"Food from street vendors always is. It has to be good or no one will buy it, so I've learned," Taemin said, savoring the snack. "But this is pretty fantastic. Hey, look!" he exclaimed, pointing to the sky. An acrobat was doing his performance over the street. He flung himself into the air, flipping, twirling, and twisting before catching himself on the wire and starting again.

Rai chose one for herself and stood opposite him. "Ladies first, huh?" she asked. Rai jumped, swinging her sword hard and fast for his shoulder.

"Ah I see." She then looked up, watching, fascinated but it didn't show. "Cool." was all she said.

"I am a gentleman, ever all." he smirked and parried the attack, bringing the sword up in front of hers before jabbing at her stomach.

"Cool? Cool? That's amazing! You're very hard to impress." He gestured excitedly at her with the stick.

Rai deflected and danced aside. She came at him again, aiming for his chest.

"Yep." She smirked, "If I seem excited about things, it would cause more trouble. I've learned to cleanse myself from those kinds of emotions."

Hikaru was unable to dodge it in time and smirked, "Looks like you got me."

"What the seven hells does that mean?" he asked with a laugh.

She clicked her tongue. "Looks like. You have to be better than that. Come on. Again. Your turn this time."

"It might mean nothing, I may be babbling, but if you show excitement like that, people will feed off of it, find ways to even make you pay money to keep you excited. I don't know at the brothel we get money off of peoples excitement."

"Fine." he said, twisting to the side and jabbed at her sides with greater speed.

"Clever and smart. I'm liking you more and more. Well, theoretically, what does get you excited?"

Rai parried and deflected all of them but the last that nicked her in the side. "There's your first."

"I'm not telling." she winked, "Get to know me better and you'll find out for yourself."

He smirked, "Finally." he took a step back, waiting for her to strike.

"And now you're indirectly forcing me to spend more time with you. I see what you're doing," he joked. "Not that I'm against it or anything. You're interesting."

Rai circled around him and lunged again, switching from his ribs to his head in the last second.

"Good, I'm glad you think so." she said, pleased.

Hikaru brought his sword up quickly to parry it, "Nice try." he smirked.

"There's a shop up here that looks interesting. Mind if we take a look?"

"It was worth a shot," she replied with a grin. Rai took a step back before stabbing at him again, keeping it down low at his knee.

"Sure, I suppose." Mitsuki nodded, following behind him.

Hikaru jumped back in time though lost his footing and staggered back.

"What girl doesn't like shopping? I'll pay if you spot anything." He took Mitsuki's hand and ducked into the shop. Everything was handmade, bright, and light.

Rai followed up and pushed him with the tip of her sword.

"Well. I'm not a prince. I only buy hat I need." she explained, looking around.

"Ah!" Hikaru grunted as he fell back.

"But you're with a prince, so you can be frivolous," he reasoned with a charismatic grin. He sifted through the tunics. "I need to get something for my sister, too."

Rai laughed and caught him before he fell completely.

"Oh right, the Princess, I heard she was marrying the Prince." she said idly, looking at some of the dresses.

"Well, I guess you got me there." he said with a smile.

He scowled. "Cillian," he said with mock reverence. "Yeah, neither of us are happy about that. She never wanted to marry." He picked up a rich purple tunic with silver laces and detailing. After settling on it, he moved over to the dresses.

"Looks like." She pulled him upright. "Want another go?"

"Sometimes we have to make sacrifices." She shrugged, "You can always send him to me, I can get his mind off of your sister."

"Sure." he nodded, grinning, "Let's do this."

He grinned. "I might have to set up a whole brother-in-law night. Maybe Father would rethink it."

"Alright." She paused before jumping again, slashing downward at his sword arm.

"I wouldn't mind helping you with that, as a favor of course. Don't think I actually work at the brothel because I enjoy it."

Hikaru twisted out of the way before slashing at her stomach.

"Of course. It'd be a favor and I'd repay it. And I never assumed you were there for the pleasure. I don't think any of them are. And I don't go there just for the pleasure either." He smiled fleetingly and picked out a long, flowing yellow and silver dress for his sister. She loved yellow.

Rai stepped forward too far, leaving her back exposed.

Mitsuki was interested by that, "Then why do you go?"

Hikaru turned around her and struck at her back.

"A couple reasons. For one, I always overpay the girls so they can get out of there and live independently one day. Everyone says I take advantage of them and their situation, but I really don't. Sometimes, I don't even touch them. Sometimes we just talk. Usually there's kissing and whatnot involved, but I don't make them do anything they don't want to do. One time, they sent a 13-year-old girl to me." He smiled faintly. "We just goofed around for a couple hours. We told jokes, played music, and she taught me how to draw. I payed her of course because I had a good time. Another reason is that if I didn't make a scene and be controversial and wild, my father wouldn't even look at me. But if I fight, whore, and make a big scene, he'll pay attention, even if it's not the attention I want." He smiled apologetically. "Sorry. I was rambling."

Rai fell forward with a grunt. She stabbed her sword into the dirt and twisted around, sending up a wave of sand and dirt towards him.

"No, it's fine." Mitsuki said, a little surprised by what he had said, "I never would've thought that was why you would come to the brothel."

Hikaru coughed, stumbling back blindly as the dirt stung his eyes.

He chuckled. "Like you, I'm more than a pretty face," he said with a wink. "Now, is there anything you want?"

Rai took advantage of the distraction and sprinted for him, aiming to knock out his knees.
