She snorted. "Where'd you get that idea?" She was trying to defend herself, putting on bravado. The last time she let someone else into her heart, he ended up falling for someone else.

Isabella closed her eyes, relieved for the moment. "Yeah. Ah. There she is." A tall, statuesque, but terrifying woman stood off to the side, talking to a couple other rebel leaders.
"Well, if it isn't ma petite cherie," Oceanè greeted, her French accent coming in thick on her delicate voice. She was decked out in guns, knives and other various weapons.
"Hello. I'm here to recruit a few people. I'm leading an attack on the gate by Alexander's estate, and I need some of the best soldiers to back me up."
"Of course you may help yourselvez to my ladiez." She looked at Alaric, raising an eyebrow. "Who iz your friend?"
"This is Alaric."
"Alaric. Enchantè," she said, holding out her hand.

"A-ah," Alaric said a bit flustered as he took her hand and bowed slightly, "It's a pleasure."

She flicked her long, jet-black ponytail over her shoulder and smiled, her bright green eyes meeting his. "Quite a handsome boy you are."
Isabella rolled her eyes. "If I remember correctly, your last three boyfriends ended up dead, Oca."
"Unfortunately, yes, zey did. It waz zeir own fault." She sniffed and glanced at Isabella. She knew jealousy when she saw it and cracked a smile. "I'll zend my girlz to you."
"Merci boucoup."
"De rein." She smiled at Alaric one last time before turning back to her girls, walking like she was on a catwalk.

Isabella reached the gates and looked at the growing crowd of people. At once side were Kashir's black-clad soldiers, Dustin's brown-clothed men, and Oceanè's silver, blue, and black steel and leather armor. There were about 100 total. "Excellent."

"I'd say so. I'll go get Scott and Israel and ask Duncan when we should head out. Stay here with the men, alright?"

"Babysit the men?" Alaric sighed, "Fine . ."

Duncan stood at the front of his estate, proud to see how the army was turning out.
"We've done well," Ross said, smiling up at Duncan who nodded.
"We may be able to take down Alexander once and for all."

"Just for a second!" she called over her shoulder before taking off. She passed Scott and Israel on the way. "Go to the gates!"
"Right," Scott said, leading Israel there.
Isabella found Alexander and Ross. She bowed shallowly. "My men are ready. When do you want us to head out?"

"Yes, we'll follow your lead," Duncan nodded, "But before we go off, here," he said, handing her a pouch of pills, "These reverse the affects of Reprogramming. In case you find any friends who are Reprogrammed, or you yourself get a situation where it is needed."

Isabella tucked the pills into her pocket for safekeeping. "Thank you. We should leave now. As soon as possible."

"Right, let us be off," Duncan nodded, starting to lead the troops.

Gen woke up, looking at Levi and smiled. "Hey," she said quietly.

Isabella smiled and sprinted for her men at the gates. She stopped next to Alaric. "Let's go! We'll be fighting against brave men, strong men, some stronger and braver than us." She smirked. "Let's go kill them."

He returned the smile. "Hey there. Good nap?"

"That's the spirit." Alaric grinned, "Lead the way."

"Yeah, it was," Gen smiled. She sat up, covering herself with the blankets as she heard commotion outside. She got up, blankets draping over her as she looked out the window. She saw soldiers preparing themselves for battle and she paled, "I guess the war is starting sooner than we thought. We maybe have a day or so."
