Avatar: The Last Airbender RP

Lyon was taken aback, "You're good." he muttered.
"Why would you lie," Ur asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Because I'm a fire bender, that's a good enough excuse to want to hide it."

"I don't blame you. I won't tell anyone," Jiyang said, finishing up on his wooden dagger. "Yeah, this thing could take out a guard if need be." He stuck it into his rope belt and got to his feet.

"You fire nation folk are interesting." Ur said, raising an eyebrow.

"We're fighters if nothing else," Jiyang stated.
A line of guards marched down the hall. "You get 20 minutes of yard time. No bending is allowed. If any fights get out of hand, you will be put into isolation without food or water for a day. Am I clear?" the head guard snapped.
"Yes, sir! Loud and clear!" Jiyang retorted, saluting. "Oh wait, you're a woman. I mean, Yes, ma'am!"
She whirled and snarled, but Jiyang only grinned charmingly and wiggled his fingers. "Hey."

Rai blinked as a guard opened her door.
"You get 20 minutes of yard time with the others. You'll be watched carefully, so don't try anything."
"Alright, alright. Relax."

Ur held back a laugh and looked at the boy, amused.
Twenty minutes? That'll have to do. Lyon said, avoiding eyecontact with the head guard in case she recognized him.

Aiyana stepped out of the cell calmly as they unlocked it. She wondered what exactly the others were planning on doing at this point.

Jiyang skirted around the guard, grinning and whistling all the way. "Yeah, alright, let's go make some friends, guys!"

Rai was escorted to the yard by a squadron of nine extremely nervous, jumpy guards. She smirked to herself. "You all look so scared. In a prison of highly dangerous criminals, I expected you all to be tougher."

Ur smirked, following after him. He's either fearless or stupid.
Lyon followed after them, his arms crossed, eyes looking towards the ground.

Aiyana followed everyone quietly, examining her surroundings.

Jiyang reached the yard first. He breathed in the smoke-tinted, fresh air. "Ah, the smell of captivity. Funny. I always thought it'd smell more like metal."

Rai stretched and yawned. "What to do now," she muttered to herself, glancing around. She tugged her hair back into a ponytail and began exploring the yard. Some looked like they fully belonged to be in jail while some looked as innocent as she was.

"You're very strange, you know that right?" Ur teased.
Lyon had his arms crossed as he glanced around the yard.

"Yes, I'm aware," he replied, sighing. "You haven't experienced the extent of my strangeness."

Rai circled the yard, arms crossed. Everywhere she went, the eyes of the guards followed her, putting her on edge. "I'm not that attractive," she muttered to herself, resting her hands on her biceps.

"I suppose I'll have to get us to it. We don't have people like you in the Northern Water Temple."
Lyon lingered away from them, deciding to see if he could find the avatar girl.

"Fire Nation spirit, baby!" he laughed.

Rai stopped walking as two, hulking men with tattoos and cut-off sleeves stopped in front of her. She sighed. "The intimidating thing doesn't work on me. Sorry, boys."
They chuckled gruffly. "What's a pretty girl like you doing here?"
"Fire Nation hates me for some reason."
"Kill someone?"
"Nope. Not in this life anyway."
"Steal something?"
"Nope."
"Attack the Firelord?"
"Not yet."
"So they're just pissed at you?"
"Something about my face, I suppose."
They exchanged glances. "How 'bout some protection?"
"Excuse me?"
"You're gonna get eaten alive here, girly. You'll need some muscle to keep you safe."
She grinned. "I'd be honored . . . what're your names?"
"Kangin and Seongmin. At your service."
"Fantastic. You can start by keeping these guards away from me."

"Hm, so I guess you all aren't that bad," Ur grinned, "That's . . reassuring since I guess we're stuck with each other for a while."

Jiyang smirked. "Wanna go walk around? See if we can find any possible escape routes?" he asked, lowering his voice.

Kangin and Seongmin quickly became her silent guardians. Everyone who passed by left her alone. Thankfully.
"Now, how to get out of here," she murmured to herself.
"That's going to be very hard," Kangin - who she discovered was the smarter of the two brothers - remarked, keeping his voice low.
"I'm sure I'll figure something out." She spotted a boy walking alone. That wasn't odd in this place, but there was something different about him. Something about the way he carried himself that made him stick out. "Know who he is?" she asked the brothers.
"I don't, Rai. Must be new," Kangin replied.
"Must be." She narrowed her eyes at him, curiosity getting the better of her.

"Yeah," Ur said with a slight nod, "Let's,"

Lyon looked over, noticing a girl accompanied by two men looking at him. He glanced away, feeling a bit uneasy at their looks.

"Alright." He did a full 360 spin. The whole second floor was lined with railing and dotted with guards. "We'll need a massive distraction."

"Smart boy," Seongmin rumbled.
"I'm going to go talk to him. He seems interesting. Try not to scare him." Rai let her hands fall to her sides and headed over with the brothers a couple steps behind.

"Yeah, but we can't be apart of it or we'll be put in isolation." Ur frowned, arms crossed.

Lyon looked over at the group, raising an eyebrow as they walked over but didn't say anything and stood on guard.

"I guess we'll need to make some friends," Jiyang said with a smile. "I have a few friends in here. Should we try to find one of them?"

Rai smiled, hoping to relax him. "Hello," she greeted. "You don't look like you belong here."

Ur made a face, but decided not to question it, "Sure, if you'll think it will help."

Lyon tensed a bit, "Neither do you," he said, looking at the two men at her side.

"Any help would be welcome, don't you think?" he asked, skimming the faces.

"Relax. This is Kangin and Seongmin. They're harmless. They've offered to protect me, for whatever reason. They had an urge to protect the teenage girl without a scar or tattoo in here. And no, I don't belong here. So, what did you supposedly do or not do?"

"I suppose, as long as they're . . nice." Ur said with a slight shrug.

Lyon nodded, "Right," he hesitated before responding, "I pissed off the Fire Lord, what about you?" He still felt at unease about his position, if people in the prison knew, it would be unpleasant for him.

Jiyang laughed hard and long. "Nice. Oh, you're so cute. You do realize that we're in a prison, right? Ah! Found one. Come with me. This guy is a bit of a charmer, but he's as nice as you're gonna get in here."

"Same," she replied with equal hesitation. If anyone found out just who she was, who knows what would happen. "Oh, I haven't even told you my name. I'm Rai. What's yours?"

"Hey," Ur huffed, "I was sheltered before this, alright?" she said defensively as she followed after him.

"Lyon," he replied, arms crossed, realizing he shouldn't use his own name but it was too late, "Looks like we have some things in common then." he said with a twitch of a smile.
