Faith's Edge RP

Colin chuckled low in his throat. Both hands came up to cradle Fang's neck. He could smell the sea water on his skin and in his hair. His mouth tasted of it. He was drowning in the warmth and comfort of Fang's touch.

"Don't tell me you're copping off some 'get strong quick' method. I've tried those. They don't work. I'll get there in time."

Fang broke away, breathing heavily against Colin's cheek, "You're wonderful, you know that right?"

Eris smirked, "I suppose it doesn't appeal. You're blind though. What if I told you it could give you your sight? "

"You're not so bad yourself," he whispered, still holding Fang's neck between his hands. He kissed his cheek and collarbone. Colin dusted the sand from Fang's hair and smiled. "I love you. I feel like I don't say that enough."

Devon's breath caught. "You could do that?" he asked, hesitant but hopeful.

"I don't mind hearing it more." He murmured, "I love you too, though. Forever and always. "

"By blood magic. You can take the sight from someone else. You deserve it more then them." She smirked as she got him.

"I'm keeping you to that," he teased. Colin let his hands drop to his sides.

He hesitated again. "From someone else?"

"Good." Fang smirked, unpinning Colin, "Am I getting better at being romantic? "

"Yes. You can struggle with that all you want but deep down you know you deserve sight more then anyone else." Eris murmured.

He laughed. "Definitely getting there." He squirmed on his back and tucked an arm under Fang's head.

Devon hesitated and stayed silent for a long time. "No one deserves to be blind. It's . . . It's not something I'd wish on anyone."

"I've never been good with my emotions so cut me some slack." He smirked

"Then I guess you'll never get what you want. Such a shame since I was going to teach you and everything. "

"I'm a pretty understanding guy. I'm willing to wait." He propped himself up on his elbow and kissed Fang's forehead before lying back down. "I've never had a problem in that area."

Devon swallowed hard. "But, theoretically, if I said yes to getting my sight back. How long would it take?"

Fang smiled, "You're lucky then. I sorta envy you for that." He sighed

Eris smirked, "Not very long depending if you can use blood magic. Are you willing to try? "

"And I envy your strength. So there, nicely balanced relationship of jealousy." He rubbed Fang's shoulder. "Just relax. I won't force you to do anything you don't want to."

Devon picked at the grass and chewed his lip. "Yeah, yeah. Let's try."

"Well, I suppose neither of us are perfect." He smirked, kissing him on the neck, "And I know, thank you for being so patient." he murmured.

"Then get up." Eris said, standing across from him. She spread out her arms, "Focus on the flow of my blood, and try to control me."

"It'd be really boring if we were both perfect." He smiled at Fang. "Of course."

Devon did as he was told and listened to her feet brush against the leaves. Once he pinpointed where she was standing, he exhaled and listened closely.

Fang pecked him with a kiss before laying back in the sand. The sun's warmth made him feel content and at rest.

Eris's heart beat at a regular pace, wondering if Devon was capable and if so how she could use him.

Colin smiled and closed his eyes. "I'm gonna be so burnt," he mumbled then sighed. "Maybe I'll tan. For once."

Finally, he was able to pick out her heartbeat. He could hear her heart pounding in her chest and the whispered rush of blood that followed each beat. He focused on it until his own heart matched the rhythm. Every sound around him seemed to sync with their heartbeats. "I've got it," he murmured, barely containing his excitement.

"Maybe." Fang smirked, "You'd think you'd be used to being in the sun so much. Didn't you use to live on the shore?"

"Try to control my body." She smirked.

"One would think. And yes, I did. I came home with a sunburn every night. If I don't die of some terrible wound, it'll be from skin cancer." He twisted a smile and opened one eye. "But I go back to being pasty as ever."

Devon scowled, concentrating. He focused on where a string of veins traveled to. They stopped and curled at her fingers. Mentally, he tugged on the fingers in an attempt to curl her fingers into a fist.

Fang smirked, "Well I can't rescue you from the sun so I guess I'll have to deal with a burnt you."

Eris"s fingers curled into a loose fist and she smirked, "Looks like you have lots of potential, dear."

He sighed dramatically. "Alas. Alack. Woe is we."

"Still don't like the dear, but thank you."

"You're such a loser." He teased

Eris smirked, "I need to get to know you more before I teach you anymore. "

"But I'm a cute loser."

"I put peanut butter on my carrots and I can imitate 20 different kinds of birds. Anything else you'd like to know?" he asked dryly.

"Yes you are." He grinned, playfully nipping his earlobe.

Eris laughed musically, "More then that I'm afraid. You're a mage, are you apart of a guild?"

Colin twitched and stifled a giggle. Fang's breath tickled his neck.

He screwed up his face. "Ah. Guild? I'm with Faith's Edge . . . if that's what you mean?"

Fang growled playfully as he let go of his ear. "let's do something. "

"Interesting .. you could be useful then." Eris smirked

"Alright. Anything specific in mind?" he asked, rolling into his side. He propped himself up over Fang. "I like doing things."

He narrowed his eyes. "How so?"
