different, which gave her hope.
"Then come to Faith's Edge, we can keep you safe." she offered, a bright smile on her face

"I don't need help." Jade insisted stubbornly. "Though a place to sleep tonight might be nice." she admitted, relenting a little.

Chloe grinned, "Then off to Faith's Edge." she laughed happily, taking Jade's hand and leading the way through the crowd.

Jade started to shy away from the contact, but forced herself to relax. This was by far the craziest thing she'd done yet.

Chloe knew that others at Faith's Edge wouldn't be pleased bringing a Death's Bloom member into their place, but she didn't care. She knew Jade needed a place to stay and she wasn't going to turn her down. She continued to pull Jade along until they reached the outside of Faith's Edge.

"This is about to get awkward." Jade muttered, figuring she was not going to be welcome..at all. But that wasn't so different from before.

Chloe looked over at her, giving her a reassuring smile, "Balthasar is kind, he'll allow you to stay the night. But, he may ask a few questions." she said bluntly.

"I may not answer all of them." Jade replied, equally blunt.

"Fair enough." Chloe laughed, "Lets go in then." she grinned heading towards the entrance

Here goes nothing Jade thought as she followed Chloe into the building.

Chloe opened the large doors into the building and announced in a loud voice, "I'm back!"
"That was quick," Daveth, a member in his mid-twenties commented with a smirk, "thought you'd be gone for a while."
"Yeah, we heard you were looking for Fang, where is he?" Vince, who was the same age as his friend, asked as he took a sip from his mug.
"He's still not back," Chloe said shortly, as she moved over to them.
"Eh?" Daveth raised an eyebrow, looking at Jade, "Who did you bring here?"
"This is Jade, say hello Jade." Chloe smiled.

Jade shot a quizzical look at Chloe, not sure yet whether the girls personality amused or irritated her.
"Hi, I'm Jade." she said to the two, introducing herself.

"Nice to meet ya Jade." Daveth smirked, "What are you doing here, though?"
"She needs a place to stay, I'm going to ask Balthasar if she can stay here." Chloe answered for her.
"Not sure if the old man'll like that." Daveth responded.
"He'll be fine with it," Chloe said, rolling her eyes, "If not she can stay with me. C'mon, Jade." she called, leading her towards the spiral stairs.

"Alright." Jade said, following Chloe once again

As they got away from the other members of Faith's Edge, she grinned again, "They don't know you were from Death's Bloom, so that's some good news."

"They're find out soon enough. It's not like I'm miss bundle of sunshine over here." Jade said sarcastically

"Trying to help you, could due without the attitude." Chloe frowned, as she lead her down the hall towards Balthasar's room, "Behave yourself, alright?"

"Habit sorry I will." Jaded promised, though she didn't know if she could...
