"We can handle him," Chloe said with a wink, "We won't let him take you away."

"I don't want you guys to get involved, what if you get hurt? I really should just leave..." Jade mumbled

"No way, Jade, you're not going," Chloe said almost sternly, "You're our friend, and we'll protect you. If we get hurt, we'll heal overtime, and it's worth it to keep you with us."

Jade looked at Chloe with surprise "Really?" she asked

"Really," Chloe said with a nod then smiled at her.

Jade remained silent for a minute, unsure what to respond. "We'll see what happens then."

"No matter what, the four of us will always be together as a team." Chloe vowed.

"We should come up with a team name." Jade joked semi-sarcastically.

"We totally should," she beamed, "People in Faith's Edge usually group up to do missions together, and some have names, we could do that."

Jade chuckled "If you want to. I won't come up with any good ones."

"Give me some time, and I'll come up with one," she winked.

"Oh, I can't wait." Jade laughed lightly

Chloe looked up at the night sky, lost in thought as she walked alongside the group. She still felt emotionally exhausted from what had occurred, and the nightmares were still fresh in her head.

Jade looked through the darkness as they walked, thinking about the boy, and the nightmares, grateful she'd barely been able to remain awake.

"Maybe we should stick around here for a while longer, even after Fang heals," Chloe suggested idly, "We could use a break before going back home, and there is a beach around here."

"We could." Jade said "If you guys want to."

"Maybe we should ask the others after this madness," Chloe sighed, still nervous about Fang's condition.

"Yeah, once everyone's settled down and okay." Jade agreed

"At least this is all over," Chloe sighed in relief.

"Yeah, that was not fun." Jade replied

Colin and Blayk lied Fang down on a bed. Blayk looked up, sighing in relief at the familiar footsteps. "Good, you're awake. Everyone, this is my dad. Dad, meet Jade, Chloe, Colin, and the injured one is Fang. I think the wound needs to be cauterized. It's too deep to close up on its own."
"Alright, I'll do that. Please, make yourselves at home," Blayk's father said with a welcome smile. "I'll tend to your friend."

"Thank you," Chloe said with a bow, "We are in your debt." she smiled slightly.

"Thank you." Jade said with a small smile. "I can help you cauterize the wound if you need." she offered

"Please. I'll need a pair of extra hands for this." He rolled up his sleeves and gathered the supplies necessary for the process.
Colin slipped from the room. He couldn't watch this.

Chloe looked over at Colin as he left the room. She looked over at Jade, realizing she'd be busy so followed after Colin, "Hey, are you alright?"
