"Really? Do tell." Hikaru smirked.
Mitsuki crouched down, dodging it, "Do you really want to ruin my pretty face?" she purred and kicked at his chest.

"Well," Rai started with a smirk. "The Southern Princess always seems to disappear into his room whenever she visits with her father. And there are two noble girls famous in our court. Their daughters to the emperor's advisors. Very prestigious. Very loved. They'll swear up and down that they're still maidens. Taemin is many things, but he's not a liar."
He spun in towards Mitsuki until he was only a couple inches away from her face. If they weren't holding weapons, one would think they were dancing. "I think scars are sexy," he whispered. He used his free hand to dig into her stomach.

Hikaru smirked, "He seems to do well."
Mitsuki looked at him, eyes wide and caught off guard. She ended up stumbling back, accidently dropping one of her swords.

"He's a clever boy," she admitted reluctantly.
Taemin swept it up immediately and advanced on her. He avoided her remaining sword, and crossed the two of his over her throat. "Yield."

Mitsuki sneered, "You're a dirty cheater, Taemin." she said lowly, dropping her remaining sword.

"Honorable men don't win fights," he said with a wink. "Remember what the reward is."
"And we have a winner, ladies and gentlemen!" the host called. "Prince Taemin of the West Court!"

Physical Description: Muscular, fit build, tanned skin, short, black hair, squared jaw, bright blue eyes, 6'0", traces of a goatee, rough skin
Background: Born a bastard. His mother died when he was seven. Became an armor's apprentice a year later. He now helps run his master's armory and is considered the best in the Northern capitol city.

Mitsuki looked at him, obviously angry. She nodded stiffly before strutting away.
"Wow, I thought that was going to last longer." Hikaru frowned.

"I'm disappointed," Rai remarked, clicking her tongue sadly.
Taemin practically skipped over, more than satisfied with his performance. "I wish I had gone against you, Rai."
"I'm afraid you would've won. You did well today."
"I thought so, as well."
Someone screamed down the street. Taemin turned turns the sound. It was high and terrified.
"Demons!" another voice boomed. This one was deeper, steadier. He wasn't afraid.
Rai grabbed Taemin's wrist immediately and pulled him behind her.

Hikaru followed after them, sword in hand, "The hell, demons?" he hissed, "This has to be a trick."
Mitsuki heard the cries and ran in the opposite direction, deciding she was going to restore her pride as she was ready to take on the threat full on

"What are you doing?" Taemin yelled after Mitsuki before taking off.
"Prince Taemin!" Rai groaned in frustration and followed close behind.
Azam fended off three of the dragon-demons at once.

Mituski ran towards the demons, her swords shining cutting through them as they evapoarated into shadows. She narrowed her eyes, ignoring Taemin, and was too focused in trying to restore her pride by defeating the demons to notice one coming after her from behind.

Taemin threw himself between Mitsuki and the demon. The shadowy dragon collided with his arm, consuming it. He screamed and recoiled.
Azam stabbed the demon through the head. It screeched as it died. "What did it do?" he asked, gripping Taemin's shoulder.

Mitsuki turned around, eyes wide, but refused to lose her balance. She gritted her teeth as she defended Taemin and Azam from other demons.
Hikaru moved towards Taemin's side as well, "We've got to get you out of here."

"Taemin," Rai gasped, seeing the damage. "We all need to get out of here. Now. To the palace." She met Azam's eyes for only a moment, but the thanks was clear.

"Let's go, then." Hikaru said, picking up Taemin and started to him towards his estate.
Mitsuki followed behind a bit, trying to make sure the group wouldn't be followed.

Azam and Rai followed on Hikaru's heels, fending off whatever demons came near.

Hikaru shouldered open the door and looked over at Rai, "Which way to the infirmary?"
Mitsuki wasn't far behind them. She felt guilt coarse through her, she was the reason Taemin was hurt. But why did she care? It wasn't like her, she always just looked out for herself.

"This way," Rai said, leading him down the hall.

Hikaru followed, looking at Taemin's body, "I wonder what these demons are capable of." he said quietly.
Mitsuki hesitantly followed after the group.

"I'm almost afraid to fun out," Rai replied. She pushed open the infirmary doors. "Prince Taemin needs help. Demon attack in the square."
A monk and nurse rushed over.
"Oh dear. Lie him down in a bed," the old monk rasped.

Mitsuki ran after them, "Wait, I want to be there with him." she said, determinedly.
Hikaru looked over at her, noticing her as one of the contestants. He looked over at Rai to see what she had to say.

Kaya had gotten seperated from the group when the demons attacked the square. She'd tried to follow them, but lost sight of them just after she saw what happened to Taemin.
"They're probably heading toward the palace." she muttered to herself, turining and worming her way through the frantic crowd. She'd almost made it out when she spotted a shadow figure out of the corner of her eye. She moved just as the creature lunged toward her, and it went whizzing past, turning to face her. Now that she could see it, Kaya saw it looked like a dragon.
"Well, at least I'll get to kill something tonight." she muttered. She reached up and pulled te ornate chopstocks she'd had holding up her hair out. letting it fall down her back in waves. The chopsticks had a razor sharp blade on the inside, and as the creature lunged again, Kaya danced out of the way and brought one swiftly down toward its neck; landing a solid blow.

Hikaru's eyes widened, repelling her forgot about Kaya during the chaos, "I've gotta go back and get her." he breathed.

The dragon shrieked in pain and zipped away from Kaya, one of her blades now sticky with blood. It whirled around her in a circle and began to fly at her from different angles, fading out of the way as each time she was there to meet it with a long knife. She managed to get in a few more deep wounds and she could tell the creature was hurting.

Hikaru ran out of the estate, slashing at demons surrounding him and occasionally yelled, "Princess Kaya!"
