"Ah, I see," Ur nodded, "well, there will be tribal wear and stuff that you can put on. It's really quite comfy." she smiled.

"Two ways we can do this. We can wait until they come back, or I can go after them," Lyon said, examining the swords.

"Cool. Can't wait."
Jiyang snickered.
"What's wrong with you?" Rai asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Cool. We're going to the Northern Water Tribe. Where it's cold."
"You're lame."
"Lame and proud."

"I'd rather not run the risk of them coming back here and destroying something," she murmured.

Ur laughed, "I thought it was clever." she said in defense of Jiyang.

"Then I'll go and put a stop to them," Lyon said, sheathing the swords.

"At least she appreciates my humor. Thank you, Ur. You're my favorite."
Rai laughed. "I'm terribly sorry."
"No, you're not."
"You're right. I'm not, but I like you all the same."

Yuri nodded, biting the tip of her thumb nervously. "Thank you so much, Lyon. Do . . . do you want me to come with you?"

Ur laughed, "Yay, I'm the favorite for once." she grinned.

Lyon looked at her, "Only if you want to, I won't force you to come."

"Enjoy it while it lasts," Jiyang teased.

"I'll come with you, just in case." She grabbed a sword from the wall and slung the sheath across her back.

"Hey, what's that suppose to mean?" she frowned, crossing her arms.

"Alright, but if it gets too dangerous, I want you to get out of the way."

He smiled cheekily. "Nothing."

She nodded. "Alright. Just be careful, OK?"

Ur sniffed, "You're not my favorite anymore, now Rai is."

"I promise." he said with a small smile, "I've faced worse than just a bunch of punks." he said as he headed out the door.

"So . . . I'm your favorite, and you're Jiyang's favorite," Rai said slowly.
"The real question is: who's your favorite, Rai?"
"I think I'm gonna keep that information to myself."

Yuri nodded and returned the smile. "We can take the ostrichorses if we need to."

"Come on, Rai! You've gotta tell us!" Ur exclaimed, "Pretty please?"

"If you think we should, I'm all for it. But . . " he hesitated, "I must confess, I've never ridden on one."

"OK . . . um. Aiyana's my favorite because she doesn't pressure me into choosing favorites."

"In that case, ride with me. You'll fall off otherwise."

"Fine whatever." She stuck out her tongue, "I guess it's all equal then, except for Lyon, but he'd probably say Jiyang or you."

"Alright," he said with an embarrassed look, "sounds good."

"Probably Jiyang. You stuck up for him after all," she pointed out.
He spread his arms out and leaned back, looking very smug.

She giggled. "Come on."

"I wonder if he's doing okay," Ur thought aloud, crossing her legs.

Lyon nodded, getting onto the ostrichorse behind her, "Where are they usually at?"

"I hope so," Rai murmured.

"They'll probably be in town ripping clerks off." She urged the ostrichorse into a steady trot.

"Sorry," Ur said with a light blush, "Probably shouldn't have brought him up."

"Alright," Lyon said, holding onto the saddle, "I'll make sure they won't do things like that again after I'm through with them."

"Oh, it's fine. I feel bad for running him off though."

"You have no idea how much this helps us," she murmured.

"Perhaps it's for the best. Who knows, we could always stumble upon another Firebender to teach you." she said optimistically, "One without a shady past."

"It's the least I can do after you took me in." Lyon replied.

"I don't know," she whispered, looking down at her hands. "Jiyang's got a shady past too, and he's still here."
"This is true."
"And I'm supposed to be helping people, giving them second chances, not forcing them to leave."
"Also true."

She smiled back at him. The town came into view a few moments later.

"Well, Jiyang was just a streetrat, no offense, not the nephew of the evilest man in the world." Ur pointed out.

"Wow." Lyon said aloud at the town. It was a lot different from what he was use to.

"In his defense, Lyon never did anything evil himself. I, on the other hand, have."

"Bit different to you, city boy?"

"Oh really?" Ur raised an eyebrow, "Like what?"

"Very." Lyon admitted, "Though it's a nice change."

Jiyang's face darkened. "Another time."

"It's a close community. No secrets though. Unfortunately."

"A-ah." Ur said, backing off a bit, "Alright, another time then."

"Ah I don't know if I'd like it here then." Lyon muttered.
